Their service exceeds both USPS and UPS in delivery times. My first shipment from REI was delayed by USPS then replaced by UPS. This last shipment was attempted on Saturday. The worst freight service company ever: it is disgusting. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING. We keep documented videos of all deliveries made poorly. Every single freight service employees of Better Trucks who delivered my packages in the last 3 years, have treated my packages very carelessly. In all weather elements (hot blazing sun or cold snowy Winters), these delivery trucks drivers literally throw my packages on the sidewalk, (in plain view of anyone who can steal them instantly), instead taking the 5 seconds neede to ensure my packages are safe, by placing them in our mailbox (4-foot tall delivery package box), that we have in plain view on our front porch. They are extremeley careless and very lazy, and it is disgusting: they should be repreminded for this careless behavior as it is unprofessional, too. The items in my packages thrown on the sidewalk are always destroyed when I open the boxes, whether it is from the hot sun melting my products because the packages are sitting in the sun for hours before I can pick them up, or from being broken because the truckers throw the packages carelessly from afar. It is a continuing frustrating problem and this company does nothing about it. When placing an order online, these retail stores (who use Better Trucks) give no option of picking out a freight service, nor do we even get a notification of what freight service is being used and until we receive our packages. Only after the packages have been delivered, are we made aware of who delivered the packages: we should be notified ahead of time, but we are not. Ulta Beauty is one of the companies who use this company and I refuse to purchase any more products from Ulta Beauty because clearly they do not care, either. This is part of the reason why retail store stores are going out of business: the lack of customer care is supposed to be top priority and these days, these retail stores do not make customer or their packages delivered a safety mailing priority. My package was set to be delivered by this delivery service. I received notification that it was delivered yet when I went to retrieve my package it was just an empty box stuffed inside another empty box. Neither box was sealed amd had 2 separate addresses labels on them. I then reviewed my security cameras and witnessed the delivery woman place the unsealed empty box upside down at the front of my entry way (away from my doorbell camera but in clear view of my secondary camera). She even took what looked like a picture and then walked away. I tried calling better trucks but they no longer take calls and only communicate via chat bot and email. read more

DO NOT USE THIS SCAM COMPANY. They sent a message to my seller stating my meat was delivered. When I attempted to view where using the recommended app it just showed a GPS location in a neighborhood 10miles from my house. I tried to call them and was literally directed to connect with their "bot" online for package issues. A 1-star review for Better Trucks feels way too generous. The 2 or 3 people who did receive their package are apparently the lucky ones. This place somehow managed to lose mine! After not updating the tracking for more than a week, I had to contact their customer service via email. (They don't provide phone support - that's the first red flag). After a few back-and-forth emails, I was told they have no idea where the item is and so it's now considered 'Lost'. The worst part - some of the items in the package were part of a birthday gift. Nice going, guys! It's really too bad the place I ordered from chose to use this failing, third-rate logistics company. On 1/13/26, your driver stated they delivered a package at 6:46pm in Crystal Lake. They delivered it to the completely wrong address. I knew as soon as I looked at the picture that they didn't even attempt to find the right address. Package is nowhere in sight, and I went down at 7pm that night, just 14 minutes after it was supposedly delivered, walked around the entire area for an hour both Tuesday night, and then again on Weds during the day for another hour. I wasted SO MUCH TIME of my own trying to locate the package, which is obviously long gone. So either your Better Trucks driver stole it themselves, or left it to get stolen by another tenant. I even checked again today, 4 days later, and nothing. Nobody has come forward to bring it to my address. The package is a goner thanks to the negligence of Better Trucks. I had something customized, that is now non-replaceable. Now someone else has it. All thanks to the negligence and laziness of your driver on 1/13/26. Lazy and negligent company. For anyone reading this - do NOT use this company. They are fine to let your packages get stolen. They basically do the complete opposite of what they have been hired to do. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would give them to better trucks and Javvy Coffee. I ordered 2 bottles of coffee concentrates on 02-09-25. The link to the tracking on the email did not work. Finally reached out on 02-17 to see where my package. It was sent through better trucks and was sitting in Nashville since 02-13 and I'm only 45 min away from Nashville. On 02-19, it was marked returned to sender. They sent it back out with this garbage delivery service again. The package was in Nashville again on 02-25. It sat there til 03-04 before being marked returned to sender again. Javvy argued that this was the fastest way to get my package to me after promising to use a different courier. Obviously that is not the case for this delivery service by the evidence provided from my first two delivery attempts with this service. read more

Delivery guy just threw the 16"x18" box at my door and it bounced off and rolled down my stoop. It was loud and obnoxious. I don't know if the item is damaged because it's for another household member. They will be reporting the incident to the company and we have video for them too. ETA -- Five weeks since the messed up delivery of my previous review, a "customer support" person emailed me today telling me that my shipment is shown as being delivered on November 12. WRONG -- it was delivered on November 21. In the first place, given that there is a string of emails between me and them trying to find it with that date, a modicum of research should have shown them that -- or someone is lying and backdating -- or their system really is that completely messed up. I live in Columbus OH and it appears they contract with local people to use personal vehicles to pick up and drop packages. Temu used this company to deliver a recent order instead of USPS or UPS or anyone I would now consider more respectable. It stated the package was delivered 6/27/24 so got home searched the porch and the yard in case it was just yeeted over the fence as they drove by. NOTHING. Asked the neighbor who was outside in the yard at that time, and they didn't see anyone deliver a package. I have cameras watching the porch and yard and never saw anyone enter or exit other than the neighbor and a friend who was helping move large items to the front gate for disposal. The next day I find my package on the porch, so I go back looking and my neighbors are putting it on the porch talking about how it was rude to just yeet it into the trach pike and wondering if it was already opened. So, I go back to the previous day and look again and catch some guy in a tank drop it with the trash and the bag is open and yes, I am missing items. The bag had actually been opened and taped and opened again. NO the neighbors did not open it. read more
