It's $25 per person to enter, but everything inside is super affordable. My 2oz pour of whiskey was $15 and my cigar was $15. Things weren't super marked up. Elaine and the her staff (Vitor and a tall white dude) were so attentive and knowledgeable on all things cigars. Hospitality was unmatched. Ambiance was chill and mellow. Music was easy to listen to. Our cups were never without ice and always topped off. Their walk in humidor was stocked with amazing sticks and well organized. I highly recommend Brix & Stones and will 100% be back whenever I'm back home. If you're looking for a place to relax and enjoy cigars with a libation of your choice - look no further. One cigar typically lasts me about an hour. The last time I was here, my one cigar held me for ~4 hours. The atmosphere is just too relaxing. Chairs are comfortable, ashtrays are nice and big, and tables are spacious. While there are some individual seats scattered around, I've never felt they were intrusive at all and others minded their own. What surprised me the most was the ventilation. I expected to walk into a smoke-filled room but the air was clean. Even sitting with 3 other guys all smoking at the same time, the smoke just faded. That said, you WILL still smell like cigar smoke afterward so just be aware of that. That's unavoidable, even if you smoke outside on the beach. The employees are friendly and extremely knowledgeable too. They were very helpful in recommending cigars, cutting/lighting, and checking up on us. Aside from their bottled drinks, they also have 3 cocktails. I've only tried the Old Fashioned and Manhattan. Can't go wrong with either though I personally prefer the Old Fashioned. Haven't tried the 3rd. After you make a reservation, they have a great communication system via text where you can ask questions--and they respond very quickly. Of course you can always call too. Overall the experience has been super and I'm looking forward to more visits! Some tips: - Entry fee of $25/person - The reservations include the the entry fee and are nonrefundable - Walk-in fee is more than reservation (check their website for exact price) - Their food is from Bocconcino (which is another spot that I highly recommend) - You can bring your own cigars and drinks for a cutting/corkage fee - Do NOT mix this up with Brix and Bone. Parking was a bit confusing for me because I didn't know the reserved spots were for this business, but once I figured that out, I was so happy! Staff is super friendly, i was able to text them my NYE order and they sent me an invoice to pay online. The ambiance is what draws me to the place. It's a little nice location in a centralized location and the selection is really good. The service is great, I appreciate their expertise. I wish the food was a little more available later in the day but the options were good when I visited earlier in the day. Their smoked Old Fashions are really good as well. Great concept. One of the very very few indoor cigar lounges. The in-house cigar humidor for purchase are very reasonably priced. Alcohol list is fairly good. Some reasonably priced options and some expensive. I'm here for business, so not likely going to come as often as I'd like. If a local, I think you should consider this your cigar hangout (other than your porch). Plenty of TVs and comfortable seating. For first timers, trick is to text - because it's not obvious their location in the 999 Waimanu bldg. Reservation system works just fine. Great staff. Bring your own food. read more

This past weekend, my wife and I had some friends/classmates ('77）over for pupus and refreshments. During the evening, a few of us lit up some cigars and continued to enjoy the evening. During the cigar smoke, one of our classmates showed us an ad for Cigar Bar Hawai'i which is affiliated with Brix & Stones. I later looked it up online and it looked great, but I still had some questions as it looked too good to be true. When a friend and I went over there this past Wed, we were thoroughly impressed with this venue. Place looked great. Met two of the owners, husband and wife team, Rick and Elaine, who really know there business. For the next hour and a half, we enjoyed our favorite cigar along with our favorite scotch. I really love the ambiance! I'm pretty sure this is the only cigar lounge in Hawai'i and if I'm correct on this, Thank God Rick and Elaine did it right. Interestingly, this place is relatively new and it appears their advertising is through events such as golf tournaments, basically word of mouth. There's a lot of rules you should be aware of before going there, such as making reservations, but after talking with Rick and Elaine, I agree with their rules and I have no complaints. My friend and I are looking forward to taking our wives with us next. Brix & Stones is literally a hidden gem. Classy place with good cigars, good air circulation, nice selection of wine and alcohol which by the way, will only get bigger and better through customers requests. Let me start by saying this was an AMAZING establishment. I am new to the island and was looking for a cigar lounge. 1. I was fortunate enough to go on a Tuesday where they served homemade tacos. I smoke meat so I know good food when I taste it. The pork tacos were finger licking!!! I am a traditional onion, cilantro and lime guy and they met the mark. 2. The ambiance was mellow and homie. The music was smooth jazz with 5 wall mounted televisions to provide visuals separate from your conversations. The tables and chairs were large and comfortable enough to enjoy several friends and not feel like you're on top of each other. 3. Elaine was welcoming and understood the meaning of customer satisfaction. She was very knowledgeable on the cigar selection and provided an excellent recommendation based on my preference and experience. Overall I have nothing bad to say about the establishment. Their natural wine selection is unrivaled in the islands. Ive gone to other wine cellars in the island asking about natural wines. At most places they have just scoffed at me like I was speaking Foreign language or asking about something that doesn't exist. Thank God for Brix and Stones. They are very knowledgable about natural wines and take pride in their store and products.
