Yes, it's expensive. No, I wouldn't buy self-service gas here under anything but the most desperate of circumstances. But is it worth the extra expense to take advantage of the Full Service option? It sure as Shinola is to me. I come here every 4-6 weeks to have a very polite, professional gentleman put a quarter-tank of gas in my car, clean my windows, check my fluids, and properly inflate all my tires. The time I save is worth the extra $3-4 I spend, to say nothing of the peace of mind about the health and safety of my car. And I never even have to leave the driver's seat. read more

This gas station is knowingly breaking the law. On Oct 15th at 1pm they refused to turn on the air to fill a tire. They demanded I either pay $2 or stated that I would need to get gas first before agreeing to turn on the air. The clerk was defiant when notified of the law. It is my hope that someone responsible for enforcement reads this post. read more

02/14/2022 You do have to purchase gas to use air or water. How about a food item inside? Not sure but this location has the higher prices. I can definitely see the expensive cars pulling in to fill up. I just need to make it to the alien looking station on Robertson. I think they should have people standing by like the old days to pump gas for customers for the prices they post. Not you but I need a loan to buy gas here. Just filled tank with super last week - bad gas required trip to JEEP dealer where they diagnosed. Never had bad gas anywhere in my life. Must be due to COVID-19 delivery shortages or whatever. First off respect where respect us do the property inside and out is very clean, taken care of restroom, clean. The attendance, very clean and polite and with my experience even with difficult customers they're still collected. I approach this location after doing rideshare hungry, wanting coffee and needing to use the restroom. As I walked in, I looked at the restroom and see that the pin password so I approached the register and asked if I could use the restroom. The lady politely informed me that I would need to purchase something before she can give me the code( note: it's was posted on the bathroom door but I don't get close enough to see it yet) I expressed that it was an emergency, but was met with, it is their policy. All right cool. My response " OK I will purchase something then use the restroom and when I come back I would like the customer service number." Simple, right. As I purchased something she gave me the code an told me that the Manager is on site that I could speak to him. I didn't really have an interest in wanting to speak to him, but I did express, "I don't mind speaking to him, ( at least try civilly) but I would still like the customer service number please." Keep in mind my demeanor is not aggressive, not disrespectful , just direct. I don't like their policy and I'm allowed to express distaste appropriately right?. After I use the restroom, and I go back to the area to now browse their selection to get something to eat I am met with the manager approaching me with a civilian jacket on( no inclination he's in charge beside his words), and what can be expressed as a more hostile demeanor. I told the manager, "this isn't meant to escalate. I see that you have the sign in regards for your policy for the restroom. I'm not sure weather that is a personal policy or a corporate policy." He then informed me that it is his personal policy, and that he is the owner of the property and the establishment. My response being I still want the customer service number and you still report to someone. He then proceeded to tell me that with his experience that when he has let people use the restroom, they come out and they see how high their prices are compared to other places, and they even do not make purchases. Back on subject , at this point, I realize that he is not the person that is going to hear my concern out, hence, which is why I still asked for the customer service number and responded with you still report someone. He wanted to continue on trying to tell me as he's raising his voice, I responded with I am done/conversation over, turned around and started to walk away while he continued to raise his voice I responded with shut up. crucial information, I wave my hand away in a dismissal manner. He didn't like this. He then got irate and told me to leave his property, and that he was trying to be professional.(very poor, excuses for how he was conducting himself.) expressed that I was being disrespectful and that I don't tell someone to shut up.( value here? yes and no. I am allowed to express a dislike for a policy.) Did I as a customer in regards for a policy escalate in regards for my behavior.... no( didn't even raise my voice), he did. He did not have to like my response, but because he wanted to try to put me in my place and tell me exactly what was going to happen after I called the customer service to try and tell me that nothing will change and he the boss and owner and it's private property... OK cool enough complaints and something Will change. I'm just following a more civil way on complaint. Whether it makes an impact immediately wasn't a point. I, as a customer could not even express a dislike for a policy without being met with aggression. As I go out to my car to calm down, I step back (less than 5 minutes) out so that way I can take pictures of the property because I also noticed the customer service number on the front window. He then proceeds to come and approach me while I'm outside, while he's recording, expressing that he has called the cops for trespassing, and that he has already gotten my license plates and will have my car towed... My response ... OK cool I was just going to call the customer service number but now that you have expressed that you have called the cops, I will wait for them. In the meantime, you can continue recording, please do not harass me ... little does he know that my vehicle is recording his demeanor on how he has approached me from my back window. He then proceeded to continue badgering me verbally, remember respect, well respected do, while verbally badgering me he was maintaining appropriate distance, so let's clap for that. I ended up speaking to one of the cashiers that was taking over for a new shift and ask him what his managers position is normally . He did confirm that he is the owner and that it is private property. He did confirm that he still reports to the brand of the gas 76. read more

