They were able to schedule the work as soon as the next day, and were extremely friendly and easy to work with over the phone. I was texted a reminder prior to my appointment. When I arrived to drop the car off they directed me into their drive-through service area for a valet type drop off - no worrying about finding a spot to leave my car. Amy was friendly and efficient while checking me in, and made sure I didn't need a loaner. The work was begun on time, and they even checked for any other recalls. When they were finished Chuck Mason called and explained all the work that was done. Picking the car up was just as fast and organized. I'm pretty sure they even washed the car. It sure looked cleaner than before. So far the air conditioner they repaired is working well, and I would recommend the service department at CMA Subaru to anyone.

When I went to pick up my Vehicle I was told all work was completed and I was good to go. I drove home that night with no Problem. I live about 40 miles one way from my job. This is important. Because the next day which was a Friday I went to work at my normal time without issue but when I got back into Winchester where I live that evening... My vehicle started making a loud noise and cut off in the middle of traffic which could have been an accident but luckily there was no accident. When I called the dealership back again the interaction was very pleasant they asked me to have the vehicle towed into the dealership and if I remember correctly they paid for the tow. Now this is where it gets bad. upon them looking into my car they couldnt figure out what was wrong with it. I was then asked to pay to have the motor broken down to see where the issue was coming from and I would be reimbursed from the warranty company... I did so as I stated before I had no issues before now. Again there was no loner car for me to borrow and the following day I was asked to bring in receipts of all oil changes I have had done to the car since I had it. I am a creature of habit so I go to the same places most of the time for my maintenance so it wasnt that hard to find the informaition needed. But there was a gap in the middle of the time that i had my car... Meaning these arent exact numbers but i had receipts from 40k mile to 85k mile then there was a gap i then had receipts from 92k to 107k miles. In reality i think it was a 4k gap honestly but just for the sake of this review these are the numbers I had and again THERE WAS NO ISSUE WITH THE CAR IT ONLY WENT IN FOR A RECALL ISSUE. jUST TO EMPHASIZE. I was later then told the car didn't have oil in it and i could have the engine replaced and what I would need to pay to have that done. Now remember they took the motor apart to fix the recall issue and put it back together... but apparently didnt put oil in it when i got it back so i then the next day drove almost 100 miles for the engine to seize on me for there being no oil in the engine... and thats where the left it... told me i can come and pick up my vehicle and i only had so may days before i would be charged a storage fee for it being left there... I havent been back since!!

Unfortunately, this has been one of the worst vehicle purchases I have ever made. Immediately after leaving the dealership and getting onto the interstate to drive home, the check engine light came on. The vehicle also produced a large amount of white smoke from the exhaust for about 30 seconds, which concerned me about the condition of the engine. I contacted the dealership and brought the Jeep back. The owner turned off the check engine light, but the light came back on less than a week later. The underlying problem was clearly not fixed. Less than a month and a half after purchasing the vehicle, the starter failed. Since then, the Jeep has been sitting in a repair shop while I have been fighting with the warranty company over major engine problems. The issues have become so serious that an entire engine replacement is being discussed. As of June 17, 2026, I am still dealing with the aftermath of this purchase. Instead of enjoying the vehicle I paid for, I've spent months dealing with breakdowns, repairs, warranty claims, and the stress of not having a reliable vehicle. I understand that used vehicles can develop problems, but a check engine light coming on immediately after purchase, the vehicle smoking from the exhaust, the light returning after being cleared, and major mechanical failures within weeks of purchase are not what I expected. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage potential buyers to have any vehicle thoroughly inspected by an independent mechanic before purchasing from this dealership
