It's a clean station. If you want to pay the cost to be the boss and get your gas pumped for you...go here. The convenience store pop is full of interesting snacks. And I got last minute (overpriced) eclipse glasses here. So that was nice. But my review is for the lottery players. They don't like winners. I'm blessed and highly favored so I have a fair share of luck. I'm given a hard time every single time I try to cash in. They moan and groan and outright refuse to pay anything over twenty dollars. To be fussed at for winning is crazy work. I like my vendors to be happy for me. There are so many other spots to play. If I play here I try to just use the machine. But honestly I don't recommend them because the vibes for the winners are negative. They'll take but don't want to give. You have a big machine with all kinds of scratchers. People put their hard earned money in there on a whim and a dream. And then get treated badly and sent elsewhere if they're lucky enough to get a return. Used to like this store for years, however few times heard complaints. But did not pay attention. You know it's hard to please everybody. But today was a knockout! My wife took my car to go for an appointment. On a way back popped the tire... stoped at the gas station, fortunate she never had to deal with pup tire before in her life so obviously she approached the gas station employee and then stopped in full Full Service pump, when asked with the gas, also check the tires at the air was obnoxiously told to Google it. The older gentleman that works there with the glasses is a total scammer. None of the pumps worked, so I had to go pay inside. I put $30 on my card. When I went to go pump no gas came out and the screen said see the cashier so I went back inside assuming we simply had to redo the transaction. He said I owe him nine more dollars because somehow I magically pumped $39 worth of gas when he only charged/allowed $30. How is that even possible? He proceeded to basically yell at me, insisting I give him nine dollars and some change in cash. I showed up to the gas station with 1 mile to empty if he would have just come and looked at my gas gauge he would've seen that I got no gas. Disgusting. One of the nicer more upscale convenience stores you will find in this area. Fuel prices are higher than the average so I would not buy gas here. Also Chevron is a better fuel than 76 and really the only fuel you should be using in your car unless you just borrowed it from someone you hate--then put any gas in it. Take it to one of those cash only unbranded stations where they dilute the gas with water--that will get them and make you feel better. I just stopped in here to buy a lottery ticket. I had a flat tire and needed to fill up so I could get it fixed. I charged 2.50 and the generator started but it was producing no pressure. I could put my thumb over the nozzle the air pressure was so low. I go inside to tell the attendant the air is not working and he tells me I need to push harder. I said I know what I'm doing I'd just like my 2.50 back. He then proceeds to give me some BS that the air machine is owned by another company and I can make a complaint to them. I told him I'm a frequent customer and this is not the way to stand by your service station for 2.50 he was going to lose a customer. He said he didn't care and called me an A hole as I walked out the door. Don't expect any love at this place. read more

On separate occasions at this 76 station, my husband and I could not pay at the pump with two different cards so we went in to the mart to pay. Rude, most UN-customer service focused attendant I've ever encountered. He began shouting that nothing was wrong with the payment method at his pumps (um......then why was I in the mart to pay?) and blasted me for not knowing the number at the pump (I was the only car at the station- not difficult for him to see on his cameras right in front of him). I will avoid this station at all cost. P.S. I didn't give him the satisfaction of filling my car there and took my business elsewhere. I cannot recommend this gas station. read more

Quick and dirty Solid 76 gas station on a busy intersection. Their store has a great selection but the gas is on the pricier side compared to the area. Nitty Gritty I stop by this station pretty often when I want a drink or snacks, don't really come here for the gas because it is on the pricey side. The station does offer full service gas refueling for those that are inclined and their is also a price premium involved with that. They sell propane tanks as well if you are looking to pick one up or exchange. Not sure on the brand they sell, but the propane is a little bit more than the area average as well. There are a good amount of pumps but because of its prime location, it can get pretty busy during certain times of the day. I'll keep coming back here for their store and snacks. read more

