Made me very uncomfortable. When I told Ramona I was unemployed, she suggested that I apply for financing anyway and lie about how long I had worked at my previous job in order to improve my chances of approval. That felt extremely shady and unprofessional. I was surprised that an employee would encourage a customer to provide false information on a financing application. On top of that, the finance manager had a payoff amount for my vehicle that was completely different from the payoff amount shown on my bank statement. When I pointed out the discrepancy and asked about it, he refused to look into it and simply said, "That's what the numbers say." There was no effort to verify the information or explain why the amounts were different. I also asked for my keys to my car multiple times and she would not hand them over until I had to snatch them off of the table and then she acted as if we were out of control and became very rude very fast. Overall, the experience left me with serious concerns about the professionalism and integrity of this dealership (that have now been reported), and I would not feel comfortable doing business here. read more

Poor service! For one they canceled my free lifetime oil changes after 2 years. said it was profitable...what? Had tires rotated only to figure out it was never done but form says it was. Never got an explanation but someone had to check off they did it. They acted like it was no big deal so does this happen all the time? Hagerstown is so much better and trustworthy. read more

I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience with Winchester Mitsubishi. I spoke with a salesperson on the phone and we clearly agreed on a selling price for a vehicle. Based on that agreement, I drove almost two hours in very bad weather with my entire family to visit the dealership. When we arrived, they suddenly presented a new price that was $10,000 higher than what we had already agreed on. Instead of honoring the conversation, they claimed that "someone else sent that message," avoiding responsibility. Their manager also did not take any accountability or try to resolve the situation professionally. The most upsetting part was how easily they gave conflicting information right in front of us, after we made such an effort to come there. This experience felt very misleading and disrespectful of our time and trust. I strongly recommend that anyone considering this dealership get everything clearly documented and be very cautious before making a long trip. read more

I drove 100 miles to check on a used 2023 BMW listed on their website for $67k. When we got to actually talking numbers they had added $3995 for an extended warranty, paint protection and some other crap I didn't want. Their website has a blurb that states: "All advertised vehicle prices exclude tax, title, license, registration, a $999 dealer processing fee, and dealer-installed options, including but not limited to ECP Protection Packages, GPS, Windshield Guard, and Tire/Wheel Protection." So the fine print on those "dealer installed options" was $4000! That's just shady BS and another reason I try to avoid dealerships. And the guy said they are only making $320 on the sale if I paid their price. Flat out lie. That's also total BS as their website had already increased the price on the car by $1000 as it's been sitting on their lot for 40 days. Quit being shady and list your unwanted "dealer installed options" along with the price CLEARLY IN THE AD so buyers don't waste their time. read more

