Eric who works at this bev mo or did at 11am 2/8/2026, stopped at the aisle way near bourbon aisle to take his shoe off dig in his sock and rub his foot for a good minute. He then stood up and asked if we needed some help. I said yes, please open the cabinet so I can grab 2 bottles. He insisted he had to grab bottles and take to counter. He grabbed the 2 bottles and we let cashier know what just happened and that we would not be purchasing bottles. Disgusting. Go wash your hands and return to help customers. read more

Not too bad and staff are nice. We arrived to get some bourbon for a gift and all the good stuff was locked up. Not use to this! Had to push the button for service which took a while. Once the staff came, she was so friendly even suggested a different bottle. We ended up getting the bottle she suggested. We then went to the long line to checkout but once again they noticed a long line so they opened up more registers. All in all, good visit to the store. read more

We went here with a pretty long list of items we need for our "Friendsgiving " holiday get together. We were so LUCKY to have an associate by the name of Tammi approach us, asking if we needed help. Right away she to took our list and guided us down each aisle thatwe needed to be down to sell the our items, with us. She has been there for 5 months and really takes pride in her knowledge of the store and items. Instead of us being in the store for who knows how long. I don't frequent this store but when I'm looking for something specific like Grand Marnier or if I'm looking to purchase alcohol as a gift, this is my go to spot. I don't really think their prices are cheaper than other liquor stores but they do have just about EVERYTHING you need for mixing drinks in one spot and if you have a BevMo card than you get the discounted price so that works for me. I have always received helpful and friendly customer service at this location and it's always clean and well stocked! read more

Went there the other day to purchase alcohol and the customer service is lacking. Homeless people were in the store. And majority of the workers were all on their phones. Everyone had an attitude, and when I tried asking for help all the women looked me up and down and continued walking. There was a big girl with blue hair that kept walking around the store but not helping people just kept starring at certain people for a long time and not checking in on them. There was one girl at the register that seemed she was nice to men but rude to women. There was another girl with a long mullet that actually seemed nice and a guy with glasses who also was nice. It's just crazy to me that this people are working here but seems like they don't want to be there. read more

This is honestly one of the worst BevMo locations I've ever been to. Selection/stock wise, it will definitely do the job if you need to pick something up, there's no problem there. However, management is actually horrible. I came recently to pick up some mini shot bottles for a gift idea I had and there was no problem there but the employees are just rude. A lot of the other reviews had a recurring theme concerning the same things and it really is true. There was an older woman that the younger cashier asked for help from when ringing me up and she had such a sour demeanor and attitude about it. There was just a lack of desire to help in any way, and I will not be back to this location. read more

When the thirst kicks in and I'm feeling, I need something a little bit more than a 40 oz. I'll come to BevMo and grab myself a six pack of whatever looks cool. I don't mind drinking some foreign stuff once in awhile. Or some beer I can't even pronounce and it's made in the USA. They do have a BevMo Club card. You see some beer that's on sale and then you have the card then you get the discount. I do like by my beer when it's on discount. There's this one beer that I grew to like so I would come every couple months and grab a six pack of it. The name of the beer is called "Sagres" it's a Portuguese beer. I like it and it gets me faded off three. I went in a couple nights ago and unfortunately this BevMo location doesn't carry that brand of beer no more. So I decided to get a six-pack of this Czech beer "Pilsner Urquell" . I've had this beer a couple times in the past. It gets me pretty twisted fairly quickly. I really can't tell you how it tastes because after the second or third one, beer tastes all the same to me. But I will say this you drink a six-pack of this and you will be feeling Gucci. The staff here is pretty cool if you're looking for a particular beverage they look on their computer to see if this location carries it. Also a majority of the beers are stocked on shelves. But BevMo has some beer chilled. The beer will be labeled as so. Each visit that I came to BevMo. I have been completely satisfied. Bevmo is great when you go in for your purchases but terrible for curbside pickup. First, when you check in - no one is monitoring it. I had to go in most of the time to get their attention. Second, customers check your purchases before you leave. Not only did I have to get someone's attention to bring out my order but once I got home, they forgot one of my six packs so I drove back to store and one of associates had to check with the person who packed it to see if what I was saying was true. Fortunately I was able to get my missing order but the whole process made it feel like I was just trying to get one over them. read more

