This market has been in WeHo for decades and as far as my college 's yrs back in the 90s and it had been here prior to that too. It got facelift several years back and is one of the biggest (in size) in Hollywood for sure. Plenty of parking, their parking lot and on the rooftop. Plenty of choices and options plus hot & cold foods ready to eat and fresh products. Friendly and helpful staff here make a great different. I love this grocery store; definitely the best Pavilions in the greater Los Angeles area. The West Hollywood store has been here for decades. Several years ago the old store was demolished and a brand new and huge replacement was built. I'm so thankful to have this incredible grocer in my neighborhood. This Pavilions has everything. It's well stocked, clean, and offers so many amenities. A full-service deli with fresh hot and cold prepared food, an on-site bakery, a large butcher and fresh seafood section, a large wine and spirits section with daily samplings that is adjacent to the cheese area. There's even a large floral department with on-site staff to assist you with your fresh flowers purchase. This location also has a full service pharmacy, and an on-site Starbucks. Too bad a local coffee shop wasn't here instead. But the best part of this Pavilions is the staff. The vast majority of them are super friendly and helpful. Many of them have been working here for years and decades. Plenty of ground level parking with a large roof top parking lot, too. Currently open everyday from 6a to Midnight. read more

I used to shop here because they had the best selection of unusual and high quality products and friendly service -- the gorgeous produce was there but little else last week-end! Hardly any customers late morning and the employees were much more interested in talking to each other than to customers, including the cashier who talked about her social life to the Pavilions staff hanging over the divider behind her the entire time I was there. Around the huge cheese counter, the same thing with three employees chatting it up --and a guy behind the counter who just stared - not a move to greet customers or do the samples set up. I simply wanted to quickly get a piece of chicken and instead of helping a customer in a hurry, they proceed to ignore me and package cold cuts and do stuff that surely was not urgent!!! I was passing by and decided to grab a quick snack at Pavilions, and wow this place is amazing! It's a huge store, packed with fresh produce, fresh juices, and an incredible variety of snacks. I just couldn't believe how big it was! They even have a large bakery section with fresh cakes every day though I didn't try those this time. I picked up some snacks and a few drinks, and everything was delicious. The restroom was a bit busy, understandably, probably because there aren't many public restrooms nearby so it was a little worn, but they kept it as clean as possible. There were also a lot of security guards, which was interesting, though it didn't affect my shopping. The self-checkout was super convenient and fast. It's a bustling supermarket, for sure, but that just shows how popular it is. With a big parking lot and so much variety, it's a fantastic addition to the area definitely a go-to spot! read more

When I came out in the late 80's and moved to weho area I was introduced to certain things that I must know. Pavilions is basically a meat market and you had to look your best whenever you shopped there . Luckily I had a rather wealthy boyfriend who couldn't stand it whenever I "checked" prices! It wasn't intentional but it seemed to be that one of his imaginary nemesis would appear and I totally embarrassed him. I finally gave in and I would go crazy buying Pate's de four gras, lobster, prime rib and way to many expensive cheeses and lunchen meat. I always like to visit grocery stores whenever I visit a new city. I was pleasantly surprised with the offerings and service at Pavillions. The staff were able to point me in the right direction to find what I wanted and also were able to get me some discounts that I wasn't aware of when I checked out. The Pavilions in West Hollywood is a pretty nice sized, well stocked supermarket. It is located in a mini mall that also has Starbucks and Chase so, if those are place you go anyways, you can get your errands done in one shot. They have an outdoor parking lot out front which can get pretty busy at peak hours. They do have a fairly large produce section that includes organic produce. I've even found specialty items here like Jackfruit and fancy mushrooms. The aisles are pretty large and easy to navigate. The produce is pretty decent and I've gotten lots of good produce here for sure but there have been some misses so I will say I don't think their produce department is as strong, quality wise, as some of the other markets in the area. Some other cool features about this market is that they have an ample wine selection as well as a nice selection of cheeses in the cheese department. I have found some kosher and vegetarian cheeses here including Cabot cheese whose garlic and herb cheddar got first place in the American Cheese Society Awards. They also have great crackers and jams to pair with the cheese. Can't review this Pavilions without mentioning their amazing floral department. It's a fairly large selection and it's always beautiful to look at and admire. The orchids last time I visited were stunning! Also, of note, is that there is a Starbucks in the market. They have a deli section, sushi section, and prepared foods. I've never purchased any of these here so I can't comment on them. However, there's quite a nice sized selection. If you are someone who recycles for cash there is also a recycling center in the parking lot. No more Monopoly game since the Pandemic (a once a year "game" where you would win free market items) and no replacement on the horizon as of yet. Trader Joe's is certainly cheaper - even with all the JustforU coupons the pavilions app has - but Pavilions is a far superior store. There is just so much more selection and the food is much higher caliber. Bright spots include their deli, bakery, dairy/eggs, and dried goods. Huge selection of all price levels. Their meat department is decent, not as delicious as Bristol Farms or Whole Foods, but respectable. Their produce is a weak point, but the organic produce section isn't bad (albeit small). Their liquor/alcohol selection is one of the best in LA in and reasonably priced. Their parking lot can be a little scary, but if you go upstairs you avoid most of the drama. I will say having some patience and empathy is important when shopping here. This store employs a large amount of individuals with disability, such as ASD among others. They may not have the finesse that a store like Trader Joe's expects of their workers, but they are often doing the best they can. They may seem unfriendly or unhelpful but it is not necessarily their intention. Secondly, the store attracts a significant number of disabled, elderly, and low income clientele (the last part confuses me a bit as Trader Joe's is actually cheaper). You need to be patient when checking out. Apart from the fact that clientele here like to buy in a bulk, leading to long checkout times, you will often have a confused old person arguing about coupons or taking forever to figure out how to pay. There are a fair number of transients who hang inside and outside the store too. For example, my last visit I saw an old man masturbating in the parking lot (not at me, so I don't care). That's the kind of thing you have to expect when shopping here. So maybe don't bring little kids. Apart from all that, this is the supermarket mecca read more