Hands-down the worst car-buying trip of my life. I drove from Alexandria to Winchester for a "fully inspected" used car. First lie: their 170-point checklist. Next, they demanded my SSN to check leasing, then claimed I needed a cosigner--yet I could buy without one. Red flag #1. They pulled my credit 18 times, then rolled out the car: dash lights blazing like Times Square. Asked why they sell obvious lemons, the sales director blamed "that new AI" for auto-listing trade-ins. Red flag #2. I asked how long repairs would take; he shrugged, "We don't do mechanical stuff," and casually admitted they lease used cars after all. Red flag #3; I was done. Leaving, they pushed an even older clunker, ran my credit again without consent, and admitted it was also unserviced. It was now 8 p.m.--an hour past closing--and I hadn't driven a single inch. I went here to buy a Mitsubishi Outlander. It was almost an hour drive so I wanted to make sure I could get an accurate quote everything included, beforehand. They were willing to provide. I made sure to ask if it includes EVERYTHING (title, destination fee). He said yup, that's your final cash price without tax. So I drove out there. Did a test drive. Looked it all over and said yeah I think I'll buy. That's when the dealer turns around and says "great! There's just one little thing: it's an extra 1500$ for these LED bulbs and these plastic stickers under the doors". "Can we get rid of them?" "Nope" "Why did you lie to me?" "It must've been some other guy, sorry, no idea what you're talking about" I bought it anyway cause I didn't feel like wasting another whole day with possibly a similar result. Wasn't even going to write a review, but it just keeps getting worse. Went in for their "free oil change and car wash". They wasted an hour then came back with neither. Told me it doesn't have enough miles to need oil change. I was like "your powertrain warranty says I must change every 6 months or lose it". "Fine, you can wait another hour and we will do it" (Didn't get the free wash). Finally, he said loan is a simple interest, and I won't get penalized for paying early. My wife and I had started about a week ago looking for a new SUV. There are three SUV's that we put on our list to look at. Her and I agreed that we really liked the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander. We looked at vehicles on Cargurus. We test drove one at a local dealership and got a quote. She put an inquiry on an Outlander at Winchester Mitsubishi. She was contacted by Taylor a sales person with the dealership. My wife had told Taylor that we have a good deal in hand. Taylor said and and promised her that if we come to the dealership that they will give us more for our trade and will be any other dealers. My wife told her that we would be coming about 110 miles away and please don't waste our time and gas.Taylor assured her that it would be worth our time. When we got to the dealership, A salesman by the name Tarek met us. My wife asked for Taylor. The rep said she was their internet sales representative, and he could help us. We told him that we were interested in a new 2024 Outlander SE or SEL and it needed to be AWD. Tarek was very nice, but made a mistake. He pulled a 2024 Outlander SE that was a FWD. we took that one on a test drive. When we got back from the test drive, we decided to move forward. We asked for the sales numbers for the deal. When we got the numbers, the appraised number for the trade was $3,700 less than we had gotten from another dealer, and $3,500 less than we had got from a second dealer. When we asked about the trade the salesman said that is what the manager put on our trade. We told the salesman what we had gotten and showed the text to him from Taylor. We also discussed the price of the Outlander. I told the salesman that you have not given any discount off the MSRP of the vehicle. He said yes it was $2,500. I told him that was rebates from Mitsubishi nothing from the dealership. The rep asked if he could get the manager to match the trade if we would do the deal. I told the rep that we would need to see the numbers. The salesman came back with the trade bumped to $3,500 which was still less than the best number we had gotten on the trade. We showed the rep the sales quote that we had gotten from the dealership that gave us the higher trade value and discounted the MSRP. I told the representative that, along with they had not moved off the MSRP. The salesman said that there was not a lot of markup in the Outlander. I told the rep we had talked to two other dealers that have discounted their car. The rep responded that those dealers would be losing money. We decided to leave because we were not getting a deal that Taylor had promised. My wife was upset she sent Taylor a text message about how she wasted our day and how disappointed we were with her. The sales manager then texted my wife. He claimed that he didn't know we had a deal in hand. She told him that was on the salesman, and the salesman had told us that he told the manager. He came back and said he would be the deal by $500. I told my wife then, we caught them in lies. We went to get some lunch. I looked at reviews for Winchester Mitsubishi on Yelp, and Google. I saw several posts that I became more unlikely to do business with this dealership. After reading them and discussing with my wife, we decided that we would never go back to Winchester Mitsubishi. While Tarek pulled the wrong vehicle for us to test drive, we did like him. The next day she got a message from the internet manager asking what did they miss yesterday in trying to complete a deal. My wife told her what happened and that her and I discussed the situation after we had left and that I had read reviews about Winchester Mitsubishi and decided this was a place that we would not ever to do business with. This is the first dealership that I have visited that the Sales Manager didn't introduce himself to me, and ask what can we do as a dealership to make a deal. Colleen offered us beverages an had the vehicle brought right up for us to have a look. She answered all of our questions an made us feel very comfortable in the buying process. After the test drive, the purchasing process was breeze. Ms Simpson walked me through each step in a professional manner an made sure i understood each form i was signing. I also liked that Ms Simpson took the time to give me a tour of the service area, an explained the lifetime warranty they offered on select vehicles. I went here on Saturday, Oct. 3 2020 for a sales event. No matter your credit, what you owed on your current vehicle, or how many miles on your vehicle, you could trade your old vehicle for a new one for $250 down and $250 a month. Spoke with salesman Justin, who took my info, and they set into making this deal. While waiting, they asked for my wife's name and said with both names we could get a joint loan which would make it easier to find a bank. They also gave me a pamphlet to apply for a small loan to take care of the $250 down. The pamphlet was for VA residences and when I told them I was from WV they said to just make up a VA address because they did this all the time and the company never really paid attention to this. I told them I could make the initial payment so they took my credit card to make the initial payment. (Found out they only took 200 instead of the 250.) After over 5 hours of waiting, they said they had finished everything and would be taking my Kia Soul as the trade. I signed all the papers then drove away in our new vehicle. Two ladies that worked there followed me to where I was picking up my wife so she could sign her papers. They never went over anything, just pointed where she had to sign. They said congrats, told us the signed papers would be emailed to us and they left. We never got an email. The following Monday, they came from the business to take my new car back to VA to get it inspected and detailed (no detail done and ran the car down to almost empty on gas.) I received a text from Justin that they brought my Kia Soul back to me because the owner of the business wasn't using it for a trade. The owner then said to just let the bank take it back as a repo; which will screw up my credit. Over the next weeks, numerous phone calls and emails were sent to this business and no-one answered. We did get our first payment in the mail and it's almost $600 a month instead of $250! Yesterday, my wife was talking to a friend about this situation and the friend called the business. When she finally got through to them (after being hung up on numerous times) they told her that we signed the papers. However, the papers I signed for the $250 down and $250 a month have now suddenly disappeared. They said that my wife was the one who got the car and her papers have the payments more than doubled. So they illegally got my wife's SSN and stuff and ran everything through in her name. My wife doesn't drive and has no job so how can she be approved for a new vehicle much less pay for one? When our friend asked to speak to the salesperson Justin, they said he no longer worked there. He was fired because he sided with us and knew the business had screwed us over and was trying to help us! She was then told the manager has been trying to get in touch with my wife because he would make a deal with us. He'd take the old vehicle but only give us what they thought it was worth. Any difference left would be added to our already super high payment. And they were sending the signed papers via email again. No phone calls or emails have ever come through. This is absolutely absurd! They breached the contract as soon as they were making it up! My wife and I both have contacted the BBB and a lawyer about this. They need to admit they are in the wrong and take the old vehicle as stated in the sales event. Our payments should also be adjusted to the $250 a month. We are not the only ones they have scammed. Another couple we know were there the same day I was. They were sold a vehicle as well and got their first statement. Their monthly payment is over $700! That's almost triple of what the $250 a month sales event was to be. There are countless reports of bad service, lies, etc. about this business. I wish I had seen them before I made the mistake of going there. This business need to be investigated at once and shut down if needed. I took in my car for the first services they said they changed the oil, then said I refuse to have them rotate my tires or any other thing I just called because my screen went out and the services manager started telling me a bunch of LIES why my screen is not working this is real bad to do as a company when you are talking to a mechanical / electrical engineer you can blow smoke up someone but just not mine. THE WORST DEALERSHIP IN HISTORY‼ I wish I could give this place negative stars. So I'be been searching for a specific car because a couple friends of mine owned the car (Kia Cadenza) and they had nothing but rave reviews. So this dealership kept coming up. I called them up and spoke to a female in Business Development and she told me that I should make an appointment. I did that and ended up missing my appointment. I called in to reschedule but I dedicated to fill out the credit application after the young lady sent the link to my phone. A couple days later they called me to tell me I was approved. So I drove 105 Miles from my house to the dealership. When I got there I met with Katie who I think works in Sales. After I sit down she tells me that I have to fill out a credit application??? I was under the impression I did that the previous week??? She said it was a pre approval so said ok and did what was asked. Later on she comes back to me saying car was high mileage and that might affect my loan ??? which I already knew because I did my homework. Later on she says they might not approve my loan because the car was only $15,500, at that point my antennas go up because why is she trying to be so negative? She then comes and asks me for a coborrower which I don't know I needed so I made a few calls and got a person. We filled out the necessary paperwork and she brings it to the back. My coborrower had a lock on his credit which he gladly removed. She (Katie) informed me that it may put another day on the proceedings because the credit agencies won't be able to access my coborrower information until 24 hours later. About an hour later she(Katie) comes to me and hands me the paper with my credit information and another with my coborrowers information. She tells me she will contact me the next day which was a Tuesday. I leave with the impression that it's the lock on my co borrower credit that causing a hiccup. Tuesday no call, Wednesday no call, Thursday no call. So i call them Thursday and they give me her voicemail so I leave her a voicemail. She (Katie) never called me back. I call them Friday and they are still trying to send me to voicemail but I call back and speak to someone and they act as if she's not there but the first person said she was there. After all of that I realized THIS WAS THE ABSOLUTE WORST CAR DEALERSHIP IVE EVER BEEN INVOLVED WITH‼ The worst experience ever. You couldn't pay me to deal with these people again!! Katie is super unprofessional and egotistical. A simple phone call and some transparency would of done the job. read more