Sorry but I had one of the worse experiences at this BEVMO ever. I come here like ALL THE TIME and always spend a good amount of money. Firstly as I walk in and said hello to the security guard at the door they just looked at me like I was there worst enemy as well as said NOTHING in return. My GF and I proceeded to shop and sorry but I didn't get names but there was one guy on floor that was VERY HELPFUL. I then go to register and if I'm correct the lady ringing me up was some type of manager, out the gate her demeanor was so RUDE! I only had one question about a discount email that was sent to me and her attitude was beyond unacceptable. To make matters worse my GF was the one paying for our products and the manager insisted that I shows her my ID, or she couldn't purchase the products, WHO DOES THAT. I wasn't even paying. Mind you the BOTH OF US are 50+ What if I was running errands and came in there with my daughter who is just 20. Could I not buy what I wanted. This is RIDICULOUS! As many parties that I have at my home and company I think I'll start to take my chances and drive all the way to TOTAL WINES at least they know how to treat their customers as well as prices are BETTER. BevMo needs to invest in employee customer service training especially at the higher level. FYI this is NOT the first time I've seen this particular manager have this attitude with customers. Won't be returning to this store. I don't need staff asking me if I have or need a mask. I know how and where to get one. If this is your biggest worry, I feel sorry for you. You know nothing about me or others coming into your store. It is absolutely unnecessary to believe people are a walking plague if they aren't masked up and following "guidelines."That is exactly what they are, guidelines, not LAWS. I truly hope this review will get reviewed and looked over by BevMo's corporate or regional management. Never have I had such a disrespectful encounter at any businesses at all, let alone a BevMo. On a Friday night (June 2, 2018 @ approximately 7:30pm) after celebrating a friend's birthday at a nearby restaurant, we decided as a group of 4-6 people to go purchase drinks at BevMo to take back home. As we walked in with a cart, and was just cheerfully speaking to one another, one of their staff members, a Caucasian male, with more of a heavier figure, approached us and the conversation goes as follows: Staff: "Do you guys need help finding anything" Us: "No, we're okay. We pretty much have in mind what to get already." Staff: "Well alright. I'll leave you alone but you better not wreck my store." Following these exchange of words, he stood at the cash register, staring at our every move, and funny part was a few of us girls were just standing in in front of the aisle chit chatting while the guys were shopping around. A few minutes later, one of our girl friend's accidentally dropped a metal lid from a flask on the floor and the very same guy came rushing over, making condescending comments like "Well that definitely didn't sound like plastic. I just told you guys not to wreck my store," followed by a whole lot of negative body language, attitude, and sighing. At that point, we felt so disrespected, we didn't even want to be there anymore. I don't know at what point, his actions would become harassment but I truly felt harassed. He treated us like criminals walking through "his" store who needed to be watched all the time. There goes customer service out the window. Stockton or not, you really need to check yourself dude. BevMo needs to check you. Free stuff is great but free alcohol is probably the best that it gets! :) Every Fridays around 4 BevMo offers $2 themed beer tastings (wait... I thought you said it was free... hold on). As you walk in just go straight into the back and there's a small table and a "bartender" offering beer samples. This past weekend was Valentines Day themed and they were offering samples of a few chocolate and fruit flavored beers. The Irondale Chocolate Stout was my favorite. It's more roasty than what I typically like if I ever drink beer but the chocolate finish was a nice touch. The tastings are usually $2 but I think that fee is waived most of the time. Online it said that there would be 8 beer samples and sea salt chocolate but at this location there were 4 beer samples and no chocolate :( Nevertheless it was still a free beer tasting and probably one of the more fun things to do in Stockton. read more

I cannot give BevMo more than two stars because they refused to carry any hard cider that is worth a shit. Today they came close to being ok ish when they had one 2 Towns Cider in stock. But fell short when they didn't have any of the other flavors that have actual alcohol contents that matter in them. Two towns cider is the best cider in the world and "the bad apple" in particular is the best thing that has ever happened and no one should ever have to drink a cider that is not that one. Also, no one should go to BevMo of all places and not be able to FIND THAT CIDER. You still get two stars because you carry other champagne like existences within your doors, but I am always leaving them disappointed. read more

