I expected a much higher level of customer service from a BMW dealership, especially one in Beverly Hills. The check-in and loaner process took much longer than expected, despite having an appointment and completing the requested paperwork ahead of time. There were also several small but frustrating issues that reflected a lack of attention to detail. When I picked up my vehicle, it had not been given a courtesy wash, which has been standard at every other BMW dealership I've visited. Even more disappointing, my car was returned with a sticky residue on the center console and driver's seat that was not there when I dropped it off. The overall experience felt disorganized and lacked the level of care and professionalism I expect from a luxury dealership. The staff I interacted with were polite, but the execution fell short. I took my baby, aka my BMW, in to purchase the 3-year prepaid oil change package for $249 and to find out what maintenance services were needed. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the staff, and they took photos and a video of the exterior of my vehicle. Once that process was completed, my car and keys were taken to the service area. They then provided a detailed video inspection that walked me through the full diagnostic process, showing any issues they found and highlighting items that needed attention. Unfortunately, my BMW required quite a bit of work. The dealership made the process convenient by providing a text-based system where I could review the recommendations and select which repairs I wanted completed. As a nice finishing touch, they also included a complimentary car wash when the service was finished. read more

I brought my 2020 BMW X5 in for a recall repair and unfortunately had a very disappointing service experience with my advisor, Iqbal. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment, Iqbal insisted there was no recall on my vehicle and repeatedly asked me to provide documentation proving it existed. We went back and forth for several minutes before he finally realized he had picked up the wrong customer's paperwork. Once he located my file, he immediately found the recall. There was no apology for the confusion, wasted time, or frustration. The experience only got worse from there. After completing the recall, I was presented with more than $1,300 in recommended maintenance. The problem is that this vehicle had a comprehensive BMW service performed in January 2026 and has been driven less than 500 miles since then. At least one of the recommended services had already been completed during that January visit, which made it appear that the recommendations were generated without reviewing the vehicle's recent service history. I understand dealerships recommend maintenance services, and I have no issue with being informed of items that may need attention. What I do have an issue with is being challenged about the reason for my appointment, having the advisor discover he was looking at the wrong paperwork, receiving no apology, and then being presented with a lengthy list of expensive service recommendations that did not appear to take my vehicle's recent maintenance history into account. The recall work was completed, but the customer service experience left a lot to be desired. Based on this experience, I will not be returning to this dealership for future service. read more

This review is specifically about the service center not the dealer who have been fantastic. I've been a Beverly Hills BMW Service Center customer for years and have always had positive experiences -- I even sent unsolicited compliments about their service advisor Justin Young just a few months ago. Always enjoyed going. This time was different. The seat belt restraint guide on my 2022 BMW 430i snapped off its track under normal use at just 15,000 miles (a third of the typical miles for a car this age). A safety-critical component failing this early is not acceptable, and I requested a goodwill repair review. Beverly Hills BMW declined without ever inspecting the vehicle or the part, and without asking a single question about mileage or usage. I escalated to BMW North America, who were responsive and professional. A corporate representative specifically requested that Beverly Hills BMW inspect the car and consider a goodwill repair. They had me come in. One person leaned into the car briefly and that was it. No real inspection, no discussion, no consideration. It was lip service -- going through the motions to technically honor BMW corporate's request with zero intention of actually doing the right thing. A safety restraint component failing at 15,000 miles on a 4-year-old car should never be dismissed this casually. I can only imagine their backpedaling qualifiers when they read this review. The lack of good faith here -- especially after BMW North America intervened and my consistent unsolicited online praise of their service in the past -- speaks for itself. read more