Yelp says "Not Good," I say TERRIBLE. At the end of a long day, Tarek Madi shrewdly presented me with two bad choices of cars, one used, one new. The strategy was to make me choose SOMETHING, instead of walking away, which I should have done. I chose the new car, and by the time I arrived home, knew that I hated the car. I called them the next morning, about fourteen hours later, told them I hated the car, and did not want it. Tarek said he would call back after telling the manager. He called minutes later and said there was nothing I could do, was stuck with the car. After 14 hours? Really? I called the manager who said there was a clause, not in my papers, called a "No cooling off" period (in violation of FTC guidelines) and sorry. Tarek obviously knew this when he offered to "ask his manager." It is a scam. I despise those employees for lying. I hate the vehicle. I hate the transaction, and am sorry I went to that dealer. If this is the type of dealer the Mitsubishi parent company sanctions, I will never consider anything in their product line again. Ever. They also charged me (7%) seven percent sales tax on the contract when Virginia charges 4 and 1/2 percent. They could not explain the discrepancy. DO NOT PATRONIZE. They are liars through omission. Furthermore, if Tarek or Patrick ever work for another dealer I may patronize, I will inform their manager I am walking out of that dealer because I have first hand knowledge of their dishonesty. I regret walking in this dealership. If allowed to stand, this is probably the worst financial transaction I have ever made! I have contacted Mitsubishi North America, the Federal Trade Commission, and the state of Virginia Attorney General. To say I am very dis-satisfied is the understatement of 2023. I suggest you don't buy a vehicle from their used car lot...my granddaughter wanted her first car so I took her there...she found one she liked very much but just found out they lied about several things...they were supposed to change the oil...they didn't...the gas gauge does not work but was not told...needs a fuel pump...needs an O2 sensor...the air bag sensor is lite and not told to us...so it will not pass inspection...this was not indicated as well...they were supposed to detail the vehicle but did not...the sales person was smoking during our appointment and was not prepared for us at the appointed time knowing nothing about the car...should have just walked out at that moment...he was very condescending...do not buy a vehicle from them. read more

