Kora kora was my first coffee in Texas on the way to a wedding. The coffee was pretty good but expensive. I got a large iced latte with 2 pumps of vanilla and 1 pump of gingerbread. I will say that the aftertaste was similar to when I am leaving the dentist after having my teeth cleaned. Slightly metallic with a sweet taste. It was a bit weird. The milk wasn't as creamy as I'd like either but I know I am picky about milk. I ordered two breakfast tacos as well. The potato and the bean and cheese. The potato one desperately needed salt. The salsa wasn't great. The tortilla was sooooo thiiiiick. It made it not too enjoyable. I wasn't impressed and ended up forgetting about the last taco. The vibe was super cute though. read more

Found this spot and since it's close to Gruene Hall, I incorrectly assumed it would be pricey. What a pleasant surprise. I enjoyed a chai latte and an avocado toast. There ay they treated my friends mom who has ALS and was going through the drive through in her wheel chair which is completely acceptable by ADA is unacceptable. We were here on a Saturday morning around 10:30-11. Wasn't too crowded. There is a beautiful shaded area out side. It's summer time and we we're gifted with an 83 degree afternoon and I would have loved to sit outside. All three tables had a reserved sign in them with one lady sitting down. We were here for an hour and a half and still no parties out there. Bummer. Coffee was great! We'd totally come back and try other drinks! Have good milk substitutes if you need it! Cozy shop with lots of beverage options and small bites. I had a London Fog which was a nice change from my usual latte.

I had a friend of mine recommend getting coffee here so I deviated from my typical go-to coffee places. I am glad I did! It is close to Gruene and the place is really cute. The inside was very clean and there was plenty of seating. I was greeted and promptly served when I walked up to the register. I ordered a white chocolate mocha and it turned out great. Only one star because I had to to share an experience. When a customer, who orders a quick cup of black coffee, mistakenly arrives 15 mins before opening at 7:30 on a Sunday is turned away, it's a pretty low move. What was the harm?! You took the time to let him know you were not open and told him you were busy, but you couldn't do an act of sheer kindness and let him purchase an easy pour of black coffee. There was no closed sign, or no shade pulled down on the window. If I found out my employee acted as such, I would be looking to make a change. If you're the owner, shame on you. read more
