I saw Dr. Navabi on March 26 for a general dentistry appointment as I just moved into the area. Before I made an appointment at this place, I called to confirm they were in network with CIGNA PPO and that there would be no charge for a dental appointment. I also reconfirmed in person before the appointment that there would be no charge. It was just a Cleaning, x rays and general dentistry. However, I was billed $103 saying they were out of network. I called in April and spoke to several staff who said they would get back to me. They never got back to me. I called the CIGNA dental insurance and they confirmed that this was a mistake as the dentist was in network. I also checked online at CIGNA and it says that he is in network. Because the staff kept saying that he would get back to me, and never did, I assumed it was resolved. However, I just got a bill in June. I'm writing a review as contacting the staff does not seem to be working. I am happy to revise or delete this review once this matter is resolved. read more

For the sake of disclosure, my wife and son have been treated here not me, but I can speak for the care they received (with Dr. Navabi and Dr. Hirschfeld) Now, starting from the office, while its similar to most modern dental offices, you see quite a bit of modern equipment which was nice and digital. The office is modern enough that for my son's emergency treatment, the operatory they used was quick to come online as soon as we got there and they got us through the emergency treatment. Now for the kicker: this office is pretty much a safe choice no matter which doctor you pick, but here is my take: If you need diagnostics relative to bite/articulation and jaw mechanics/kinesthetics, I would highly suggest Dr. Hirschfeld as she looks at the problem more from a engineering perspective and understands interactions of physical structures very well. In other cases (internal teeth issues, surface/structural, soft tissue) Dr. Navabi has the edge there. Also, Dr. Navabi is very good at calming an anxious patient. The good news is if you can catch them both, they function very well as a team and can tap both for their expertise. Its a treat watching the two of bounce potential issues and treatment options off of each other... Both appear to be on top of their studies and can handle questions on the latest and greatest in dentistry. Last (but not least), the office is clean, billing was reasonable, all billing happened predictably (both my son and wife are on my insurance with Metlife), and no complaints there from either myself or Metlife. read more

I decided to go here after the location came up through my insurance provider. This location is close to where i work so it was a very convenient place to go. There was almost no wait and no issues at all with insurance, the dental techs seem to be very good at what they do and the dentist was friendly and knowledgeable. If you are near by i would recommend this location, unfortunately it is in an area with extremely limited, expensive parking, so walking is the best option. read more

I've been coming here for a few years, off and on. I've always been impressed by the quality of the service I've received once I'm present for an appointment, although booking one has been challenging every time--they don't respond to email and whoever answers the phones is not particularly professional. The dental team themselves are friendly, knowledgeable and professional, so it's a shame that the front of house team don't always reflect that. I'll keep going back unless one of my friends recommends a dentist they love who will also take my insurance. read more

It is always a tricky thing to call a visit at a dentist pleasant. Nevertheless, as always the whole appointment was excellent. Today was a pure check up visit and in contrast to so many other dentists I have seen already, who try to "sell" you treatments, all was very objective. I received very good and professional advice about potential upcoming things and felt very comfortable and well treated. This was my first time at this dental office, and to say that I am highly satisfied is an understatement. After avoiding the dentist for many years I finally gave in and made an appointment when I started to bleed bad each time I brushed. I went with the expectations of being in pain for days after, but to my surprise even getting an extensive deep cleaning on tender gums( nursing mother) Ebony was very gentle. I was talked through the entire process and given a clear set of instructions on how to maintain healthier dental hygiene at home. I never felt talked down to or judged which made me very comfortable. I've already scheduled my next appointment with Ebony for me and the rest of my family. Dr. Hirschfeld examined a completed but uncapped molar root canal after my previous dentist had sent me to an endodontist years ago and said the canal was so well performed she thought it would be fine to just fill it, rather than the much more costly cap that I was prepared for. The tooth is still intact and I have been a regular patient ever since. read more

On the other hand.....the receptionist is one of the rudest, unhelpful, and most condescending people I have ever spoken to. The best of the best!!!! I relocated to South Florida six months ago. It was time to visit the dentist. What was I to do without Dr. Navabi and his staff? If I didn't have a conference to attend I would have booked a flight back for the great job that they have done with my dental care for 10 years. I found a new dentist in Weston, FL and was proud of his comments on my dental work upon his initial exam. My fillings, crowns and implants "are done by an expert." He brought me to tears telling me that all of my dental work was the best work he has seen and only he could do a job as perfect as what he's seeing. He explained that my bone formed around my implant perfectly based on how the implant was placed. He said my crowns were placed exactly with no overlap on the ends and edges not allowing food to get trapped. He was as excited as I was discussing my X-rays. DR. NAVABI, THANK YOU FOR YOUR PERFECTIONISM AND EXCELLENT WORK FOR 10 YEARS. I miss you all but it's a great feeling to know that exceptional service still exists!!!! I am not a fan of dentists or routine cleaning but Dr. Hirschfeld was amazing! She is very detailed and you can tell she sincerely cares about your teeth and her quality of work. She also took the time to explain the issues I had as well as went in great detail about Invisilign when I expressed interest. This is by far, the best dentist I have ever had.