Tiffany confirmed each time that the terms of the deal included everyone no matter credit type. So I drive my daughter 2 hours to find out she was lied too. Scott Henderson, Christa Pellot, and a guy name Raphael sold me a vehicle told me they would cut a check for half of my monthly payments for six months after the deal was funded, they cut a check $1,000 dollars short of what I had agreed and are all saying that I am wrong! Unfortunately I didn't get it in writing and didn't think I needed to. Horrible deal, sat in there for half of a day just to get a deal made and turned out they screwed me over. Be careful with these people if you choose to buy from them I highly recommend you choose another dealership! GM told me to take it to court without even knowing the situation!! read more

After driving an hour to their location the salesman told me the one I wanted had probably sold because he didn't see it on the lot (he was too lazy to go look it up) and it ended up actually being available. After finding another I was interested in, they tried to give me crazy interest rates and attempted to tell me my monthly payment would be ridiculously high that it would have been accurate for a car over $10,000 more than the one I was looking at. I left and came back the next day after placing a deposit on a vehicle only to have the price raised by $1000 and they proceeded to say the lower price online was "due to a computer glitch" and they would not be honoring the lower price as discussed the day before. Asked for my money back and left with nothing. Waste of time. Have never dealt with such dishonest crooks. They put low prices online and then attempt to scam you by lying to you.
