Was around the area for a wedding and stopped here for some coffee as recomended by my hair-dresser. What an adorable, delicious, and inviting space. We spoke with the owner(?) who was also from california and had a great conversation. The drinks were amazing and there was a nice area to sit. We were lucky as there was no line, but our uber driver on the way out told us that theres usually a huge line up! The dirty chai was delicious! Definitly check it out :) read more

If I could give more than five stars, I would! I ordered the strawberry matcha and it was absolutely delicious, perfectly balanced and so refreshing. But the real standout was the ham and cheese croissant. I'm not exaggerating when I say I still think about it... buttery, flaky, and just incredible. The setup is a super cute little coffee truck with easy parking and some seating, which made it such a pleasant stop. Parking can be a little hard to get to at times, especially during weekends, this is a cute little pink trailer, I myself would not go back, I was excited to try this place, when I arrived staff isn't that friendly I ordered a miso salted coffee for the cost of it. I thought it was very high. Coffee was not strong enough and the flavor was very subtle. read more

Dude! Dude!! Dude!!! DUDE!!!! -- If you don't speak 'Dude', translation is this coffee spot is seriously righteous man. The perfect mixes of sweet and savory in both hot and cold concoctions. Decadent and eternal, the flavors take me to a place of love and tenderness, similar to the glowing love of my grandparents, How You Do That?! absolutely love Betty Lou BEST coffee in NB and all the workers -- everyone is usually so kind and welcoming. However, I've had multiple experiences with one employee who tends to ignore me and spend time laughing with her friends in the back while I'm waiting at the counter. Halloween morning, my coffee sat ready for about 10 minutes before I finally asked if it was mine. She didn't respond, just handed it to me without a word. I have become addicted to Betty Lou coffee! I'm going to have to start working another job specifically to buy coffee here daily lol! Service is excellent. They are so friendly and welcoming. Any questions you have they are ready to assist you in choosing what's best for you and make you feel like family. My favorite go to drink is Nutty Betty. I've tasted others but this is my go to! I do appreciate the coffee actually taste like coffee and not just diluted coffee with too much milk. The large iced coffee comes with 4 shots of espresso versus places that like to rip you off and give you a large copy with 2 espresso shots. SIGH. The location is very convenient too and they have ample parking. There is a little table to sit at while you wait for your coffee as well. Definitely recommend to everyone and anyone who wants the best coffee in NB! read more

So sad because this place has the best coffee and is so so cute but the girl working today tried to avoid me for 15 minutes until the time was after 3pm (closing) and started closing the window to act like she did not see me standing there. When I told her I had been in line since 2:45 she had the audacity to ask "What do you want?" We recently visited this cute little coffee truck that is now serving up some really tasty treats from one of my favorite local bakers. They have a couple of tables set up if you would like to set for a little bit and enjoy your beverage and chat with a friend. I love that they have their merch out and have created a cute little outdoor coffee shop. Service was ok. Not rude just needs a little work. We ordered a breve dirty chai and iced lavender matcha. Though I asked for breve and was charged for breve I didn't receive breve and matcha came with no lavender and were charged for that as well. Might have been an off day. We didn't have time to turn back and fix it. We are not often in the area so I can't say for sure if we will be back. I do enjoy visiting local coffee shops. read more

Nutty Betty and whatever my husband got were both delish (something tiramisu). I agree with other reviewers about disliking overly sweet coffee and Betty Lou being not overly sweet. We also got a ham and Swiss croissant which was amazing. Would definitely come back! read more

Was so excited to try this place but sorely disappointed. Their ice coffee isn't good at all. I know good coffee I've bought it all over. This was the most bitter coffee I've ever had & cup sz VS price isn't any better. Thought we were being harsh & a Co-worker surprised us with coffee from there, same exact experience ( not good). They need to rethink or maybe hire a 'real' barista ? Anyway, 2 strikes their out. Pink NB has the 'best' and consistently fantastic!!! read more

Coffee was delicious! I am not a fan of espresso coffee because it usually does not taste good and or you need to ask for so many shots that it is astronomically expensive. I ordered a small Americano with almond milk and it was perfect. My daughter had a chai that she said was delicious as well. Friendly and convenient. Would love to go back on a sunny day where you could sit in the sun and relax. read more

My husband and I looked at each other dead in the eyes after the first bite, and we both just sat there in stunned silence, chewing like we were in the final scene of a romance movie. Im embarrassed to share the sounds we were making with every bite. Let's just say if someone had walked past us, they would've 100% assumed something deeply inappropriate was happening. A friendly face, presumed to be the owner, greeted us and took our order. The wife ordered a single patty smash burger with all of the fixin's to include jalapeños for $15. I noticed a breakfast burger on the menu, so I inquired what was on it. One patty, cheese, a fried egg, bacon, and a hash brown patty. All of my favorite things on one burger. Also, for $16, that seemed like a good deal. In good time, we were summoned to the truck for our order. The fella who took my order informed me he had forgotten to let me know that a spicy strawberry jelly came on my burger as well and asked if that was ok. I am generally not a big fan of jelly, so I politely declined. Unfortunately, the burger was already made, so he requested the cook to remake the burger. Not wanting to wait for another burger I told them I would give it a try. He insisted remaking it would not be a problem, but I opted to try it anyhow. My hands were also very sticky, so I had to stop eating it because it was just too much. I finished eating my fries and watched my wife finish her burger. To be fair, they did offer to remake it. So, the jelly fiasco is on me. I own up to that, and will not ding this review because of it. That being said, I cannot wait for them to visit my neighborhood again. I definitely will be having them again. The food was great, and I loved the whole food truck vibe. If you see this guy in your neighborhood, give them a try. I haven't found another place that makes them! What's boudin? (Pronounced BOO-dan, BOO-din, or the French BOO-dah) It's a Cajun sausage made with pork (sometimes duck), rice, herbs, and spices--often including liver or heart. Don't let that throw you off--it's incredibly flavorful. Think: a soft, fresh roll stuffed with cozy, Thanksgiving-style filling. They also make some great apple fritters and bear claws, but again--early bird gets the good stuff. The owners are kind and hardworking, and I love that it's locally owned and operated. Support your community, y'kno! The front staff is friendly too--they remembered me after three years hiatus! Highly recommend stopping by if you're in town. Even worth making a excuse to go!

The location is perfect, the vibe is cozy, and it's one of those places that just becomes part of your routine. They offer all the standard drinks along with great specialty options -- lattes, teas, smoothies -- and everything is consistently good. The service is friendly, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable for such a popular local shop. They also feature some amazing coffee beans, including my absolute favorites: Texas Pecan and Bourbon Streusel Cake. And if you want them ground, they'll do it for you on the spot. Upon tasting them, absolutely no lemon taste, and the pancakes themselves were kind of gummy. Asked the co- owner woman for some syrup also could I use some butter. Her reply was it's not meant to be eaten with syrup that I would ruin the ambiance of the meal... ok... don't appreciate someone telling me how to eat my food when it definitely lacks something. Also felt rushed when asked if I was done, while still eating.
