Everything here is fresh from the farm. I could tell by look but if you can't tell by look, you sure can by taste. There were a few strawberries underneath my basket that were not superbly fresh, but other than that, it was superb. Expensive but you get the quality for the price. I wanted to eat some healthy things on my trip. This was only 3 miles away from my geoDome stay. So, it was a must do! Staff is friendly. Fruit display is organized and fresh seafood is available too. A local was particularly kind of friendly too although like most people and places, it was like I won't tell you where I am from and let's talk a little since you are not becoming local and thank you for patronizing businesses sorta deal. While I don't or can't expect it, I wish I could build more vulnerable, meaningful, deep connections. read more

I was up in the Midcoast area for a few days and Beth's was recommended. I'm glad I stopped by! It's a good-sized market with fresh local produce, eggs, some yogurts and cheeses, baked goods, locally cured bacon, honeys and jams, even lobster and oysters. The selection overall isn't as varied as you'll find at a city farmers market with multiple vendors, but everything is very fresh and I was happy with my haul. Looks like it is a well-known local stop for things like pumpkins and plants--some gorgeous colors in the displays outside all ready for fall! Definitely worth a stop if you're nearby, and it's a lovely drive on country roads as a bonus. read more

All I can say is I wish we lived closer. Beth's is amazing. I have been there 4 or 5 times over the past couple of years, different times of year. Produce is so fresh I think I could become a vegetarian, then I see the oysters and lobsters and I want them. But wait! I can get fresh baked pastries, bread or Jerk Chicken (sat and sun) or local meats! Pumpkins in fall. Flowers and herbs for planting in spring and summer. Yes, this is not your inexpensive shopping trip but this is fresh and local. It's also where a number of restaurants buy their local produce. Parking can be a bit hectic but it is worth it. Plenty of checkout help so no crazy lines. Love this place. read more

From Lindberg's jovial explanation of his hand-made Indian-corn centerpieces, to Tommy Ann's efforts to answer our questions, to Heidi's going out of her way to help, we came away wishing we could live in Maine so that we could continue to help this thriving business. Best corn in the State of Maine, as far as I'm concerned. I go out of my way to get it in the Summer months and the rest of the market has great stuff also. They have fresh, native strawberries which they make an terrific strawberry shortcake with homemade biscuits and fresh whipped cream. The staff are helpful and provide great service. read more

Was at Beth's this week (not my first time) and their selection is fantastic. Everything fresh and just picked. They even had fresh picked strawberries and for Maine that's uncommon. Their Halloween decorating products are out and Mums in gorgeous colors. I'll be heading back tomorrow. Oh they also have canned products from their gardens and baked goods to. A wonderful farm stand recommended by our Air BnB hostess. It's open 7 days a week from 8-6. There were displays of pumpkins and gourds and squashes outside. There were bins of Beth Ann and Paula Red apples and a box of Beth Anns inside w/ a sign encouraging people to take a sample, which I did. It was delicious, tasting a lot like the apple I liked so much from the Wells Farmers' Market. I bought two. Alan found a jar of strawberry-rhubarb jam to buy. We still have half a box of blueberries from the Chase Farms stand left, so we didn't buy more. We didn't need any of the beautiful vegetables we saw on offer because we know we wouldn't use them during our stay. We saw breads, both sweet and not. We decided to split a blueberry crumble, which came out hot from the kitchen. You pay first at the checkout counter and then pick it up at the kitchen window. We sat in the car and shared it and it was so, so good. Not too sweet. What a lovely find. read more

The reviewer below hit the nail on the head with his review of Beth's. When we were in Maine in August, we stayed in Warren and were just a few miles from Beth's. The first thing we noticed when we were entering the market were the tables and tables of garlic plants piled high and long drying out. The fragrance was incredible and we knew we were in a great place for local, fresh, and seasonal produce. If you are in the area, definitely make this the place to stock up on fresh fruits and vegetables. And, if you're lucky and in Maine during the wild blueberry season, grab a few cartons. read more

Beth's is a hopping farm that sells all sorts of vegetables and fruits that it grows on its farms. I'm very supportive of community based, local agriculture, so Beth's is a favorite of mine. read more

Beth's sweet corn is legendary. Sweet, fresh and crisp off the cob. The cheddar is great and the apples are crispy yummy.

I'm not a avid yelper, I lurk and read reviews but rarely write a review. We're Brooklyn, NY folks that are pretty spoiled by farm shares, farmers markets and if you read the NYTimes on the precipicus of the locavorian shift. However, Beth's is by far and away one of the most amazing markets we've ever been to. A solid hour away from our summer digs, we will go once a week to stock up on what has to be some of the most delicious in season produce at good prices with honest people. It's family run and I really hope for their continued success because it truely is a gem in today's mass market farming culture. Find your way there, it's worth the trip. read more

Wonderful selection and workers outside are so friendly. With that being said we have gone the last two days and are pretty disgusted with the treatment we received from their cashiers. There's no excuse when we're paying that much to be treated as a nuisance. Will not be going there again and will be telling others to steer clear. Very disappointed. And the "No dogs ever" sign outside isn't very warm either. There are better, more professional ways to deliver the message rather than making others feel unwelcome as we have been made to feel. read more

My wife & I live in Warren, so we visit Beth's often. All the fruits & vegetables there are great. They also have a bake shop. The corn is awesome! The only reason they don't get a 5 star rating is their price, which is a bit...well, pricey! read more

YES, indeed, Beth's Farm Stand has the BEST corn we have ever eaten. In fact, my husband began to eat the ear that was not cooked yet, and found it also so SWEET and tasty. Beth's has the best, most fresh locally grown produce I've almost ever found anywhere. It is also the most expensive. As a treat, maybe I will go back but what I get at the grocery store at a fraction of the price will have to suffice for the time being. read more

We wandered upon this place when we saw signs off Route 1. It was probably 4-6 miles off Route 1, but it was well worth the stop. We are from Upstate New York and were amazed at the reasonable prices. We even bought live lobsters to cook that night. read more

we live not far from Beths, today my husband wanted a strawberry rubarb pie they had small ones he wanted a big one and they made him one right then and there, fresh and hot out of the oven. The staff is superb and I look forward every year for the opening of Beth's. They have fantastic fruits and vegtables and the staff is great!! can't say good enough about beths. read more