Five star rating for a gas station because of three words: Location, location, location. Is it conveniently located? I suppose. Is it on a main route where there's a lot of traffic on the road? Sure, it's Santa Monica Boulevard. Easy ingress and egress? Yup, that's true also. But I don't care. What DO I care about? That today I was literally 0.8 miles away from this station, coming UP the hill on Santa Monica Blvd. and passing Whittier, when my car sputtered. And lugged. And I look down at my "miles left" reading, which I swear to God read 10 miles a moment prior, and it read "---". Uh oh. The car coughed and sputtered and shut off... at about 50mph... going uphill. I pushed in the clutch and drifted up the incline... peaked at the top at about 30mph... and saw the 76 at the bottom of the hill. I literally coasted... with no power steering or brakes... 0.8 miles and coasted to a stop right in front of pump #2. 76... You kick ass. Sure you're pricier than the other stations. Whatever. My ass was saved by momentum, Dutch overdrive, gravity, and prayer. Yes, prayer. I know I'm not a religious man, but if you're up there... save me Superman! He did. $75 later I was back on my way, right on schedule, with a story to tell. read more

Okay, so the lotto ticket I purchased at this 76 station wasn't the winner of the $656 million Mega Million jackpot last week, but I'm still a fan on this place. It's all about the snacks! You won't find the rotating hotdogs or pretzels, but this magical place sells gourmet and healthy snacks, novelty gifts and lotto tickets! Think Pocky sticks, various flavors of Sabra hummus, Greek yogurt, chocolate dipped pretzels, Belgium chocolate, legit spicy tortilla chips, gourmet cookies, frozen meals, ready to eat sandwiches... you get the point. Horrible customer service went in to buy some batteries guy gives me change I ask if he can give me quarters and ask me for what? I'm sorry but I didn't know I had to explain why I need some change. He then says if it's for the air he can give me the quarters but if not he can't. When I told him it wasn't for air he closed the register and said he didn't have any. Wow, thanks Yelpers. This IS a nice place to fill er up. I needed fluids pretty seriously (not the Gatorade or BudLite kind), and got what I needed. They even helped me to get my stuff where it belongs. This is Full Serve, and I haven't seen that all that much. The other nice thing, as reporterd, is MAN DO THEY HAVE A SELECTION of goodies. They do. Much more than your basic chips and monster fuel drinks. There's frozen foods like EVOL, forcryinoutloud. Lots of high-end type chocolate. Mmm. Lots of cool choices if you're hungry and/or bored with the pit stop norm. Stopped by here for a little fuel and wow! My fiance needed to use the restroom, came back out, and told me to go inside and take a look at the facilities. The gas was on the expensive side, but the quickie-mart, was clean, with a black shiny tile floor. The stock wasn't the regular gas station crap either. Very nice stuff. What gas station sells Pocky?? And the toilets!! They were top-notch. Normally, gas station toilets are a step backwards into the middle ages, leaving you wondering, "why even bother with modern plumbing??", but this place has restrooms that are more in step with the facilities found in a upscale eatery or someone's house: granite walls, black tile floor, a fancy black commode. There was a nice oval mirror without a scratch on it and none of that outhouse smell. After washing your hands in the design-y sink nestled in the corner, you actually have a choice between air-dry and paper towels. Wow! I could totally camp out in here! I would dare say that the women's is just as nice and you'd find no need to "hover". The door also had one of those large buttons with the handicapped insignia suggesting an automatic door, but it didn't really work; I very tiny black mark against this restroom. There were also P-Touch labels with different notices, all in proper english!! One minus: I noticed how it's sorta difficult to get back out onto Santa Monica Boulevard, westbound. Even making a left onto Beverly Glen might prove a challenge during rush hour. entering the corner lot might be easier than getting out, but what's the rush? This is a nice place. Besides, when nature calls, and it demands an answer, just hope that you're near the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Bevery Glen. read more

Even after proving this via the site, Afzal and Saed REFUSED to give me a refund, claiming I was scamming them. They subsequently threatened me and attempted to intimidate me. This place is amazing. The people that work here remind me of the folks who you'd find working on some rural country highway, that is, they are really cordial and really know how to fix cars, and without the BS or the false quote. What they think it will cost is what it will cost. I was in the midst of a car breakdown in which my engine was sounding horrible and not wanting to drive all the way back up to Santa Barbara with that I went in here and the guy took a look, and came back and said he'd fix even though it was clear it was "quittin' time".
