We had an awful experience at this grooming facility. We brought our two dogs in for grooming today. Upon drop-off, we were informed that Milo would need to be shaved short due to some matting in his coat. However, after returning home, we noticed our dogs being very skittish and not acting like themselves. We received a text from Betty and Friends stating that Milo might be experiencing some irritation around his rectal area due to the shaving. Once we checked Milo, we found multiple cuts on Milo's body, including his face, ears, and legs. When we called to express our concerns, the staff explained that this was "common" when a dog is matted and placed the blame on us for not returning sooner since his last grooming. The problem was not the length of his fur, it was the cuts he came back home with. Shaving down matting is supposed to be a preventative way to avoid the irritation and cuts; not what causes them. When we asked what could be done to address the situation, the only suggestion offered was to bring Milo back on Tuesday to speak with the owner. This response was disappointing and lacked accountability. We are extremely concerned about the care our pets received and will be following up with the owner. please think twice before you bring your animal to this!!! My husband and I are well educated and we brought out to the salon and it was a disgrace what they did to my animal. The take place on a Saturday and they are very busy so all they do is shave your dog. They have no regard for what your requests are, and they claimed falsely that the had mats. Not true but it made a good excuse to just shave the dog down to absolutely nothing to the muscle. My husband and I tried to politely resolve this over the phone with the business owner. Shelley and she escalated very quickly and started yelling at us, even though we were not raising our voice whatsoever and then she hung up on us twice we drove back to the salon with our dog to ask her to partner with us for a solution. The owner appeared so emotionally unstable that she could not even articulate a proposal for a solution. This is not the type of business where you want to risk your animal. Please don't take a chance here.. it's a nightmare for us and our dog is very traumatized. read more

I went to Betty and Friends for grooming and they caused my dog to have to go to the vet. They choked my dog out until she had eye damage. They never once said sorry or took the blame, instead, they blamed my dog as if my dog had a choice in the matter. My partner and I went to the salon to view the surveillance video. My partner gets upset and they have the nerve to threaten to call the cops and they raise their voice as if they have a reason to do so... this would not have been happening at all if they had taken care of my dog. They paid for my vet bill but did not return my fee for the service that caused this in the first place. Do not take your dog to Betty and Friends. They will damage your dog and not care enough to even say sorry. My dog's eyes were so swollen and red that her eyes could not close all the way. The vet said her injuries were related to strangulation. I cried for days seeing my dog suffer the way she did. She had to have eye drops because the pressure was elevated in her eyes and causing even more damage. The owner was rude the entire time and the way they treated my partner when my partner had every right to be upset was not professional. This entire process has been traumatizing and my dog might have to go back to the vet because she is STILL rubbing her eyes. This happened 7/3 and my dog is still having problems. They are not professional. They tried to blow it off as if it was nothing... this is until a vet confirmed the damage was from strangulation. Not one part of her sclera was white, it was all dark red, BEYOND bloodshot, and very swollen. Just because they paid for the vet bill does not excuse the fact that they caused massive injury to my dog and never took responsibility, never said sorry, and had the nerve to be unprofessional and rude. We have every right to be upset, every single right and they have none. So take this info and do with it what you will. But if you love your dog, I would find a different place to go because your dog could be next. read more

Someone on Nextdoor recommended this place. It looked like the place was super busy when I brought my two dogs in for a Saturday 12pm appointment, I don't know why there are not more reviews. The staff was super friendly and nice when I brought my dogs. I had filled out general info on little placards per dog and the staff wrote down notes on the back of each one, pertaining to how I wanted their cuts to be. (I had specific requests on ear and tail length. One of my dogs had super long nails on the extra toe on both her hind legs.) I was given a call 2 hrs after drop off that one dog was ready and one dog was almost ready. I received a follow up call 10 min later, informing me both dogs were ready. Everything was perfect: body fur, ears, tails, (the extra toe nail on my second dog). They have such great pricing too! I will definitely be a returning customer! read more

I can't believe they have been open for two years and I had not discovered them until now. Adorable groomers. All 6 groomers were happy and no dogs were fussing or appeared to be "forced" to comply as they had at the corporate groomers I used before. The owners were on-site interacting with staff and customers (2 and 4-legged) The atmosphere was lively as pet parents gazed on watching their "kids" finish primping. The bows were outstanding -- personality match was awesome . Prices were reasonable and they got my old pups looking good. When I had to bring in a 3rd, last-minute, canine friend they were more than accommodating and welcoming. I was blown away by their service and their recognition that the relationship both with the dogs and the dog parents were important, not just the one paying. Great service! I brought my cat here and I am very impressed. He's usually very shy around strangers. I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly he warmed up to the staff here. They gave him a bath and trimmed his thick fur. Apparently, he really, really liked the treatment he received! He went in scared, but left purring. We bring our dog here to get groomed once a month and this place is amazing!!! The owners are so friendly and kind, and everyone who works there is super awesome, accommodating, and nice. We used to take our dog to other groomers and he would come out of grooming traumatized, but when we take him to this place he acts normal and happy when we pick him up! Took my dog here for first time, after finding on yelp. Given appointment by facility for Sunday at noon. Was told they would call me in a couple hours, assuming thats when my dog would be ready for pickup. Did not receive a call, so i checked in at 2:45pm. Groomer said they were running a little behind, and would have my dog ready in 45 mins. Went to pick up my dog as mentioned, and he was ready to go! Had a great experience, staff was awesome and grooming was A+! Make note to call groomer after drop off, to ensure everything is on schedule. Took 3.5 hrs for my dog to be ready for pick up, but was apologized to by staff letting me know weekdays are not as busy. Overall happy, and will see what weekdays are like. read more
