So the prices here are super cheap. It has a very large and not well lit parking lot so I try to get here before dark when I go. Today I didn't make it but I was able to park pretty close to the entrance. The parking lot is ALWAYS dirty and the clientele is similar to our Walmart's and dollar stores. But if you are buying large quantities of non perishables this is the beat price you will get. So my advice is go during the day and go during non-peak hours and on days that do not include the first three days of the month of days in which food stamps are distributed as the lines will be longer and parking will be horrible.

Moving from the Bay I do miss FoodsCo & Foodmax those were my go to grocery stores! Winco is just like, except they offer a lot of bulk items at reasonable prices which I enjoy! They do not accept credit cards, so be cash/debit/check/ebt/wic ready when you pay! Large parking lot, carts both inside & out. They have self checkout (15 items or less!) They've got a produce, deli, meats, freezer section, canned goods, cleaning, pet food/items, drinks, etc. The bulk items section has things ranging from candy, nuts, cereal, oats, beans. They've even got a bird & dog food section! How neat. They've got a big deli/seafood section! They carry alot of different types of meat. They just remodeled the freezer section so many more options. They've got 2 water machines and sell the 5 gallons here so that's convenient! This place can get packed, you just have to know what days and times are good to come. Did I mention they have hot food on the way out.. pizzas & fresh lemonade (reg & strawberry!)

Just started coming back to Winco about a month ago now. Love their deli and meats section. I definitely feel as though. We are saving when we come here. And a lot of the times I find things here that I would not find at another grocery. Although always packed it seems to be worth the wait for what we are paying. Store stays clean for the most parked and definitely shelves are well stocked. They have always been specific on the choice of payments. Debit cards cash and EBT only from what I recall. They also have a good little pizza area up front as well.

They removed the pizza meal deal saying that you have to buy all the items individually. Such a scam now.

Pretty upscale market with a nice deli and bakery for this area. I'd say real close to Whole Foods…read morequality and the prices match. But this local indy store has been around in this town for over 55 years, so it is well deserved for them to be a local fave. I only got a sandwich for the road and a bakery item, so no significant grocery shopping. I was traveling back home and didn't have a cooler so I refrained. But next time if I have a cooler, their meat counter will get exercised. Got a Salami Sandwich ($11/4*) from their deli and it was pretty solid. Every sandwich is customized, so every customer fills out a card, checks off your preferences and hand it over to a deli clerk. Nothing out of the ordinary here, just your basic sandwich stuff, but with quality and fresh ingredients. I liked everything in my sandwich, was even to put alfalfa sprouts in it, as I haven't had that option in over a decade. I wished there would have been an option to add oil n vinegar to make it more 'Italian' tasting, so I had to settle on just mayo and mustard, which is more classic American tasting to me. Still a solid sandwich that I was able to eat in 2 intervals so a decent value in my book. Coffee Crunch Cake ($7/3.5*) Very impressive tall cake with a very moist crumb. A little too industrial tasting for me but better than other grocery cakes like Safeway, which taste like plastic to me, so many additives and stabilizers. Cake part had a light chocolate taste, but maybe it was supposed to be more coffee-like? I couldn't taste any coffee except for this super hard and sweet candy on top used for garnish. Indeed that candy offered a 'crunch' element but in a very cloying and awkward way. Sure it was nice and glossy and even resembled shiny coarse stone like obsidian. But to take a bite that big of hard candy to go along a delicate cake was just too extreme for me. I think if that candy were in smaller chunks, more like a crumb texture, it would disperse more sending coffee flavor more evenly and not risk breaking a tooth on that hard sweet candy. I had higher hopes for this. Gawked at their butchers counter and it was pretty darn impressive, Pretty high quality stuff but also insanely expensive. Steaks start at $20 per pound and easily rises double to triple from there. But they got some serious cut steaks here, like 2-3 inch thick cuts and they even have a couple versions of wagyu steaks. Nothing is prewrapped, everything has to go through a clerk. Produce section just meh and regular. Well kept but Safeway may have a more extensive produce section. Dry goods definitely Whole Foods level. They seem to have a guy out front bbqing meats like sausages and tri-tip, like 7 days a week, which is impressive. I got there around 11 am and the employee was just setting up. Otherwise I may have tried something. Cool store, that if this were in my town, I'd be a reg. Since I was just a passing traveler, just call me impressed.

I love to cook, so of course grocery shopping is fun to me. Their house generic goods usually cost a fraction of the price that competitors charge (including the other store that starts with a W!) Make sure to hit up the bulk bins. I bought about 2.5 weeks worth of groceries -- including cheese and some delightful chocolate wafers -- for under $65. I even found some brands and products that I can't easily find in my own area (Contra Costa County.) At checkout time, things move pretty smoothly and efficiently. My checker was friendly and super speedy. I was able to bag up my own groceries out of the way of the next shopper, which I think keeps the lines running quickly. I'll definitely be coming back again!

A lady in front of me had an adorable baby so I complimented her on how beautiful her daughter and said that my biggest dream is being a wife and a mom. Rosemarie looked at me with disgust when I had said that. Then when I paid for my things, I had NO POCKETS so I had to pull the money from my bra and she got disgusted and said "I have to touch that. That's disgusting" and proceeded to put on hand sanitizer in front of me. May I add, I took an hour long shower before leaving my house to be met with horrible, rude, bitter woman. Winco HR please look into her customer service background because I'm pretty sure she has none. She is rude. I'm 24 years old and I have more respect than her. And lady, grow up. You made my day absolutely horrible in the worst way possible.

With curb side- Items were missing from my order a few times, called the customer service number and they refunded it. Not a problem but defeats the purpose of why I ordered it to be picked up by the curb because now I had to make that trip to get the items anyways. Moving along. I placed an order for 3 items online giving them a benefit of the doubt once again to have it delivered at home but to my surprise, these items were scheduled to delivered at 3 separate times, honestly, news to my ears because why would I want 3 different deliveries for one order that was placed together and they were small items to begin with. Had I known this prior, I'd not bother ordering. First item arrived, with no issues. Great. What can go wrong now right? Wrong! 2nd item was delivered past 6pm and was left outside of my apartment complex on the entrance gate. Yes no contact, no phone call from the delivery person whatsoever to even make it to my unit. He just left it there and left. I found out about this particular delivery after, a pic was sent on my phone about it being delivered. I mean, who leaves a package at a gate? Regardless, I walked around the complex, hoping it was still there but of course, someone must have picked it up being it was on the outside of the complex. Frustrated, I reached out to customer service yet again and they refunded my money and this is when I was informed that Walmart uses 3rd party delivery services so, somethings are out of they control but they are sorry for the "inconvenience " Cherry on the cake. I received a text the next day about my last delivery being delayed so I tired to cancel the last item because by now, I had enough of them but then I was hit with "cancellation may not be guaranteed" but "you'll get a response in 48 hours"- so basically they said- "You paid for your item to get it on time" but now, you have to wait for what's convenient for us? Seriously, wth is going on with their online and delivery services? As a customer, who frequently purchases at Walmart being it's close to where i live, I can definitely say I will not be using online anything at Walmart anymore after my last item is delivered. Thanks but no thanks. Way too many issues.