Pros: - this is actually a better grocery store that most in the area. Location is worrisome and your can run into some choice characters if you come at the wrong time. Selection is pretty good including some higher end items - its quite clean and the folks who work there are quite helpful - they have quite a range of items allowing for creation of even specialty ethnic dishes which is nice! please watch out for bakery! the bread they make sometimes has bugs. i bought a french bread when i sliced that damn bread there were tiny little bugs. i found three. i had to throw it away and call them. i hope something was done but for a nice big store this is ridiculous. My top two grocery stores are Trader Joes and Pavilions. Pavilions has great produce, seafood, and wine prices. Some other items can be a little pricey but still beats Gelson's and Wholefoods. The store is very clean, and the cashiers are always courteous. I have used them also for wiring money which was an easy process. I went in on New Years Eve and the parking lot was chaos but getting in and out of the store was a breeze. They had a good pace of getting people through checkout. read more

This is a nice spot. Yeah it's hard to turn in here coming from the west but it's worth it. The cashiers are very friendly here, but they also have a pretty legit fresh food selection. Like Chinese and Indian food but Pavilions style. It still tastes like deli quality but hey at least their selection is unique. Tamales too, a bunch of stuff. Way better than what I've found at Gelsons. Yes it's still expensive. I dunno, probably arbitrary reasoning but I prefer here way more than Gelsons. I won't for the life of me ever get into Gelsons. Pavilions West Hollywood has been going downhill for years, but I've finally had enough. The price gouging is outrageous, and now they're leaving expired and low-quality products--especially produce--on the shelves way too long. Today, I bought a sealed container of sweet peppers, only to find them rotting when I got home. It's not like I can dig through a sealed package to check before buying, and this keeps happening. On top of that, I've noticed other items, like bread and pastries, are often stale, and frozen foods sometimes have freezer burn. Why should I have to make extra trips just to return bad food? It's unacceptable. The only saving grace of this store is Chris at self-checkout--he's one of the nicest people I've ever met and goes out of his way to help customers. read more

They need to bring back the salt & vinegar wings that the deli and prepared foods counter once sold. Ditto with the wide variety of pressed, fresh squeezed juices they offered pre-pandemic. What happened to the pressed carrot juice, carrot/ginger, watermelon, and green juices? Mystifying these were discontinued. Other than that, next to any Trader Joe's anywhere, this Pavilions location is favorite grocery store. Or, it's better termed a supermarket. You can spend hours here and I have. It's a one-stop shop for groceries, wine, liquor, fresh fruits and veggies, pressed juice, pharmacy, dairy, butcher, seafood, sushi, sandwich shop, deli, pizza, coffee shop, toiletries, you name it. Literally has it all. And most of the staff is top-notch in terms of helpfulness, solid customer support here. Pharmacy staff could be friendlier, if I had to nitpick. Especially as they deal with our elderly locals, who deserve kindness and understanding. read more

As someone who has lived in the area for most of my life I was surprised to have been completely oblivious to this supermarket so very close to me. Let me say when I entered this past weekend it was such a a breathe of fresh air compared to Ralphs. This Pavilions is immaculate, well stocked and filled with super helpful employees! I like this store. Yes, the parking downstairs can be a bit of a challenge and stressful but just head to the upper lot and it's no problem. The store is conveniently located and everything is very nicely laid out. Everything is well stocked. The plaza also has a Starbucks and a Chase bank so it's very convenient. They do offer delivery as well but I have not done that as I do not live in the area. read more