It's one thing to be bad at your job. It's another to treat customers like garbage. Impressively, the team at BMW Beverly Hills accomplish both. Not only did our salesman, Nick, waste 3 hours of our time, he dragged his poor manager through his steaming pile of BS along the way. Here's what happened. We called inquiring about a specific car, were told over the phone it was available, came in immediately, test drove it, filled out and signed the application, confirmed price, and agreed to pay cash outright for it. In the end, we left empty handed and furious. How did this happen (and how did it take 3 hours) you ask? Initially, Nick tried to tell us the car wasn't actually available when we first walked in. I took one look outside and told him I could see it parked in the lot. He acted surprised and let us test drive it. After test driving, as we signed paperwork, Nick was walking back and forth between us and another couple who came in after us, who also wanted the same car. Nick assured us that it was policy to give the car to whoever came in first. We confirmed that we wanted the car and he said he would inform the other couple that it was no longer available. After we signed the application paperwork, we sat around for about an hour, and eventually Nick came back to us to tell us the car had been sold to the other couple. He acted like it was out of his control, as if he wasn't directly involved with who got the car. He brought over a finance manager to explain the situation to us because he didn't have the guts to look us in the eyes and take accountability for his actions. And even if we were to give Nick the benefit of the doubt, and believe that this was out of his control, this experience would be a masterclass in inefficiency and incompetence. I've been a customer of BMW Beverly Hills for more than 10 years, I've just leased my 4th car with them and wow I'm having the worst experience ever. I leased all the previous cars with Neda, but she left so I worked with someone else this time, the sales person is very nice but the other issues are terrible. 1. Quality of new car is not good. I returned my 2023 X7 and got into a new 2026 X7. The car bumper had a small chip, which they painted and noted on the contract, no big deal. The thing I can't stand is the loud cabin noise when driving on the highway. The 2023 X7 was super quiet at all speeds, no cabin noise issue at all, loved driving it on the highway. This new 2026 X7, horrible wind and road noise above 65mph, I feel like wind is coming through everywhere and I can hear my tires, the engine, the road, everything...they fixed a loud wind whistle noise coming through the sunroof at over 55mph, which took 2 weeks, but the general wind noise is still there, and now I noticed wind whistle noise from driver side window at 70mph or above. Going to waste more energy and time returning back to service. 2. Post sales service, not good. They are focused on servicing new customers to sell cars, fine, but I've been trying to contact finance and my sales person for 3 weeks with emails and phone calls, no response, come on...in the beginning I was supposed to get an equity check from my lease return mailed to me after about 2 weeks. No check so I had to follow up, turned out the check was mailed to the dealership but they didn't tell me until I had them look into it... I knew I didn't want nor need the wheel and tire protection but the finance guy was a good sales person so I bought it for $3k when I signed the paperwork, impulsive buy, my mistake. I regretted the same night so I signed refund paperwork with him the next week, was supposed to get my refund after a month but it's been almost 2 months and still no refund, which is why I've been trying to contact him for an update, no response. I really wanted to build my own car, which I did before and no quality issues. I got into this one on the lot because the dealership manager offered me a very good deal, but I didn't imagine for the car to have such quality issues. Not getting into another car already on the lot anymore, those cars always have more issues than custom builds, I wonder why. For the dealership's manager, if you see this, please call me. If not, I plan to go see you soon when I take the car to service again for the cabin noise issues. read more

My wife and I recently purchased a car from this dealership. The finance manager forgot to include the trade-in value on the paperwork, so after a 4.5 hour sales process, the paperwork had to be redone the next day. OK, not great but it was a mistake. Here's the WORST part. As a veteran, I qualified for a lower rate car loan at USAA than the dealership rate. I completed the USAA loan process so I was surprised to receive a bill from BMW a month later. I called BMW and told them they must have made a mistake, my loan is with USAA. After a few phone calls to BMW Finance and the dealership, I was told by the finance director at BMW BH that he received but DID NOT return USAA's email requesting the dealer sales letter necessary to process the loan. He said he forwarded it to someone on his team. No apology. He told me somebody would call me within an hour or two to try to fix it. Nobody called. USAA informed me that the loan offer expired and they couldn't believe BMW didn't return a simple form that is extremely common in the business. The BMW loan would have cost me several thousand dollars MORE in interest over the life of the loan. I had to start the loan process all over as a refinance. What a total headache and waste of hours on phone calls and websites to straighten this mess out. You won't find a dealership that cares less about you as a customer. read more

