Love me some Agua Fresca and paletas but this location is just ok. I think they are having a hard time with help. It's hit or miss. My Agua Sandia today was not fresh. I've been here twice already and both times I've been disgusted because while I waited, the TV screen that is playing music plays very inappropriate videos and music. Today I looked at the screen and saw this! I kept looking up to see if it would change, but the song that was playing had VERY explicit lyrics in Spanish while this picture is shown. And, you can't see it in the picture but the screen said "Sexflix". This is not an adult video store! It's an ice cream shop that children and families frequent! It made me feel very uncomfortable and in disbelief. I will write a letter to the owner, if he/she doesn't see this first. The smoothies, ice cream and popsicles taste great. Of course the service is a wave. The first time I came in 3 of the employees where just chillin' in the table area and just stared as I came in. They began to talk amongst themselves and so I just look at the flavors of ice cream and left since I seem to be an inconvenience to them. 2nd time I came in with a friend and it was crowded. I understood how busy it was but waiting 30 min? I felt bad for the one guy working hard while the other two take their time . I mean take their time by moving really slow. It was pretty funny. Ok so the ice cream is here is really good, this is my second time here because I work in the area. I've been going to the San Marcos one for years now. I posted pictures, but as you can see the the first picture was from yesterday and it was great, looked just like the one from San Marcos. Today, same guy and look at the two last pictures, It's so poorly served.. so disappointing. They charge 50 cents to use your credit card, which also sucks I know it's a different owner for each ice cream shop but all the other michuacanas don't do that. When I asked the guy if I could sample one of the ice creams, he scraped off the old ice cream from the side of the ice cream box, wtf? It tasted gross too. No dude, you don't do that. I've been to many many ice cream shops and no one has ever done that. When you sample, you take the spoon and scoop up some of the good ice cream. Anyway hopefully next time it'll be better. read more

So I had a palate de mango con Chile it was nasty ... I also had an elote de baso but they gotta work on that . They made it w just the mayonnaise on top none in the middle and the corn was super watery . The agua de Fresa was okay . The guy there is super friendly and nice ! But the girls didn't know what the hell they were doing . I asked if they had a boli de rompope and they both looked at each other like I was crazy !!!! Anyways I wouldn't recommend this place ! This place is racist, unfortunately with everything going on in the world right now you think that this would not be an issue. Most people right now are trying to come together to find peace. The ladies working in there discriminated against us because we were white. We tried are hardest to pronounce what was on the menu, however, it being in Spanish we obviously butchered it. The young that was taking our order and translating to her Mom, then they made fun of us for not saying it correctly in-front of us! I understand talking to coworkers about previous customers and what not, but don't talk crap about the customer your serving in front of them!
