I met with Nevie the gym owner who explained that the challenge is free after you invest in yourself for an undisclosed about. You meet the challenge and you get your money back. I didn't have anything to lose so I joined. I must admit that Nevie worked to figure out why I was not getting the weekly emails and meal plans. So if joined through any META platform (Instagram/Facebook) the emails will be sent to that registered email address. Things that were not transparent to me were: the class schedule not being readily available, the link to view the workouts online so I could join from home, who I should report my weekly weight. Darelle shows modified exercises for beginners and ways to make the exercise more challenging for the advanced bootcampers. The fellow bootcampers are friendly and encouraging! The staff seems to only be friendly and attentive to the clientele that they know or that's been there for a while. When I joined the boot camp I didn't get sufficient instruction on exercises, nor did I receive the attention that I needed. It was like I was being thrown to the wolves without any type of instruction. You would think that since you're training with other people the prices would be lowered dramatically...WRONG! Just as high as if you were being trained by yourself. The trainer to client ratio was unbalanced and due to the confusion I had to cancel my membership. Luckily, they do have a 30 day trial period. When I'm paying my hard earned money I will not feel like I'm a bother to the staff. Take if from me, save your money and hire an actual personal trainer and forget about a group boot camp of 30 people with 3 trainers.

I started coming to the gym Jan 2023 at 20% bodyfat. Didn't know a single person at the gym but was looking for a gym nearby where I live that I could go to consistently. 9 months later, I made my bodybuilding debut with OCB under Kenny and Ali's guidance. I had found a place with a great community and that was black owned. Outside of the trainers, those that attend the gym often contributed to my rapid advancement in the gym. The discipline and level that I was pushed in the gym by Kenny and Ali contributed to all areas of my life as well, especially in the workplace doubling my salary in 2023 compared to 2022. There are so many benefits that being a member of HIT FIT provides outside of just fitness. At Hit Fit, I believe anyone can reach their goals from the beginner level to advanced powerlifting/bodybuilding/pro athletes. I contacted customer service and they were not helpful but pretty rude and aggressive. I had to propose a solution since they said either cancel for $300+ or have a medical issue. I unfortunately did experience a medical issue and they refused to terminate my account but only freeze my account for one month due to my medical issue caused by compel. Worst experience ever.
