Tostada chicken stacker salad. Glass of Sauvignon blanc
    Lori D.

Mozelle's may be the big sister (as stated on their check) but I think it far surpasses it. I diner by myself at a community table. Beautiful outdoor space. Food was awesome. I asked for a taste of all three white wines. I had trouble deciding. I landed on the Sauvignon blanc which was yummy. Chenin blanc and Chardonnay were great too. I had the chicken stacker salad. It was even part tostada and lettuce. Flavor was good. Not overly dressed. The chicken was a little chewy. Would love to come back!

This is the kind of upscale place you could go for a work celebration; a date or meeting up with friends. Outdoor patio is nicely appointed and inside was dark wood with a nice bar. We came here because it was rated highly on Yelp and near the old interstate we were driving on. Why not:)!? Korean barbecue bowl was good with some nice chilled cucumbers. Salty for my taste. Wedge salad was not really a wedge and our retweet for dressing on the side didn't work out. Also salty. Rice paper tacos looked good but were very hard to eat. Thank you Yelp for the recommendation. Not my favorite place ever but very solid.

Great new spot close to downtown Winston Salem to grab brunch or a delicious dinner! The service was great but food was lacking some seasoning, overall a great experience and will be back to try more.

Tucked away in the back of a building Betty on Burke is a spot, a location, a destination. I would say "if you know...you know" ...it's that kinda place. We parked and the entrance gave us vacation vibes! Their outdoor seating is where you want to sit when you put on your good summer clothes and are feeling cute. The restaurant itself has decor that's comfortable. Like your sitting in the dining room of a friend's home who quietly keeps getting promotions. Now..Sarah was at the bar and allow me a moment to give her her flowers because the drinks were so tasty, perfect and landed on my tongue with joy! She described the specials which made me want to go into debt and order them all. However I settled on the Mushroom Ravioli which assured me as I ate it that someone in the kitchen has studied abroad. So I ate until my heart was content and I sipped my old fashion and chatted with my husband as if we had just met! What a beautiful evening at a beautiful place. FRIENDS!!! Listen to me. Make a reservation. This place is quality. Small and intimate...it's mature. You will not be disappointed...no lie. This place is adult living with joy! Betty... come to front so I can hug you...I'll be back!

Betty on Burkes is truly a hidden gem! The food is amazing every bite is so flavorful, even if the portions run a little on the smaller side. Honestly, it tastes so good you won't even mind. The decor inside is adorable and totally giving Palm Beach vibes with its bright, chic, coastal feel. The service was wonderful, too.. super friendly and attentive. They even brought us those little purse hooks for the table (not sure what they're officially called, but such a thoughtful touch!), which I loved. Such a cute spot overall -- definitely worth a visit!

When my daughter asked to meet her at Betty on Burke, my answer was yes. I was pleasantly surprised by how adorable this little restaurant is. We sat on the patio outside on a beautiful day. The waiter quickly came to our table, letting us know of the specials, which all sounded amazing.. All of our food was delicious. I had the special meatball sandwich and I ate every last bite. I love you, Betty and Burke!

First time at Betty on Burke and it will not be my last! I went with a friend to celebrate her birthday and they did not disappoint. From the minute we walked in, we were greeted promptly and seated at our reservation time. They even had handbag clips to put on the edge of the table so we didn't have to put our purses on the floor - loved that! Everything we ordered tasted so good! We got the Rice Paper Tacos as appetizers. They came out looking like art on a plate and they were very gracious to tell us that there's not a wrong way to eat it. I got the Korean BBQ Beef as my entree and it hit the spot! My friend got the Modern Tuna Nicoise as her entree and it looked too pretty to eat, but she said it was delicious! For dessert we got the Passion Fruit Panna Cotta. It was the best way to end the night. We enjoyed our meals and the service was top-notch! Ambiance was nice-we sat in the outdoor area and they had a nice simple table display with a small table lamp that I was intrigued by. I'd never seen one so small but what I liked about it was that it didn't take up space on the table. Usually, the displays take up more space than the food sometimes, so I appreciate the little details. If you've never been to Betty on Burke-you must! I was very pleased with my experience and will definitely come back. PS- they validate parking so you don't have to pay the 3rd party parking system in their lot- HUGE plus!

Betty on Burke surprised me!! I did not expect it to be so nice and cozy inside! The ambiance and vibe were great, and even though the inside space is small, I felt like I was still able to have a private dinner with my friend! The ahi rice paper tacos & the local burrata salad were my fave menu items. The sauce for the ahi tacos is soooo yummy! I've been thinking about it ever since. I also couldn't stop eating the mushrooms in the local burrata salad. The latkes were on the softer side for my liking. I'm a fan of a very fried/crunchy latke, but the smoke salmon was a fun addition to it. You have to get the banana pudding for dessert!! Wow! Our waitress was not the most social, but she did her job very well, and that's all we can really ask for! Quick and easy service.

