I was having a slow morning while leaving my parents in Escondido and decided to stop by Better Buzz for a coffee to get a boost of energy in my day. This parking lot can be a bit chaotic but I was able to get over to the drive thru lane and I was surprisingly the only car in the drive thru. I ordered a caramel vanilla latte iced with almond milk but some of the food items sounded great I was just too full to order any but I will next time for sure. I love that this place has a drive-thru. I bought 2 Iced Mochas Blended with oat milk, and they were delicious! Highly recommend! Service was fast and the woman who gave me my coffee was really nice. She also offered my dog a pup cup. It cost $14 for 2 Regular sized coffees. I will be back! The inside is also SUPER cute if you want to sit inside or take some Instagram photos. Awww NO! My over charge after clarifying over and over again. Then the delay in a refund and NO apology and made to feel like it was my fault that I was OVER charged?! WTF?! I also had to ask multiple times for an over payment. Now I'm waiting over 10 min for a correction to my receipt and again no apology for the inconvenience. A cool hip spot for coffee and snacks- was able to get breakfast sandwiches quickly and a delicious Acai bowl on a Sunday late morning. Even thought it's November I was able to scoop up a delicious ice pumpkin chai that I would try again! What is the point of a drive thru if you have to pull around to the front parking lot and eat 20-25 mins? I understand that occasionally things get backed up or the staff falls behind. But every time I come to this location you automatically have to pull around. I'd rather just go to Starbucks where I'm in and out of the drive thru in less than 10 mins with my full order.