This is actually a well run and stocked store but I have an issue. Went by at 6:30 PM in the middle of dinner to get one of their fried chicken specials and they stopped making it. It was a five dollar Friday special but the deli is open till 10. I could see stopping at eight but stopping just after six just because they've been busy seems ridiculous. Put. A limit and only let people get one or two of these special items. Maybe the staff was exhausted from the daytime rush but don't do the special if you're not going to have it at least through dinner. Just a quick update. Pavilions delivery service has much improved since I wrote my previous reviews. Pretty much every order now is delivered and not out of stock. Be sure to note product substitutions on wax of the items you place in your online cart. It's somewhat time consuming but worthwhile. If you place orders at least once a month I'd recommend purchasing their "Fresh Pass" as it includes no charge delivery fees for a year. It's saved me a ton of money. It includes a few more benefits as well. Pavilions has become pretty much my one stop app for groceries online now. read more

Pretty abysmal given how much they charge for everything, including moldy cheese and produce. I purchased those yesterday, having been in the store off and on for 40 years. When I called the 800 number to complain, i was lied to, told the call center is in the US, that I couldn't talk to anyone other than the person who answered the phone, and that they would call back in 'a few minutes' and credit my account. Naturally, nothing happened; no call. Nada. later, I called the store assistant manager who told me I could drive from my home with my receipt and the spoiled goods (much of which has been tossed) to get a $15 credit. Since my home is about 25 minutes away, imagine my displeasure when I was told they couldn't credit the account, though I have an acct number, my cc number and my receipt which could be emailed to the store. Zero stars for customer service; zero for quality of the produce and cheese. I'll remember to avoid going forward. read more

Pavilions is like an higher end version of Vons so I was glad that this is in a convenient walking distance from my work. Whenever I forget to bring my lunch or need to do some quick grocery shopping in the middle of the week I would come here to get whatever I needed. They have fresh produce as well as ready made meals for whichever situation I'm in. I have had situations though that I would look for a specific item but lucky me, the item would be completely sold out with the shelf being completely empty. Not sure how often this happens to other people but I don't know, maybe I usually go for really common things. My interaction with staff has been very minimal, since I usually know where to go and I always use the self checkout. The couple times that I have had to ask for something, they've been helpful in pointing me in the right direction. I've always gone during the weekdays so I'm sure it's not as packed as during the weekends. I've always been able to quickly find a parking spot in the lot and the self checkout lanes usually don't have a line in front so I can quickly check out once I grab my items. The prices are definitely in the higher end from what I'm used to but I guess that's just how this area is but if I need something in a pinch at that moment then this is the most convenient location for me. read more

My husband was minding his own business and he almost fell from soylas sweeping with her broomstick. I confronted her and while smirking she says she did say sorry, she speaks only Spanish she says but my husband only speaks English so she feels like she can get away with saying that she did apologize but he knows she didnt apologize for not one second! It's injustice and I hope she gets fired. She doesn't care for safety and assumes that we should be okay with her not speaking English trying to fake her away through, when she didn't apologize at all at the time that was needed. This market must be the home of the devil. I am pretty convinced that they get a fat cut from the (most evil I've ever encountered with) towing company they work in cooperation with. will never forget that night and I will never step a foot in Los Angeles after this awful, painful experience. I am a very good person and I keep the law, haven't had an accident in 15 years of driving, tows or tickets. This felt like an absolute abuse and a scam, a nasty shortcut to steal money from innocent people like myself. I bought an energy drink in this store, and decided to check out Santa Monica Blvd, knowing that my parking was ok for buying in the store, let alone the fact that it was late at night, they were already closing, and half of the lot was empty. As I was back, my little Turo's fiat was gone. Had to pay $60 to get to their office and fall asleep in the Uber during a 45 min ride, $50 to get back, and $550 to get the car. absolutely exhausted passed 2am, I approached the office (terrifying experience of its on, being alone as a woman at this very scary area late at night) and broke down in tears. The lady in the office was shouting that I am "trespassing", picked up my belongings and tossed them near the trash so I will get out. I didn't have the money to pay, I was flying back home that night, and I couldn't leave the Turo car there, so I was trying to contact people to help me, explaining this lady the situation, but she was cold hearted, and well trained in taking people's money heartlessly. I am a dancer, I work in two jobs over 60 hours a week on top of dancing and training. This was so Unfair, unjustified, for 30 min that they held my car they charged me $550. I rented the cheapest, oldest car in Turo to save money for this dance work trip, and ended up in debt. I never wish bad upon anyone in my life but I wish the WROST upon these evil people. I hope that God will take care of everyone involved, from the Pavilion market and their towing company. I might not have a lot of money but luckily I got loyal followers and people who are sick of ugly situations like this, I've shared my experience on social media and got a CRAZY response. This is not going to go unnoticed. They scammed a very intelligent and powerful individual, I am going to make so much noise over this all over social media, big LA pages, until this scam is fully revealed to the public, this is my new life mission. read more
