It's because the trainers are motivational and really keep you accountable. Coach Nigel is super responsive and really pushes me to the next level. Through the highs and lows, he really adapts our training to match me. The community is super fun too-- Katrina, Coach Gary, Yaire, Gabe all bring such good energy. The fitcamps on Saturday's are a lot of fun and help keep you in the right mindset through the weekends and keeps you motivated. Highly recommend!

I found the organization on Yelp and went to the @elite_technique instagram website and was immediately amazed by the results being shown. This was all I needed to see to convince me that this was place that I needed to join. I contacted Elite Technique via Yelp to establish my membership, in addition to asking any other pertinent questions and obtaining necessary details. You have the option of going to five days a week and an extra day of Saturday Morning Bootcamp is included. The sessions are normally thirty minutes (more so HIIT style) workouts that consists of specific plans for your specific goal. Elite Technique also provides meal plans, in which you can reach out to your trainer for motivation in remaining consistent. Each trainer is assigned one to two clients per session to ensure Social Distancing guidelines are followed. Everyone in the gym must also bring a large towel to cover equipment, in addition to wearing gloves that cover your entire hand. Elite Technique is constantly being cleaned by the trainers with disinfectant wipes/spray during and after the use of equipment. I was assigned Miguel as a trainer. Miguel pushes me and I really appreciate him for that. To be honest, all of the trainers are very friendly and motivating. Deciding to attend Elite Technique will be an amazing choice for anyone that needs assistance on their fitness journey.

I decided to become a full member after completing two 6-week challenges and am so happy with my decision. The facility is well maintained. The equipment is cleaned after every class. The location is convenient and easy to find. As the class sizes continue to expand, I believe EW Fitness will need a larger facility, but I'm sure Coach Lisa is on top of that.

Today, my kid was turned away because the kids club was at capacity due to poor planning, crappy ratios and the staff's inability to look at the schedule, look at who's registered for classes, look at who in those classes has a kid's membership and go from there. When I raised concerns with the staff and front desk, I was met with attitude and told to call guest services if I need help. This was what Ivan said after he said "we can remove the service for you right here" before he doubled down and threw a card on the counter and told me to call guest services. Additionally, one of the inept employees in the kids club, misidentified me as the parent who cussed her out and was hostile. I wasn't hostile - I made a few faces and asked specific, pointed questions. Y'all can't handle it because you don't know how to work under pressure and weren't given talking points? Fine. Be mad then, sis. Don't care. So, Ivan wanted to play savior and "write my name down" so that he could "determine what to do." FOH. Don't get mad at me when I ask legitimate questions about your policies that are not posted. Further, when you elevate your voice, don't get mad at me when I do the same. I have never had a positive experience here with the management team. I have filed multiple complaints and addressed multiple concerns and have never been followed up with. Ever. I have already requested cancellation of both of my memberships, and a refund. This gym is a hot mess. The management team is terrible. Spare yourself. And they're anti-Black American. I've had multiple experiences that demonstrate that: -no acknowledgment of Juneteenth in similar ways as July 4, despite it being a majority Black club -prior to opening, the guy whose last name is Tillman spoke about the fact that they don't have a gym because "this is PG COUNTY and all the thugs would show up sagging" -ongoing interactions I've witnessed and experienced between myself and the management team

I wasn't disciplined and didn't sign up until October. Easily the best decision I made. They moved to a bigger location in Forestville and the energy is still amazing!! I love it here because 1 It's black and women-owned I mean I was sold from knowing that! You feel a sense of belonging and the community they have build feels so genuine. The owner is also a gem and she's truly goals!! Being a woman you can feel so intimated and uncomfortable going to the normal local gyms in the area, but you don't have to worry about that feeling anymore at HFF! At first I was a bit intimated, but once I got into a groove it has been a great journey so far. I'm on my second month and I'm glad to be a part of the HFF family! The trainers don't play and they really push your limits! I'm so glad I joined and I do highly recommend to anyone looking for a new gym that really cares about your goals to attend an intro class and give it a shot!!!!

I took interest when I read on their website that they offer a female boxing class--12 sessions for $150. I was still a bit timid (I'd never boxed before but had heard it was an excellent workout). So I talked to the trainer and decided to go in for a personal session instead. The one-on-one session was only $35 and lasted about an hour and a half! I thought I'd just be learning how to throw punches but after throwing around the medicine ball to warm up, he had me sparing with him in the ring! I learned so much in one session--- and I was exhausted. When I woke up the next morning my whole body was sore---a sure indication of a great workout! If you are a female looking for a new type of work out, I highly recommend this gym. It's a boxing gym so don't expect frills. But, the trainer is very welcoming, professional, and knowledgeable. This boxing gym trains kids as well as amateur and professional boxers so you might need to call first to determine the best times of day for you to come in.