I was hesitant to try this dealership, but working with Romeo completely changed my mind. He was very responsive, listened well, and worked really hard to get me a car I love. I was set on buying a used car, but he put together a deal on a new car that was better than what I was looking at in the used market. Not only that, but he delivered my car to my home and brought Osman the BMW Genius (also an amazing person!) with him on a Saturday night to make sure everything was set up perfectly. He even offered to park my rental at the dealership in case my building wouldn't let me use guest parking over the weekend. You can tell he really cares about you having a positive experience, and I think he does a great job of representing a luxury brand. Because I had an EXCELLENT experience with Wael Azzam back in '22 when I got my last car, I worked closely with him again for my new car but through NO fault of his I ended up getting the car at another dealership. (Long story - I'll save you the details). I purchased a vehicle from Beverly Hills BMW and paid in full, expecting a smooth out-of-state transaction. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. Since the purchase, I have not received confirmation that the title transfer has been submitted, and the California DMV has no record of it. On top of that, I was informed that the dealership will not provide temporary registration. As a result, I am currently unable to legally operate the vehicle in Illinois, despite having paid for it in full. I have made multiple attempts to contact the dealership by phone and email, but have not received any response. This situation has been extremely frustrating. I did not purchase a vehicle to have it sit in my garage for months with no clear timeline or communication. I hope the dealership addresses this issue promptly, as this experience has been disappointing so far. read more

Beware of False Promises and Shady Sales Practices I wish I could give BMW of Beverly Hills zero stars. I applied for financing on a specific vehicle here, authorized a credit pull, and was told in writing by one of their sales reps that "all we need from you is the release of liability for your other car." At that point, any reasonable person would believe the car was secured. On my way there, they even asked for proof of insurance and a copy of drivers license. When they're asking for both at the same time, it's because they're prepping the sales contract, DMV registration, and delivery -- you're at the point where they consider the deal ready to close. I stopped shopping elsewhere, prepared my documents, and complied with every request -- only to find out later that they sold the vehicle to someone else. No phone call, no courtesy notice, nothing. Just bad faith and wasted time. Now I'm left with a hard inquiry on my credit report, lost time, and the frustration of dealing with a dealership that doesn't seem to value honesty or customer trust. If you care about transparency and keeping your word, look elsewhere. There are plenty of BMW dealers in Southern California who understand what integrity means. read more

Kept thinking about posting a review, since I been coming to the service department for years. I just recently purchased my 4th BMW and 2nd X5 2022 and 2026. This time around husband and I went in late December 16, 2025 and bought our 2nd X5 2026 as we were taking and getting ready to go home past 11pm, husband notice that the car was making a very loud noise and I mention to him "it might just be warming up" never thought or knew I was going to be a problem. So I left it alone and my husband kept asking to call the dealer to get it check out. But in my mind it's mid December holiday season we all know how those times get. I'm a mother with 4 kids full time work so I do have a lot on my plate my last concern was the noise of the X5, 10 days gone by and it click on my head to record the noise the car was making. Christmas, New Years and going back to school were my priority once set, I decided to call service and take the car in, now that my car if there for almost 2 weeks playing phone tag with the entire service and sales manager not once has the GM manager give me a call back to explain what happen. But instead my claim has been denied stating that I hit the car??? I have called and left various messages to everyone, still waiting on the GMs call. I am so frustrated and overwhelmed with BMW Sales and Service I don't have time with a very busy life to be sitting or on the lying to either side. At this point I will be taking it up to consumers affairs. Hope this helps anymore in the near future. Everyone was very helpful with showing me various cars, etc. After narrowing it down to two cars, I asked to speak to the sales manager about possible deals. I asked him if they would honor their recent graduate deal that they have listed on their website. Instead of responding to me, he looked at the man showing me cars and very condescendingly said "you should've told them we don't negotiate before they wasted our time". It was incredibly rude and I've never been treated in such a manner like that. I would never recommend Beverly Hills bmw to anyone unless they want to be treated like their money isn't good enough for Beverly Hills cars. I ended up buying at BMW Calabasas which I cannot recommend more for their patience and customer service. The "elite" attitude that Beverly Hills BMW displays towards their customers is completely unacceptable customer service and their sales manager should never be allowed to interact with customers like that. Horrible experience. Buyer beware. We purchased our last BMW and were repeat customers of the dealership and on our 5th BMW. My husband was texting with the car salesman Daniel and he matched the deal we were getting with Valencia BMW and told my husband he would get us a better deal on a '26 not a '25 and quoted him a payment of $685 beating $694. We told him we were driving over an hour to come get the car to please have everything ready. He said he gave everything to Jory and he'd take care of us as he was off tonight. We got there and the car was not ready it was the wrong car and an hour later they brought the correct color car and the GM brought over the paperwork and he had all the wrong information and my husband who is in the car business gave him exactly what he told Daniel and the payment of the car was $719 which was in a car that was $3500 cheaper. My experience at this dealership was so bad that I feel obligated to warn other buyers. I called ahead about a specific car, and very clearly asked if it could be put on hold because I was driving from far away, over an hour in traffic, and canceling an appointment at another dealership just to see this one vehicle. I asked more than once if it would be held and was told yes. I even called again before leaving and was told it was on hold for me. After driving all that way and sitting in traffic, I walked in and was casually told by sale person (Branden) that someone was already signing paperwork to buy the same car. No call, no text, no heads-up. In my opinion, it felt like they had double-booked the car and simply didn't care that I had been promised it was on hold. When I questioned this, the story suddenly changed to "we don't hold cars," even though I had been told the opposite multiple times on the phone. I relied on what their staff told me before driving over an hour to get there, so hearing them deny it afterward felt incredibly dishonest and disrespectful. I was asked to wait while they "checked what they could do," and I was standing there for about another 30 minutes with no update completely left me there and forgot about me. Eventually the front desk staff asked if I was still waiting, and I had to explain that I was still waiting to hear what was happening with the car I was told was on hold. Finally, (Jeremy)came over and told me the car was sold. There was no meaningful attempt to make it right and no real acknowledgment of the time and effort I'd spent based on what I'd been told. The general manager by the name (Vy) then came over, and in my view, that conversation didn't improve anything. It felt like a scripted "there's nothing we can do" response, with no real accountability, no solution, and no respect for the fact that their own promises are what put me in that situation. In my opinion, this whole experience showed a serious lack of integrity and respect for customers' time. Being told repeatedly that a car is on hold, driving over an hour, canceling another dealership visit, and then discovering it's already being sold to someone else, with the story changing afterward, is not what I consider professional or honest business. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this dealership to anyone, and if you value your time and want to be able to trust what you're told, I would strongly suggest taking your business elsewhere. read more

