When I asked the employee she told me she was running low so I sad that it wasn't fair for us to pay for something we didn't get right ? Pretty standard, quick service açaí spot. I would say it scratches the itch when in the mood for an açaí bowl but isn't overwhelmingly special. Fruit is sometimes only okay in my opinion. It's also a little pricey for the value - Can run you $15 or more depending on the toppings you add. Staff is friendly though and bowls are very customizable with lots of base and topping options. This location is local to me so I will likely be back, but wouldn't go out of my way for it. read more

I've missed Everbowl too! It's been so long since I've had it. Things have changed a bit since I've last been here. They have moved to more fresh fruit over dried fruit. They still offer a dried fruit mix though. I got my usual Pitaya base and added on my favorite toppings. I did notice they no longer do the liquid base mixes anymore. Very delicious little shop in a popular strip mall. We usually eat out at several locations in the area and decided to get a "healthier" desert. These things could be meals if you wanted them to be. Service is great. It was our first time and our hostess was patient and more than happy to explain everything/options. Ambiance is warm and friendly. It's a very small shop. Accessibility: unfortunately there are no accessible/disabled parking spots in front of this store. The only few wheelchair accessible parking spots are down in front of the Trader Joe's. The ramp to get from the parking lot up to the sidewalk is also there. Other than that, the rest of this entire parking lot is so packed all the time and it is hard to find a spot. The door to enter the building is a single pull door. There are short tables inside and outside the store with moveable chairs. Experience: when coming inside on a Sunday at 11:20 AM there were no other customers which was nice. There was one employee and she welcomed us in and was super nice the entire time. The two bowls we ordered tasted really good but unfortunately the store was COMPLETELY OUT OF ACAI AND SPOONS so I had to order fruit with pitaya as the base, instead of acai, and I had to take it all the way home before eating because they didn't have spoons. Ha...like what kind of acai store runs out of acai and spoons? Lol. Oh well. Still giving four stars because the employee was so nice. Tip: this store does not accept cash. read more

It was a warm day, and a refreshing bowl sounded good to us, so we stopped by. We were excited to give Everbowl a try since we had seen good reviews, but we were disappointed with our visit. There was one girl working in the front, and she was not very friendly while she interacted with us when we ordered and paid. We got a Blue Lagoon to split. We were hoping for fresh ingredients, but we got frozen bases, an oddly textured chia pudding , bitter fruits, and a ton of coconut shavings. The bowl was really difficult to eat. Not only were the bases nearly impossible to scrap up because they were solid, but the flavors were so bland. The slimy chia pudding and bitter fruits didn't help, along with the excessive amount of coconut on top of it all. We barely ate any of it before throwing it away. The bowl was not worth the cost , neither was the customer experience we received. read more

Just like the other locations, Everbowl serves up fresh fruity acai and pitaya bowls aplenty and this location was no exception. Service was ok, a little standoffish and the gal that served up my hubby's water during his coughing episode seemed horrified rather than concerned. No further comment. I got my usual bowl that I get when I frequent the Poway location and already had it saved on my phone. The gal ringing called back what it was to the gal making my bowl and it came out fine. No complaints there. A-OK bowls and service. Pretty uneventful experience...not a bad one, just not a memorable one. 3 stars. read more

My overall experience here was sub-satisfactory. I ordered my bowl online, which was an easy enough process, but I was surprised at the end to see two bowls came out to $35. An açaí bowl has no reason to be that expensive, and I considered canceling the order. Unfortunately, I was in a crunch and got the bowls anyway. Once I arrived and picked up my bowl, I was a little bit more disappointed. The toppings themself tasted good but were a bit on the older side. Not old, but not fresh. The thing that ruined it for me was the açaí itself. The "açaí" was açaí-flavored ice cream and was infused with a sweetness. I never understood why companies used this sweetened version of açaí rather than açaí itself. Overall, I do not believe I would return unless the açaí was 100% açaí and the toppings were made fresh. read more

I have been a loyal customer for 4 years at this location in Escondido. This place has been a staple for me and I have watched the business decline year after year. I kind of realized all of this at my family's Halloween party when it came out of discussion on how much Everbowl has come down over the years. 1. Prices used to be cheap! It used to be a reasonable $8 bowl for the large with whatever toppings + rewards knocked $2 off every few bowls 2. Base used to be blended and taste much better 3. Used to be more toppings 4. They cheaped out on spoons 5. They don't accept cash As simple as it sounds, Everbowl is now more corporate and big business than ever before. They only care about profits now rather than what originally made Everbowl so great, caring about the consumer. The prices are now outrageous. I can't believe I have seen the prices almost double in less than four years. This isn't real estate, this is Açaí. The fact that a basic large bowl is now closer to $16 when it used to be $8 is just unreal to me. They also have a cheaper, less fresh, faster to make + get in a bowl base. I understand that this maximizes profit because the staff would take them 30 seconds to make the blended version, but it's such a quality difference that my entire family is all unimpressed. Now the staff don't have to worry about long lines because it's easier to serve more customers with the lower quality base. This sacrifice is clearly for the profit because the prices went up rather than down after they made the switch. They got rid of their sturdy custom spoons to get delicate spoons that can barely handle a medium bowl that I got. So to recap: Everbowl is no longer a restaurant to get a quick, cheap high quality meal. Be prepared to spend $15 for a bowl that is half the quality it used to be. I am very hesitant to come back until they make changes in the right direction. I have been to this location nearly 100 times over the last 4 years. They pack it with tons of fruits and granola which I thoroughly enjoyed. On a date - Base: acai, strawberries, dates, bananas, peanut butter, cashew milk. Toppings: granola, bananas, peanut butter cacao nibs. I took a bite of this and you can definitely taste the peanut butter. It had a good flavor to it, but I did like the Everbowl better. Overall, I thought Everbowl was pretty good for an acai spot! It was the first one that I've tried in the area so I'm not sure if there's many options in Escondido. My bone to pick is that I have been saving up my points - then they just switched to 'an app' for reward points which I have no interest in downloading or using. But, "sorry sir", that means you lose all your points / credit / cash". Umm. What? Is that even legal?! Do not force your patrons to install apps. Period. To boot, no bathroom, careful coming here with your kid... They also won't give you a cup of water, they force you to buy a box of water... yet there is a bowl of water on the floor for dogs, lol. I almost took a sip. Lastly, the digital menu is consistently covered with paper when they are out of stock. Update the menu.
