Had a great experience - short, brief, but still very detailed. This was my first time dealing with a CPAP machine, and I had no idea what to expect. I believe Juan Ramirez (JR) helped me out and honestly did a great job being efficient while still thorough. He asked if I had any questions, walked me through a checklist of key topics, and made sure I had the correct mask size. Overall, a great place - I felt like a valued patient, and the employees I interacted with were friendly and knowledgeable. It is hard to think of a way this business could be run worse... One thing they did was not send any cpap supplies for a year, despite my many calls. they were supposed to be sent quarterly, and no one ever called me back. Do you know how nasty a cpap mask gets after not being changed for 11 months? I finally drove 185 miles to their office to talk to someone in person and mentioned I would bring a film crew next time. 10 FEB - follow up. Got the number for the Director of Operations for them from my provided and left her a message. Had a nice discussion and she said she'd look into it. About 20 mins later got a call from the Billing manager and we had what I'd call a 1st rate quality care discussion as a customer. Andrew was kind, understanding and very helpful. he took care of all issues and was going to look into the actions leading up to the below review. The DO, even though on maternity leave, was engaged, supportive and interested to make sure the experience was not repeated. Seems the leadership from the Operational side is fine and is on track to make things right. For that reason, I will upgrade my rating to a 3. Will return in 6 months to let you know how it goes, I really think by the end of that time, I'd recommend them to everyone I know. we'll see. 9 FEB Just started with this company in Jan for supplies. Complete amatures and ZERO customer service. I should have known from the attitude of then gentleman when I picked up the machine. 1 - they could not fullfil the order on the day of pick up for the 1st 3months - said they send it later. here it is a month and a week later and the initial supplies haven't ship. 2 - Web site is non functional for registration. Can get through step 1, but no way to complete step 2 - there hasn't been a issuance of a Patient Code yet and there is NO TECH support for log in issues. 3 - Contact to 'customer service' is a joke, leave a message with 2 agents expect a call back in 24 hours - 36 hours still no call back. 3 - Contact to Corporate - sorry we don't work customer service and they don't have access to client list. If you are someone who happens to get service, glad for you - they did seem to have wide selection of mask types. Value was a bit pricey, higher end of range - something that would lead you to believe the customer service would be great - not so. Given the experience I've had - should be 40-60% lower in price. Well, things have changed at Texas Home Medical since my "initial" appointment... for the better, much better! After considerable effort and waiting, I scheduled an appointment with another technician, Jan Payton. Ms. Payton was great! Which is the reason for my update review. She made me feel very comfortable and valued as a customer. She teased it out of me, my first experience and later advised management of the problems in my initial visit. Jan helped me select a new mask and headgear that was more appropriate to my needs. I was happy. I received a call several weeks later from management regarding my initial fitting experience. I believe her name was Amy. She advised that they were made aware of other customers with similar reports regarding my initial technician. After investigation and action, he is no longer working at THM. I replied, it was not my intention to remove the man but to correct behavior. Amy was super professional, charitable, and sweet... and offered anything she could do to help me. So I asked if I could get another appointment with Ms. Payton because even though my new mask and headgear were better, I thought there was room for improvement. Amy graciously agreed and scheduled an appointment. Thank you! I brought my wife to the appointment and met with Jan Payton the following week and had a good visit while fitting for improved headgear. She said it is not uncommon for patients to try a few pieces until the right fit is obtained. THM mentioned that after they were made aware of my bad initial visit (and other customers), they had noticed my review here and took it seriously to investigate and resolve the problems. I give them huge kudos for that!! My experience at Texas Home Medical has been a complete, 180 degree, turn-around from that initial meeting! The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that when I tried to get a refitting appointment after my initial experience, it could have been a less painful process to schedule and shorter wait time than I encountered. Otherwise, I can honestly report that THM has earned my trust and appreciation since my initial visit. Wow! They really do care. I now give them a grade of A! read more

My encounter with Texas Home Medical was the worst medical experience I have encounter in 60 years. Mr. Roger Gonzales tried to con me into accepted a ResMed 10 instead of the ResMed 11 I was supposed to get. I requested a ResMed mask, but was given another kind. He indicated that if I called back in 10 days I would receive another mask. I called 3 days later and have yet to receive a viable mask 3 months later. I would not recommend that anyone consider THM for any CPAP supplies. read more

The folks here are friendly, but that's about where the good things I have to say ends. I'm a long time CPAP user so I am a pretty easy customer who knows what works. I basically replaced my old system with a newer version of the same model. The first time they gave me a mask that was defective. Upon replacing that they gave me a supply of nose pillows but the ones they gave me do not fit the mask, they're for something else. My insurance changed and now I can no longer use this provider, but I'd be looking for someone else anyway after my experience. read more

Greg made a call to my home because I am recovering from surgery and could not drive to Pasadena for a service visit. In twenty years of using CPAP he is the best sleep technician who has helped me with a set up or a problem. He was very knowledgeable and patient to listen to my concerns. I was very satisfied with his service. Also I order CPAP supplies through THM and have been satisfied with their reorder process and service. read more

I keep getting bills for things that have already been paid for and It's impossible to get any response from this place. I have made numerous calls and all you get is an answering machine that tells you to leave your name and number for a callback that never happens. I am taking my business elsewhere and recommend you do the same! Run! What a joke! read more

This place charged me over $230 when insurance said they shouldn't have charged me at all. After I called them multiple times asking them to refund me, they still haven't done it. Avoid them at all costs. read more

I am a pediatrician who went to get a Cpap to this place. I paid for it and was told that I had a zero balance. They just sent me a bill 12 months later with the excuse that it took that long to run it through the insurance company. I am a physician and I know the insurance companies have deadlines to pay much earlier than that. I asked for the explanation of benefit and they refuse to fax it to me even though that it can be done without Breaking Hippa regulations. I had to call twice because the first time they hang up on me while I was on hold for 10 min. I do not like to be told that all is paid in full and then see another bill no matter how big or little the bill may be. I will not send my patients or go myself to such on professional place as the billing department. The billing department affects my patient and/or myself. I recorded my last conversation just incase because they reassured me all is paid now. read more