I stopped here to fill up on gas while on business in Beverly Hills. It was conveniently located on the cross street as I was exiting the Beverly Wood area, and I hopped in for a refreshment. I bought my usual iced tea, and used the restroom (which was clean). I went out to fill up my tank, and off I went. One thing I notice is that four of the pumps are full service. This is great, because most gas stations I've been to lack this. I didn't use the full service this time, so I didn't get a scope of the quality of service. But the staff overall seems pretty cool. The gas was priced comparable to the area, which is above average when compared to the South Bay. What can I say? It was there and served its purpose. They're alright by my book. read more

Completely ridiculous I have never heard of any gas station charging for air. When I asked the guy to apply the $10 to plugging my tire he asked me to not come back and stole my money that I had already paid for the free air. The owner is a Thief. The gas here is overpriced and charging over a dollar more than the gas stations close by. The staff is unhelpful and This gas station is a total waste of time and money. NO PROPANE - NO PROPANE - NO PROPANE. This gas station is undergoing a major remodel and/or repair. There is currently NO PROPANE service. I've come here a half dozen times in the past for propane refill. They get one star today for two reasons: 1) They did not update their YELP page and delete propane from their list of services (see photo). 2) I asked the man working there (sitting on a plastic milk crate outside) if he could recommend somewhere I could have two tanks refilled (not exchanged, refilled). He sent me to a gas station a couple miles away. They did not do refills, only exchanges. Very poor consideration of their customers. read more

I'm a fairly regular customer of this location. I do agree with the other Yelpers about several of the employees aren't that professional. I've noticed that there's a new owner that's recently taken over this location. He does make an effort to be friendly. I only go to this location to get gas when I need to have things checked under the hood, as there's not too many full serve gas stations around anymore. I've never been charged extra to check under the hood & hope that situation won't ever come up, as it would be major problem. When one sees full serve, one can assume that they will be checking under the hood & the tire pressure. All in all, an okay experience. I do think that they could step up the customer service considering the area that they're in. Perhaps the new owner will read the Yelp reviews & respond to the suggestions. read more

For gas this place is a rip off! As of January 2015 gas is under $2.69 a gallon and this place is still at $4.79 a gallon. Full on Deception! Do not be deceived by the 2 fill up stations that are closest to the cashier--they are "Full Service" meaning it will cost you more than 5 bucks a gallon. If you look closely at the pump there is a small worn-out Handwritten note that is Scotch Taped on the pump that says "Full Service." And no, the full service Attendant won't come up to find you until you have gotten out of the car and SELF Served yourself to pay for the gas at the cashier. read more

