I have been with this clinic for a bit.. unfortunate for me. Always waiting an hour over my appointment time. People inside with no care to wear a mask. Today, I made sure I called 20 mins before I even left for the clinic.. everything was good with times, now after the paperwork, and being put into a room.. to be told the doctor LEFT! Apparently 15 mins earlier.. now why TF you didnt call me is beyond a head shake! Plus it cost me cab fair there for no reason! Poor poor poor clinic, doctors are useless...never see the same dr twice, and there's the big reason why . If you ever get to see one. Came here right at opening to see a dr for my daughter who had an ear infection. The signs all said open, there was a receptionist at the desk and the door was open. We walked in and she looked at us like we were crazy. I said we need to see a walk in dr and she said we aren't open, we don't have a dr today! Absolutely ridiculous! Have a sign on the door and lock the door if you are closed! Won't ever be coming back here. read more

Their outgoing message doesn't tell you at all their hours of operation. That's been a big issue for years with that clinic. They don't seem to want to improve their communication about their hours. There hours are poor as they are not beyond normal working hours, they are not open past 6 o'clock as far as I know, not weekends read more

Dr. Elfourtia is an amazing doctor. He will go above and beyond to get you the help you need. I drive 45 mins to see him and if I had to I would drive 2 hrs. he is the most caring doctor I have ever seen. pkease Dr. Elfourtia come back to the Beverly medical. This clinic used to be good. I would see Dr El Fourtia and have no problems. Book an appointment and when I show up there would be no problems. Last two times I came in booked an appointment with Dr Thomas and I show up at the appointment time and I'm told he's running at least forty five minutes late. Some Drs just don't realize that we make appointments because we are busy people. If I wanted to spend all day at a clinic I wouldn't book an appointment. Do not book with Dr Thomas at Beverly medical clinic. read more

Had it not been late in the evening on a weekend I would have gone anywhere else. One of the worst clinic experiences I could have asked for. I don't remember the doctor's name I saw but after waiting an hour and a half for assessment only to be seen for 3 minutes, have a prescription thrown at me with no instruction, and have no explanation or discussion about my main concern, I would not be recommending anyone I know attend this clinic. Yes, Medicentres do have long wait times however after the experience I had at this clinic I will happily wait for a doctor who is competent and actually understands fundamental aspects of patient care. read more

Dr Atker is awesome but the wait times are bad, especially for people with appointments. I understand running a little late BUT an hour late (and still waiting!) with an appointment is crazy. I also find the front end staff to be lacking in their understanding of their roles. Feels like some of them treat it like retail. read more

Dr Thomas is a great Dr. Too bad he is not in more than Fridays . Staff is great ,only thing I don't like is waiting 4 hrs , even with appointment . It is always 2 hrs in the waiting room and 2 hrs once they take you in . 4 hrs out of my day off puts a damper on all the other stuff i planned . read more

So unorganized. Due to a shortage of Doctors I was recommended this clinic. After 2 days of getting the runaround. I Was called at lunchtime by receptionist and was told Doctor would call me back that afternoon before surgery next day to discuss my pain meds.So I waited. No call. Next day checked my phone. No call. I Called the clinic 2 days later wondering what happened. I needed my meds for a chronic pain issue. All of a sudden nobody knows anything about this call I received from them. All I got was well you can come in in three days they'll be a doctor here. He can take a look at you then . After surgery I can barely walk from bed to living room ( I told them that beforehand would be the results of the surgery for awhile) . They didn't care . They don't care about their patients . All they care about is you coming in so they get paid by the Alberta Government s visit. read more

HORRIBLE! DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE PREGNANT!!!! The only time my gynaecologist was ever on time for me was on our meet and greet. Every time after that, on appointment dates I'm always waiting 45 minutes and over! I printed on paper all of my personal information & also repeated it, and they STILL got my information wrong!! I went to fix it once, only to find they never did make the changes. The clinic is dirty, the bathroom is so messy & the door doesn't even lock! The "nurses" seem as if they are crooked! I'm tired of going there & I would NOT recommend anyone to this clinic! I was told that the doctor delivering me would contact me in the next two weeks range, nothing! I had to find my own. I had the requisition papers do get an ultrasound done, the doctor did nothing but sign her name on the bottom. Not checking off which type of ultrasound I had to do. When I went to go do my ultrasound, they called the clinic to fax over my papers and they sent the wrong papers & the people at the ultrasound place had to take them step by step on how to send it. This is such a horrible clinic! I had a really bad cold for almost 5 days and I told the gynaecologist. She never even said anything!! If you have high tolerance levels, then it shouldn't be a problem for you but a person like me, I cannot stand that nonsense . read more

This has been my go to clinic since moving to Edmonton. Fast wait times, awesome doctors, they have specialists on hand so its quick to see one if you need. Clean bright new clinic. I love the waiting area for the little kids, helps them keep occupied and much quieter and less fussy as a result. Easy access by bus. I def recommend this clinic to everyone who asks me for a good walk in clinic. read more

Fantastic clinic. Front staff is extremely efficient, organized and pleasant! The two doctors I've seen were also great, caring, compassionate and actually took the time to listen - haven't experienced this kind of care for a decade! My physician at the clinic got pissed with for seeking a second opinion from another physician at the same clinic after he had been told me that my ailment "was in my head". Another practitioner at the clinic walks in to the examining room, never greets or says anything at all, not even what brings you here today. Nursing staff is rude and uncaring. This sucks BIG TIME... She will only give me so much med at one time then I run out and cant get an appointment... Something seriously wrong with the system. I just want a truly Canadian female doctor who I can understand when they speak. She is a super person but ...I really resent having to do walk ins, having to appear as if I am not perturbed. And to further complicate things I no longer believe in or trust the traditional medical profession. The doctors suck and just want to hurry up and push you through. I've been there 3 times and all 3 times the dr didn't care or listen. I crushed my thumb, told the dr I couldn't work and it was a work related injury, he wrote me a sick note to give to WCB and didn't even look at my thumb. No WCB paper work, just a $20 sick note. I'm self employed I don't need a sick note. Another time my son had hand mouth foot disease. My wife went here and told the dr "we think he has hand mouth foot disease", the dr said "oh so your a dr" she said no, I said "I think" the dr threatened to have her removed from the clinic and said. " that is absolutely, absolutely not hand mouth foot disease". But he didn't know what it was. 2 days later we got in to his pediatrician, yep he has HFM disease. read more

I haven't been there since 2013 but Dr. Elfourtia was the best... I'm a super introverted, awkward person but he made me feel at ease. If you decide to go there, try to get in with him...he's worth any wait times I see others complaining about in their reviews. read more

Horrible experience. Just moved here from Ottawa and needed a doctor (I'm 5 months pregnant). So I decided to go there. The first time was okay. Got in quick enough but the doctor was horrible. 2nd time going there (with an appointment) waited an hour and then went to ask the receptionist how long it will take and I was told that other people were going to be put ahead of me because my appointment might take long. She was extremely rude for no reason when telling me this. I even overheard her telling another person who kept complaining that she will put him in front of other people even though he's after them. What's the point of getting an appointment if walk in patients are going to be ahead of you? The doctors don't explain anything to you. I have been waiting 2 days to hear about an urgent. The doctor was supposed to send in a referral to the hospital about something very important and it took them 2 DAYS to call the hospital. So now I have to wait even longer to get an appointment and find out what's going on. Seriously, never going back there. I wouldn't suggest anyone to go there ever. read more
