Great selection of liquors, liqueurs, and wines, many of which you might not be able to find at your regular grocery or big box store. Specifically came in looking for Crème de Cassis after failing to find any at Longs, Walmart, Costco, and Don Quijote, and score! They had like 5 different brands of it. Also picked up some nice whiskeys. The owner/worker is super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Easily accessible location right near my house, never too busy, with ample private parking. An unexpected surprise of a liquor store. Take it from someone that knows a thing or two about buying, mixing, and most importantly, consuming adult drinks, this is not your average liquor store (think back to Pump Liquor in Aiea). This place is like a classy version of a liquor store, with inventory for days. They have so many different kinds of liquor, I was shocked! All neatly stacked and organized, this place is a real gem tucked in a semi-residential area just outside of the heart of metropolitan Honolulu! So many unique hard liquors and beers. I initally came here to get some Hana Koa White Rabbit beers, but ended up returning to get some Roku Gin and some mochi flavored beer also made by the Hana Koa Brewery. Exploring the isles, I saw liquor that I didn't even know existed. Whether it's for a gift for a special someone, a mixture for a Tinder date, or just a special concoction for yourself, this place has everything on your booze wishlist. Side note, the workers here are friendly and chill and the parking lot does not contain the usual characters you typically find outside of liquor stores (or 7-11s). Awful experience here at BevMart. I've purchased here many times, local liquor store with craft beer selections that are hard to find. I've interacted with staff as well as owner Daniel. Staff are cool, owner Daniel was extremely rude and discriminatory towards me when I tried to speak to him about a product I was interested in purchasing. He actually called me an "entitled haole" in our conversation, it seemed like it was nothing for him when he said it, like he had no idea he was being offensive. He kept saying how his son was supposed to be running the store but that he was stuck doing it and I was just so completely confused and put off by this interaction. All I wanted to do was purchase some specialty items for a special occasion and I'll never go back there again. Plenty of other places to buy booze wow! read more

The guy at the counter, Thomas, asked me to empty my pockets. I did and only had my keys and phone. I went outside to calm down while my wife continued to shop. She had at least $100 worth of alcohol ready to purchase. I came back in and asked him if he thought i was stealing, and he smugly responded with "you look like someone who hasn't owned shit in his life" then continued saying it wasn't personal after boldly claming i never owned shit... guess he didn't like being called out on being a jerk cause he took the products we were trying to purchase and kicked us out and said to not come back. They were not giving of the same Aloha on the phone. Short and rude I would say. Hey maybe extend a little Aloha when your customers calls. I went to Bev Mart not to buy liquor but to buy Lychees. I saw in FB about the posting for lychees on sale . Owner replied to say they available and very sweet and lots of parking (very important) I have never been to Bev Mart before so I was totally lost looking for it and because there was heavy congestion.. road blocks due to road construction... Finally after having passed it twice and going around and making illegal u-turns ...drove into the parking and so relieved didn't have to look or pay for parking like in Chinatown . So as I entered this liquor based store ... I was looking for the lychees... told the girl and the owner was there and told me .. he got plenty...and they're real sweet . And he was super nice and friendly so I took his word that it was super sweet . I bought three bags and was super happy! As it was ... super sweet .. I would return if I'm in the area again ! My first time to this Bev Mart and they have every type of liquor you can find . Too bad I don't drink ... but I would return to buy fresh lychees at this liquor store ! OMG i cannot believe no one told me about this place sooner! the biggest and widest variety of liquor i have seen in hawaii. if youre looking for mixers, this is the place to go. they have a lot of the flavors/syrups that other places dont carry (though they dont have ginger) they had a good selection of tawny ports too, which is actually kinda hard to find here. went to an actual wine store the other week and they had zero! was also looking for parrot bay mango since i cant seem to find that anywhere anymore, but they only had the smaller sized bottles of regular parrot bay =( other than that though their selection is huge. if you've never been there, plan to spend a lot of time trying to browse the shelves, because its a lot to get through. and if you dont know what things are, then be prepared to look it up. theyre not like wine shops or tamuras that have shelf labels with descriptions of how things might taste/aromas/etc theyre located in a kind of random area of a residential neighborhood. and they have their own parking lot, so makes it super easy to buy stuff. read more

Bev Mart is a really good neighborhood beverage store. We live really close so we walk the dog and one of us runs inside to grab the goods. The owner is really nice and brings in the dog, he has his own bed by the checkout counter. The dog is freaking beautiful. I wish they told you about their purse policy before you start shopping. A friend recommended this place so I just stopped by to buy beer / check out their liquor selection. The same guy who let me in the door tells me I can't have my small bag in the store. He said it's big enough to fit a beer in it so it's not allowed. I get it, but cmon man don't tell me after i've been browsing for 10 mins.. never stole anything in my life but now I somehow feel like a thief lmao On the bright side their selection is good. Huge liquor selection (plenty amaros!!!) and so much craft beer that i've never even seen before. The variety is quite impressive and I'm so glad I had the chance to stop by. If you have friends that are beer lovers, it's the perfect place to grab them something different. As a bourbon neophyte who is just starting to collect, sip, and enjoy this American whisky, my search has taken me to a few of the big name store, big box stores, and this store, a non-descript Mom n Pop-looking store on Date Street. When you enter, the owner Candace greets you warmly and asks if she can help you find something. You can browse their extensive selection of beers, wines and whiskies,... and then pour over their many bottles of bourbon. My quest for unicorn bottles such as Blanton's came up short. Apparently, like other stores pitched to me "It comes in sporadically and it sells out quickly." No matter: they have lots of other good brands to choose from. Although I didn't make a purchase this time, I'm sure I'll be back. If you do go, make sure you look at their locked glass case for some half-unicorn bourbons. There's Bomberger's 2021 and Shenk's from the Michter's distillery's Legacy Series. Way out of THIS rookie's league, but maybe okay for a serious collector. The manager has a few common sense rules in place, for the safety of customers and guests. Any large bags can and have to be left up front with the cashier, young children need to be supervised and NOT touching expensive merchandise, and ofc anyone with bicycles or skateboards have to leave them outside. I was shocked when I entered the store and the cashier asked me to leave my purse at the register. I had to ask him to repeat it because I never heard of anything so absurd. He said I could not have anything that could fit a soda can in it. I said, "This is my purse." and he said he trusted me so I told him, "well, I don't trust you; I'll take my business elsewhere." I guessing that he was probably told to say that and they probably have a problem with theft, but why would I leave my purse with a stranger?! On top of it, my purse has no room for a can of soda.