First off, they have way more alcohol, than one needs, Second, they have great bargains on wines, usually, straight-ahead as you walk in the door. That being said, more than once I've bought a bottle of whatever, thinking wow, such a deal, 16.99, marked down to 9.99, then found upon reviewing the tag when I got home that It was not such a deal. More than once, I've picked up a bottle, thinking it was a great deal, then found that, oh no, someone put the bottle in the wrong spot, that it belonged three spots over on the shelf. Just be sure that the item you are getting matches the description on the shelf below it. It was my bad for not looking more closely, but there are multiple instances of wrong bottle, wrong spot. read more

Disappointed! This guy, the assistant manager, was mean to my mom and I. She wanted to return or exchange some flavored Kahlua, because it tasted off, and he wouldn't help. He spoke in a rude tone of voice and didn't seem to care. We ended up calling the main number 1 (877) 772-3866 and they immediately issued the refund. We were even able to go back into the store for the cash. I don't understand the lack of customer service. My mom originally would have been happy to exchange for something else. An alcoholic's Disneyland! BevMo is truly the equivalent of reaching Mecca (or seeing the Virgin Mary on a tortilla if you're Catholic) after a grueling quest. This is the ultimate store to browse if you're an alcohol aficionado (IE. fancy drunk) as you can literally get lost in the splendor of booze from around the world. Whats awesome about BevMo is that not only do they have damn near every alcohol known to man, but they have those little "info cards" beneath each and every bottle. They give you a bit of history on the alcohol, it's uses in cocktails and even tasting notes/ratings. This turns a simple liquor/beer run into an educational field trip of sorts (If they had trips like that in school I'd probably have a PhD by now). I've spent 15-30 minutes in this place selecting a new brand of Vodka, wine, or craft brew from across the country. It's similar to being sucked into thinking "I can totally build that backyard BBQ from scratch" while in Home Depot and buying all the necessary supplies for the project on a whim. Just replace the supplies with "booze" and the project into "blacking out". The only difference is you'll most likely accomplish your project from BevMo, while you place your Home Depot junk on Craigslist (for more booze money). The staff is extremely friendly and always willing to give their .2 cents on booze/beer/wine. I like to think of them as personal "Alcohol Yoda's" and am quite pleased when I get the nod of approval on my selection (no other retail employee can leave me with such a sense of validation). The store is clean, spacious, and well lit. Plus they have shopping carts for when you really have to do some serious shopping (which I can say I've used on more than one occasion). Basically....this place is Tits! Pro-Tip: 5 cent wine sale is awesome. If you've never been wine tasting or had a good wine (Carlos Rossi or Arbor Mist don't count), buy 90 point wines and up during the sale and I guarantee you will be hooked. Also, apply the same logic to craft brews they sell. You'll feel like you've been seeing a "$2 whore" with Coors and Bud after enjoying a truly well made craft brew. Funny I've never written a review for BevMo. Don't frequent the place often but it is a go-to spot for some very specific items. This year my oldest that has pretty much everything he will ever need was making my Christmas shopping extremely difficult. When asked what he "wanted", not needed, I got a very specific answer....in fact a link to a 13 year old bottle of Scotch that could be purchased at our local BevMo. There's something a bit weird about purchasing alcohol for ones adult child no matter what their age.....so, I passed it by the hubs and he said, yes, we'll get him the Scotch....that settled the matter. He shared a sip with me and a drink with Bob and told me it would last a year; that it would always be shared with visitors that came to San Pedro. I guess that will insure that Bob and I will be there again soon as Bob was one of the honored sharees! (sp)? Go BevMo! read more

BevMo is a great place for booze. There are really helpful description cards under every bottle if you don't have anything particular in mind. The selection is excellent. This is the only place I know of in Stockton where you can find almost anything you can think of . . . hardcore alcoholics notwithstanding. Go to BevMo if: 1) You love imported beer. They have a ton! I don't know about you but I love to try new things, so give something strange a try. 2) You want Liquor at a good price, but not just the average bar versions. I like rum, but sometimes I want something other than Captain Morgan, Bacardi, or Myers. 3) You just plain want to find everything you need in one spot for a decent price. read more
