I was contacted by a man from Bexar care and he tried to lie and claim that I still had business with them which I haven't I have purchased. They never lie machine sometime ago. My doctor gave me a prescription and I got it from HEB Pharmacy . He tried to lie to me and claim that I came in in April and got another machine from them which is an absolute lie. I told him I hope he had a video of it because that's not true and he knows it so I'm still dealing with them and with my insurance company so they can get reimbursement for the money they stole. and what is even more disgusting as the machines cost $35 and they're charging what would be too much the cost of machine and two months rent would pay it off. These people seem totally incompetent. They say I cannot have a nebulizer because I have gotten four nebulizers in the last four years. Um, no. I have had Medicare B pay for four prescriptions for Albuterol to go into a nebulizer. I woman who answered the phone barely spoke English. DO NOT HAVE YOUR DOCTOR USE THESE PEOPLE. These people are not square dealers. Their name should be Bexar DOESN'T Care. My mom has gone immobile and needs a wheelchair. Her insurance referred her to this horrible place. My husband went and picked up the chair. We later found out that the company was supposed to deliver it. We sat my mom in the chair, realized it was too small, and put her back in bed. Never even rolled the chair once. I called, told them the chair was still in new condition, and asked if we could bring the chair back and get a bigger chair, paying the difference between what insurance would pay and the full cost. I was told that the insurance company had to request the change. I was also told the insurance company wouldn't pay for a larger chair unless my mom weighs 300 lbs, which she does not. So, I called the insurance company. The woman at the insurance company asked, "Didn't they come out and measure her?" Uh, no. She called Bexar Care, and was told we couldn't exchange the chair because it had been eight days and the warranty is only good for seven days. He couldn't use the 300 lbs limit with the insurance company, so he came up with a new lie. Weary of dealing with that fool, I dropped it, and we now own an unusable wheelchair. I've had people who know I take care of my mom ask me where to get walkers, bedside commodes, etc. I tell them anywhere except Bexar Care. We will get my mom a chair that fits, but it DEFINITELY will not be from Bexar Care. read more

No surprise that their lobby has been 100% empty on every visit and virtually every visit have received bad information or poor service. On vacation from California and my father's mobility scooter crapped out. We went to several places before while those places were incredibly kind, unfortunately they were unable to help. (I'm sorry to not have caught his name) but he did an amazing job in discovering the issue and made the mobility scooter good as new. When I looked at this stores rating I was very leary of going there. What I found was a young lady that was very helpful. The store I found to be very crowded with equipment. All those that I had contact with were friendly. I purchased a walker that better fit me, but it was only one of two they had that would. If I could give this place no stars I would. I don't even know where to start. This owner and her son, Renee are completely in the wrong business. Rude from moment my grandparents and i walked in. He had a horrible attitude and was treating us so wrongly for no reason. For people coming in with health issues, you'd think they'd care a bit more or be more helpful. This is the complete opposite. Renee was badmouthing an employee at the front desk while we were standing there. Then he asked what we needed and had an attitude of "WHAT DO YOU WANT?" IDK attitude. I was sick to my stomach seeing how he was talking to my granny. I wanted to shout at him, but I wasn't raised that way. I hate that my grandparents or anybody around this man had to deal with such a toxic, ugly person. I honestly think he was on some sort of drugs. We will never return to this place again!! DO NOT USE THEM!!! My doctor sent me to them and they are the worse to deal with. I am normally someone who never writes reviews but the thought of someone's elderly parent or anyone for that matter having to deal with them prompted me to say something. They are SO RUDE. Only the billing lady Jessica is nice. Everyone else will cut you off if you ask any questions. Why are they still in business??? I have asked my doctor to let me use another company because I refuse to deal with them again. So unprofessional. I've seen them speak to other customers the same way. My bf was referred to a different company and he has had a completely different, seamless experience. His refills are sent automatically and without coat. This place you have to call them. I then got the wrong mask and when I called to let them know they were so awful about it. Also required me to go in person to exchange it never mind that it was their error. No apology. But it's this way no matter what is happening. Every single time I have had to speak to them or had a question they are so incredibly unprofessional. read more

This company does not deserve any stars. They brought a hospital bed with a mattress that I wouldn't let my pets sleep on much less my sick child. It's a glorified air mattress of the absolute lowest quality. When they brought the bed they forgot 2 other items that were ordered by her doctor. One of the items, the bedside commode was brought the next day but the shower chair was forgot a 2nd time. When asked about it, they advised that when they had additional orders in the area, then they could bring our shower chair, otherwise, I would need to go pick it up myself. I inquired as to whether or not they are a full service delivery company and Rene said, yes they are... clearly that's a false claim as we've been waiting almost a month for the shower chair. Rene did not give sh% when I called and cared even less when I had the insurance call them directly. read more

My respiratory therapist (RT), Angela is really to be commended for her exemplary customer service. Angela is knowledgeable in the various products and knows what to present as options for the patient/customer to choose. Terrible customer service. Be your own best advocate, as their employees will not be on your side. Went to this establishment to get a custom nighttime garment for lymphedema. I inquired about insurance coverage and they stated they would help to verify coverage, known as a pre-determination. After about 4 months of back and forth, they told me that would not help with insurance because too many were getting denied. This was after three employees telling me three different stories. I went to a national online retailer who is in network. Within a week they verified coverage and offered me a garment that fit my needs. read more

I am totally disable with Muscular Dystrophy. I requested a patient lift about a year ago, to date no lift. I have also tried to get batteries for my electric wheelchair for more then two month and have not gotten it yet. I call cleto in his cell to see if we could resolve the problem no response from cleto or Joseph. So I ask to talk to someone in charge and they connected me with Rene who was very uncaring in a cold and callous way about my situation. read more

Pathetic service . I ordered my mother a hospital bed but was not delivered on the promised date and was told a slew of lies about the delivery.It was delivered two days late after I called and profusely complained. I was visiting my elderly mother and was on a time crunch. They finally delivered it after I called many times to try and get the order expedited .Ruben was my only contact that seemed to understand my dilemma and was finally able to expedite the delivery of the bed for me. I am happy now and the bed is great for my mother but it was just a lot of aggravation to deal with for a simple solution .Once the order was delivered the service was great. read more

Horrible customer service! Went in to help my 88 year old parents buy bathroom safety equipment. We bought a support bar for the tub and were unsure about the measurement and wether it would fit. The salesman, Rene, assured us we could return it the next business day if it didn't fit. He never mentioned the 15% restocking fee that was posted on small signs in the store. He knew we were coming back because we needed to purchase a bath seat that was not returnable and I wanted to make sure we had the correct size before purchasing the seat and I only got the bar based on his reassurance that it could be returned. This restocking fee is a great business model for ripping off elderly or disabled customers! Shame on them. Save yourself a bad experience and shop elsewhere. read more