I came in for regular service/ oil change (a paid service). They told me I needed new tires and quoted me almost $2,000. I took it elsewhere and the tires were good. I asked them to look at my key fob and right after they changed some setting both of my key fobs stopped working. The technician Justin young never responded when I reached out about the issue. I took it back so they could fix the issue, but Oscar Lopez told me they would need it over a day (to check car keys?) Oscar denied me a loaner car because I didn't specify when I made the appointment that I would need one (no one told me it would be over a day to run diagnostics to fix a key fob) and the issue never got fixed. My car is still under warranty so it would have been covered. To me it seems as though when they had no opportunity to make money they stopped caring about me as a customer. This was a bad service and I am overall very disappointed with this business. They have bad communication and worse customer service. I will never return. read more

Now that my BMW is out of warranty I try and take my car to an independent mechanic in Los Angeles that I really trust, but there are times when a repair is beyond the scope of that independent shop. That's when my guy Mike tells me, "Nanci, this is a job for BMW." And he's right--because BMW of Beverly Hills steps up every single time. Their service department is top-notch. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, but what really blows me away is how they treat me and my car. Despite all the gleaming six-figure vehicles rolling through their bays, they show just as much care and respect for my 1998 3-series as they do for a brand-new M8. They make me feel like royalty every time I'm there. The mechanics are experienced, professional, and they clearly love these cars. You can tell they admire older models like mine, which is increasingly rare in the dealership world. One major repair they did for me was an oil gasket replacement--a big job. A few months later, when I noticed the issue had returned, I brought it back and they re-did the repair completely, no questions asked, under warranty. That level of accountability and pride in their work is everything. Beyond the technical excellence, it's just a pleasant place to be. I usually bring my Black Labrador Retriever, Henry, and the staff couldn't be sweeter. They offer him water and treats--and honestly, they spoil both of us. The waiting room is clean, well-stocked with water, coffee, snacks, and a genuinely warm vibe. Yes, their prices are dealership-level, but in return, you're getting world-class service from people who respect your time, your car, and your loyalty to the brand. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend BMW of Beverly Hills to anyone--especially vintage BMW owners who want to be treated like their car still matters. Because here, it does.
