Clean and colorful park. This park also includes a water splash and picnic tables. The park also have a trail that you can walk. Plenty of parking spaces. Thank you for an amazing early afternoon. My kids and I enjoyed.

What a cool park with a water park coming soon. Lots of playground options with some covered areas from the strong summer sun in a fenced-in area. We were there on a busy weekend with a couple of birthday parties using the pavilions, but with plenty of parking still available. The playground area could have used more benches for all the parents watching their kids. Definitely a playground to check out with several awesome slides.

This review is based solely off the new playground called Princess Meadow's playground. Opened on Jan 4th 2020, this playground was redone in honor of Meadow Jade Pollock, an 18 year old slain during the MSD shooting. Her parents dedicated this playground to her so she can be remembered for the positivee/radiant way she lived as opposed to a gravesite with flowers. The playground is a blast for kids of All ages. It has multiple slides, swings, musical instruments and ways for kids to explore their senses.. it has become my favorite park in Coral Springs. It has plenty of shade, seating and best of all, it is completely enclosed with only two exit/entrances. I highly recommend this playground for those with kiddies. Such a beautiful and honorable way to remember this young soul, her name will forever live on with the laughter and joy this park brings!

Betti Stradling Park is a fairly large park off of Wiles Road. It has a lot to offer the community of Coral Springs. At 21 acres there is a beach volleyball court, basketball court, athletic fields, walking trails, exercise stations, picnic pavilion and tables, and restroom. Close to the parking lot is a large slip and glide playground that is covered to provide shade while the kids play. There is also a skate park that is only open certain hours and there is a $5.00 admission to use it. Hours and details about the skate park can be found here. https://www.coralsprings.org/government/other-departments-and-services/parks-and-recreation/skate-park The Coral Springs Recreation Department offers many programs at the park including sports leagues and events. There is so much to do here. I saw kids and families enjoying the playground, people walking and exercising on the path, birthday parties, and a basketball game. When you finish enjoying all this park has to offer it is only a short trip to Cherry Smash for ice cream.

The splash pad is a nice little bonus for kids to cool off after some sweating at the playground.

So glad some friends told us about this place awhile back when we were talking about places to take the grandkids in the future. But even if you're just a kid at heart, You may want to visit here. Wear your bathing suit. It's easy to find. And there's ample free parking out front. Mid week when we stopped by it wasn't very busy. But if I had kids, I'd be here every weekend -- especially in our recent hot weather. First and foremost is the interactive water/splash pad. So many machines spraying water, buckets dumping, etc etc. The three kids there were squealing with joy and excitement. Such fun. There's also a story walk/trail for children with various stops plus a regular walking trail. A covered playground with equipment for kids. A Volleyball sand court; basketball court; grills; picnic areas... all with a large swath of green grass in the middle -- perfect for events/concerts. On the south end is the canal C-14 with a fishing pier. More "waters edge" as in the name. And also for adults, there's a covered area right near the water with all sorts of gym/exercise equipment. Don't know what more you could want except maybe a few more resting benches along the main trail for the older folks... Go check it out. Bring the kids.

Even on busier days it's not packed and easy to run. There is adequate parking, exercise stations at the beginning and picnic tables. I run here often at all times of the day and have never had a problem; but, lighting could be better in the back of the park. There are a few areas (near the canal and the turn near the trees) that are a little dark so I usually avoid them if running at night and stay towards the front of the park.

I find it kind of ironic that they named a park after him with a jogging trail which was the thing that killed him but there you go. Mr. Diaz was a proponent of keeping development in check and fostering a sense of community in Coral Springs. This is a great neighborhood park if you are looking to get exercise. It doesn't have a kids playground like traditional neighborhood parks. Instead it has an outdoor gym area and the one mile aforementioned gravel walking/ jogging path. It folds in on itself as you go around. My favorite part of the path is the part that runs parallel to a canal in the back. I saw turtles, ducks and a egret back there. I had a lovely stroll there on a Saturday afternoon. It's a great place to get the body moving and to clear your mind in the fresh air.
