I do agree that they are taking advantage of female and senior too. I had my leased vehicle with them and was under finance. After i had returned the vehicle, I checked my contract and found that I was charged $455 for these maintenance services maintenance services that was incorporated into the monthly payments. I was told when I signed the contract that I had two complimentary services for this vehicle!! We have the same year and same model vehicle 2022 Mazda CX-30 and took the vehicle to the same dealer in Stafford Madza and was only charged $118 for services!! I felt it was a ripoff, especially when I was told these two maintenance services were complimentary!! At the end of the lease, I received an invoice about owing Property Tax and I was not told about this and to my understanding the monthly payments would cover all expenses for this vehicle!! read more

Bought a new Mazda 6 few months ago form Beyer Mazda Winchester VA. 4-5 weeks after noticed that front, rear windshield and all side glass are full of sandy glitter like sparkles when hit directly by the sun to the extent that it partially limits visibility. Brought the vehicle back to the dealership where they acknowledged the defect and said they will contact Mazda under warranty. It has been more than 3 months and no one from Beyer Mazda contacted me. Tried to call several times to ask for service or dealership manager. Response is always that they are in a meeting or out of office and will call back. No one ever called back. They will be very nice and helpful with you until you buy your car and give them the good feedback, but you are on your own after that. I would definitely not recommend this dealership to anyone. I am currently trying to resolve my issue through Mazda USA. read more

Went in for oil change and tire rotation for a 2023 Mazda with only 17,000 miles. This was 3rd oil change and each time had them rotate the tires. Yesterday, they stated my tires were showing some wear they stated I needed a front end alignment which I agreed to. Thinking they know best, since I am a female and don't know much about vehicles. Took the car home afterwards and my son and husband both looked at the tires and stated that I had no wear or tear at all on the tires. I only drive vehicle 3 times a week on interstate only. I felt like I was taken advantage of at the dealership. Wondering how many other females they are doing this too. read more

I reached out to Beyer Mazda Tuesday morning and spoke with Bud. I knew the exact car I wanted and he made me an appointment for it that afternoon. When we got there it was pulled, no pressure to look into other models, and paperwork was prepped. We were through everything within 2 1/2 hours which is pretty reasonable with current COVID procedures. Bud and everyone else we encountered was extremely friendly and efficient. He took the time to answer all my questions and followed up this Thursday to make sure I was happy with everything. This is my second Mazda CX-5, and in the case anything happens, I wouldn't hesitate to get my next one from this dealership also. read more

Brought our 2016 CX-9 in because the right rear brake was getting glowing hot. They said it needed new brakes. They also said that the front brakes were down to 4/32", and that it wouldn't pass state inspection/needed to be replaced. I went to replace the front brakes myself as seen in the picture, the brakes are at twice the amount they had stated. Don't take your car here even for warranty work. read more

I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. I took my 2016 Mazda CX-5 to Beyer Mazda a few weeks ago to have two recalls repaired. At the time, my car entertainment system was also not working at all so I asked if they could take a look at it. When I picked up my vehicle from what should have been a no cost recall repair, I was charged a $120 diagnostic fee for the radio diagnosis. Which involved a tech sitting in my car playing with the radio controls for a few minutes. I asked about this and was told by the service manager that if I wanted my keys back I would pay the fee. He also informed me that if I never wanted to go back there again that was "my choice". Great customer service. I was also informed that the issue was with my electric board and that it would need to be replaced, costing well over $500. I was frustrated when picking up the vehicle and told them I would get a second opinion. Fast forward a few weeks to today when my car wouldn't start. I took it to Advance Auto Parts to have the battery tested and replaced. After determining that my battery was dead and replacing it, like magic my radio works just like new with no issues. These people are scam artists and will take your money if you let them. The service manager was the rudest person I've ever dealt with at a business. I am furious that I paid $120 for a 5 minute diagnosis, but even more mad at the thought of potentially paying $500 for something that didn't need to be replaced. Beware! Purchased a used vehicle that was definitely "presented" as in good shape. Test drive was seemingly okay, and showed a recent inspection sticker that was good. Asked the salesman if there was anything I should know about the vehicle so I'm not surprised later and he said no, that it was a great vehicle with no work that's needed. I specifically asked about the brakes and he said they were good and even referenced the sticker on the windshield that showed they were good. Fast forward a couple weeks and come to find out, it needs a new exhaust and all new rotors and brakes. Not sure what they did to hide the exhaust and brake issues but it worked enough to fool us. Asked the mechanic if there's any way the issues happened after the car was inspected and he said absolutely not, that the car definitely passed "inspection" with these issues. Not surprised since all salesman want that sale but definitely will not recommend purchasing a used car from Beyer. read more

In September, I visited Don Beyer Mazda in Winchester in regard to a touch screen warranty extension on the Mazda3 model. I was advised upon their confirming that the vehicle did in fact have the problem as described in the letter that there was a back-order on the replacements as they (Mazda USA) had not anticipated the number of vehicles that would have the issue that was notified out. I called back a couple months later, and was advised that there was still a back-order and they were looking at possible "repair options". Fast forward to Febraury, I have called three more times, and was told "they'd leave a message for the service advisor" or transferred to a voicemail, and have not been called back. I honestly think this sounds like Mazda is trying to let the problem sit past the time they said they'd honor it, and was very dissatisfied about the lack of call back from this dealership. I have since happily traded my Mazda 3 for a Subaru. Best of luck to you all and best of luck to anyone else unfortunate enough to deal with the touchscreen issue that Mazda3 models issued from 2014-16 seem to have had, I do NOT miss dealing with it at all. read more