I stopped by this spot for lunch and I was greeted by a friendly hostess and server. The ambiance is really nice, very modern & chic. If you sit outside it gives a beach/ breezy vibe. I got the mushroom ravioli and added lobster. The quality of the food was really great and I do think the flavor was pretty good. However, I was desiring a bit more depth to the flavor. The lobster was meaty but wasn't seasoned separately. The flavor was coming from the light sauce (which I did appreciate) & the veggies. I would try it again. If you vibe with a light flavor you'd probably love the pasta.

Went out to brunch at Betty on Burke this weekend and loved the ambiance. The aesthetic wallpaper and overall vibe were unmatched - such a fun, stylish space. I ordered a spicy Bloody Mary made with their homemade mix, and it was delicious with just the right kick. The Korean barbecue beef bowl was very flavorful, packed with spices and great flavor profile. I do wish the portions were a bit larger for the price, but overall we left very satisfied with the experience.

Betty on Burke blew our socks off first visit . Look for the helpful sandwich board sign on the sidewalk because the restaurant is tucked away at the back of the building. The parking lot is pay-to-park but the restaurant will validate your parking. Upon entering the restaurant you are transported to a fresh, elegant yet cozy atmosphere. We took advantage of today's cooler temperatures and sat outdoors. There were plenty of fans blowing which not only circulated the air but provided white noise to minimize noise from the other tables. I loved all the plants, the fountain and the cool little lights on the tables. Our server, Anna, immediately won me over by offering a chair for my purse. Started off with drinks, I got the Hugo Spritz and husbands the Holy Basil Spritz. We were both pleased with our drinks but agreed that the fresh mint really leveled up the Hugo. Took me back to our trip to Europe several years ago when that was my drink of choice. He ordered the special of day, a tuna "burger," and I ordered the Chicken Paillard. Again, we were both very pleased with our choices. The shoestring fries were a nice accompaniment to the tuna burger. The chicken paillard was about the thinnest chicken I have ever had, I had worried it might be dry but the marinade kept it tender and flavorful. It was also topped with a lovely lemon sauce. Speaking of sauce the cacio e pepe sauce on the fusilli pasta was delicious. The arugula was a nice addition of flavor and texture to the dish. Thankfully we ordered dishes that were on the lighter side so we had just enough room to share the dessert special of the day, which was a "crostini" of delicious toasted bread topped with ricotta, peaches, and vanilla bourbon ice cream - almost a deconstructed cobbler. So good! Delicious cappucino to go along with it. Fantastic meal and experience from start to finish, can't wait to return!

    Cheers!

My friends and I had a great time here this past weekend. After a hot and lazy day by the pool with beer, seltzers, and snacks, we were ready for some real food (and more tasty drinks to keep the party going). We arrived aroun 5pm on Saturday - it was not busy or crowded at all, and we were seated immediately. We opted outside for the covered seating since it was nice and warm still. This spot is just as trendy and chic as Mozelle's - clean decor, light/white aesthetic, nice mood lighting. And the food/drink menu are also on par. I had a couple glasses of prosecco and a small caesar salad appetizer and ravioli for my main dish. My friends had a spritz, burger, and pasta with lobster. We all enjoyed our meals - the drinks were crisp, cold, and refreshing, and the food was high quality, fresh, and flavorful. Association with Mozelle's sets the bar high, but Betty on Burke completely delivered. Service was great, pricing is worth it for the experience and quality, and I'll definitely be back! @azfitfoodfun

There is nothing like Betty on Burke for a wonderful Sunday Brunch! Betty on Burke takes service to a new level. While the parking lot is owned by one of those "parking trolls", Betty on Burke does validate parking so that you do not have to pay (know you license plate for when you check in with the host). I had the brunch tacos, which were wonderful. Our servers were very attentive making sure our waters and coffee were topped off. We sat outside, but they have plenty of well placed portable heaters.

My husband was assaulted inside the bar, and the people responsible left before police arrived. To make matters worse, we were told the cameras only livestream and do not record, which was incredibly frustrating because it meant there was no recorded footage available to help identify the people involved. Everyone deserves to enjoy a night out without worrying about their safety. Based on our experience, I would choose a bar with better security measures and recorded surveillance instead.

A few people were playing card games at one table, others were hanging out near the pool table, and a handful were just vibing to the music at the bar. They have an extensive beer list and some fun New Orleans-style tropical cocktails. I was happy to see an Aperol Spritz on the menu--and it was made properly, so I ended up ordering a second one. It seemed like a few friends of the bartender came in and started picking the music, which shifted into a mix of dance tracks and rap. The vibe fizzled out a bit after that, so we decided to head out. Overall, it could be fun little spot, we will check back later. If you're in the area and miss Hoots Brewery, definitely check out Bar Nola. I can only imagine how great their Mardi Gras party must be or Super Bowl day. On the other end of the building, there's a huge open space with beautiful hardwood floors and a another bar. It looks like the kind of venue where you could easily host a party with a live band--maybe they even rent it out for weddings or holiday events, though I'm not sure if it's officially part of the bar. There's also a large outdoor area with a TV and an uncovered bar, but since it was cold last night, everyone stayed inside. It seems like you can take your drinks out into the alleyway between the two buildings. Definitely a beautiful area to be when the weather is nice.