Been coming here for over 10 years. Came today at 10am they said they were closed. I asked if everything was alright and John the son started going manic and told me it was non of my fuckin. business. Who does that? Horrible. Also don't buy their food as it's all expired. It comes in a month after expiration and they try to sell it to you. Pavillions is much better, has better selection and prices but I was trying to help a small business out. Never again. Saturday morning, at 9:30am, I drive to the "Full Service" pumps--I thought I might need some oil and that my tires might need some air--and I had just showered. It was too early to get dirty again doing these things myself! "Check the oil, check the tires"--these are absolutely standard full-service items, but somehow, a garage employee at Beverly Hills Union 76 made them seem impossible or ridiculous. Anyway... After eyeballing me for at least a full minute (no one else was at the station at the time), the employee stops chatting with a cashier and approaches me to say, "Can I help you?" (Duh. That's why I'm at the full service pump) "I'd like the oil level checked, and the tires air pressure checked, too, please." I had already pulled the "hood pop" lever, to make things easier for him. "Sure, you can get air," he says, and disappears into the garage. He returns a minute later with an air adapter, screws it onto the air hose near the fuel pump, and proceeds to walk away toward the snack shop again, presumably to resume his conversation with the cashier. "Excuse me, aren't you going to fill the air?" "You can do it." (WHAT?!?) "I'm paying YOU to do it, sir. That's why I'm in full-service. I'd like the oil checked, too." "How much?" "How much oil? I don't know. I thought you would check." "No, I mean how much will you pay me to fill the air?" (Again. WHAT!?!?) So, yeah, I just shook my head in disbelief (I did not complain or insult or show disrespect, as he had done), stepped out of the car to secure the hood, and afterward drove away in disgust. I went directly to the other full-service 76 station near the old Robinsons May (across from Beverly Hills High School), where the man checked the oil (it was fine) and filled the tires with air without my having to even ask him, and he tried to REFUSE my tipping him! THAT'S how it's done, which is why that dude got a $20 tip at my insistence. As for the jackass at Beverly Hills Union 76, you bring shame on the rest of your coworkers. You know who you are, and while I hope you don't lose your job, I hope you don't act "picky and choosy" with who gets help when they pull into your "full service" island. Would you have asked a WOMAN to fill her own air? An elderly person? Someone in an evening gown or suit? Driving a Rolls Royce? All IRRELEVANT. I must strongly disagree with the reviews written prior to this one. I needed a smog test before my appointment to register my vehicle with the DMV. I went to Beverly Hills Union 76 and explained to them I needed the check completed in under hour in order to make it to my appointment. The guys went out of their way to make this happen! In fact they inspected other parts of my vehicle for free and gave me there coupon price (even though I failed to bring a coupon). I was out the door in 20 minutes. My tire popped and I needed to get the tire changed to the spare tire I pulled over to this gas station to change my tire and the gas station attendant told me to get out of the gas station because I couldn't change my tire in there which I felt was odd , then stops me to try to charge me $35 to change a regular tire to a spare and then laughed about it saying his bosses rules. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE I have been waiting to write this review because I was extremely mistreated by this gas station OWNER, and it has taken sometime for me to think about what to say. I am a handicap person, I had a brain aneurysm and I have a hard time walking, and using the right side of my body. I loose my balance easily and have fallen many times, putting gas is very difficult for me! I went to this gas station about a month ago on a Monday afternoon after my Physical Therapy class on Beverly Dr. when I got to the station I asked for someone to help me insert the gas pump into my car, (By the way the gas station is under construction), a person inside the makeshift office, screamed back at me to push harder to do it by myself, very hard, and rude.... I responded that I needed help because I was handicap. THE OWNER of the station was sitting on the hood of his car, and I told him that I needed help.... he started screaming at me saying that I was lying and that I was "NOT HANDICAP" that he was going to report "ME" to DMV, he actually took a photo of my license plate. He was extremely rude, and hurtful... I drove away slowly, rolled down my window, told him that he had no idea what he was saying, and that life is strange and sometimes we get hit by unwanted health issues. I also told him that I was going to tell everyone about his behavior. By the time I left the station I was shaking - I drove in tears, and got home to tell my husband and daughter that were home. I never write reviews or YELP, but one month later and this incident hasn't left my mind. This really saddens me, there is no need for anyone to treat someone else this way... where is the kindness in people? where is the respect? The one employee that was sort of standing by, and that eventually came to help me while his boss rudely mistreated me, was mortified, I paid $75.00 to fill up my car, while this horrible person was rude to me. I was working a lighting production gig at Versace off of Rodeo Dr. I finished at about 1am, I got back to my car & noticed that my front passenger tire was flat. I reached for my phone in my pocket to call AAA, it dropped & shattered. . Hung my head in disappointment with myself for a minute, got in the car anyway & proceeded to drive to Beverly Hills Oil, which I remembered was a few blocks away, knowing that a gas station would atleast help me call AAA or let me use their phone to call. So im behind the wheel, limping this monster SUV there. I pull in to the driveway, walk over to talk to the graveyard attendant, explain my situation, she totally denied me any kind of help whatsoever. I was very polite & definitely in need of assistance. So I asked if I could use her phone, Denied.. I held my AAA card up to the window & ask her if she could dial the number for me...., denied. I only had my card and didn't have change for the air so i asked Rosie to turn on the air for me. She replied in the rudest manner possible that there's a sign 75cents, can't you read? she said she has worked here 12 years and EVERYONE pays. Tony at the register was wildly rude and abrasive - with this terrible experience, I'll go to one of the other many options for gas. AVOID

Everyone here is always pleasant and the manager John even special ordered my brand of cigs for me which are hard to find locally otherwise.

I just paid $38 for an oil change that took less than 45 mins. I was able to grocery shop at Pavilion's across the street while Reuben (the mechanic) worked! It was great! They also do Smog Checks. I will be back for that! read more

Great station! I always fill up there and the employees are always helpful and courteous. I am very picky with whoever works on my car and Reuben, the mechanic have proven not only how great of a mechanic he is, but also how he goes further past expectation with treating his customers right. There's a great variety of snack and I can find anything i'd need before I hit the road. As for the past comments, please do not be ignorant. Prices are high and they have been for years. It is in beverly hills and stations in nicer areas do usually have higher prices, however compared to other gas stations this small difference is warranted. The service is better, food is better and facilities are cleaner than most other stations. read more
