This was such a bad experience. We had a party reservation for 12pm and arrived 25 minutes early. We knew we wouldn't be able to set up until 15 minutes ahead of the party time, so I wanted to check in and see if anything was needed and where we would be setting up once the time came. No one was at the front desk and there was a note to call a number if no one was available. I called, no answer. At 20 minutes until start time I went in when I saw someone working the desk. I spoke with her and she advised it was her first time working a party and she wasn't sure of the procedure. She walked me to an area and said I think this is where you'll be. I asked if we could set up at the tables and she said she didn't know. The bathroom was locked she said she would have to check and see how to get in. She said everyone there needed to fill out a waiver. I asked if just the swimmers should do that and their parents. She said every person in the building needed one. I said typically a waiver of liability is just for the swimmers or participants and she said "don't be difficult about it - I was told everyone needed them so just fill them out". She then walked away. Ad guests began to arrive she advised everyone should rinse before entering the pool. The kids did and one jumped in. It was 11:53 and the party was scheduled from 12-2. She said everyone out of the pool - it's not your party time yet. We had them get out and wait. The lady then advised she was also doing therapy in another area and was working double duty and went to another room. The toilet in the restroom looked rotten and guests were not able to use it. I messaged the owner and asked for a call back. I advised of the difficulty we'd had and my frustration. He said, "I'm sorry for the hiccup- I thought she'd be smoother than that". He said it was a hectic weekend bc of the holiday and many people were out of town. We had no more contact with the woman from check in until she showed back up while my daughter was opening gifts at 1:44 and said the next party had already arrived so we needed to be sure we wrapped up soon and were out by 2. The kids swam and had fun regardless - because they're kids, but this was so stressful and miserable as the parent and party host. We will never, ever return to this business. If you're on the fence about planning a party here- don't waste your time or money. read more

What a great little hidden gem. We started at beyond aquatics with a "mommy and me class" I remember reaching out to Kelsey Lowder asking if it'd be weird being the only Dad. There wasn't and we were welcomed in. Fast forward to today and my daughter is 6 or so lessons in with Kelsey doing 1 on 1. The confidence my daughter has in the pool is remarkable and that's because she trusts Kelsey 100%. There's something about Kelsey that is relaxing and reassuring, she truly has a gift of presence. My daughter has extreme attachment to mom and I but she goes running to Kelsey lol. If Kelsey decided one day to start teaching chess I'd sign up our daughter because thats the kind of teacher she is. read more

The instructor was great, but the place smells like pot due to the owners CBD business. My husband and I were there for a water safety lesson for our 16 month old. The smell was so strong it gave my husband and I headaches...needless to say, not a smell we want our toddler to become accustomed to! read more

Took my 3.5 year old here for his first private swim lesson today. The facility has a very laidback vibe and it is nice that there are not a ton of other people around -- there was a hydrotherapy session going on in the pool at the same time but that was it. Most of all I was impressed by our instructor, Logan, who has a really nice way with children. My child trusted being with her immediately and was happy and engaged the entire 30 min lesson, which is saying a lot for a toddler. The private lessons aren't cheap but I'm glad we found Beyond Aquatics. We'll be coming back for more lessons. read more

I stopped in to see the owner to give him his keys back. He had a bad attitude saying oh people stop coming in the summer time. I tried to explain my wife and I have some life things going on. He did not seem to care and just got up and walked away from the desk leaving me sitting their. So I left. We won't be back. I did not even get a chance to tell him we wanted to pay as we go. instead of paying a monthly fee. We enjoyed our time their. donated money to his cause he was doing. I guess that did not matter? Another Gem found vía Groupon. This place has two heated pools and a hydro bed. I had a 60 minute hydro bed massage. A) 30 minutes is more than enough and B) it takes a few minutes to get use to both the noise and the actual massage. Then it's smooth sailing seriously once you get use to it you can have the best nap ever! EVER! I got there early and met Michael - who was probably one of the most attentive, friendly & helpful I've ever met in an establishment. No worries he said - I'll show you the facilities and then you can enjoy the health fair we are having! Sounds great - first things first the place feels homey and is clean. They were getting ready to set up for a pool party! Note my 41st Birthday I WANT A POOL PARTY! All in all this was a great experience and worth both the money spent and the drive from Nashville. It was very disappointing of a massage. It was hot with the water and even with the intensity up as high as it could go, didn't feel the slightest bit of relief. Would not recommend. Get a real massage by a person if you want relief of pressure and tension. read more

H3O is wonderful!!! The staff is dedicated, they are constantly looking for ways to grow and satisfy their customers, and the services they offer are great. I've been volunteering but I recently got a job so I can't continue doing that, but I will be attending the Aqua Boot Camp with Dontavious Brown whenever I can. It's a great workout and fun to do with a group of friends. The movements aren't difficult, but the resistance the water adds work your muscles without even realizing it. The treadmills are fun to use, and one of a kind. I can run 2 miles easy, when normally at .5 of a mile I start hating life. They really help people who've lost mobility regain it, because the water takes of 50-75% of their weight, depending on height. A lot of people watch the news or their favorite daytime talk show while they walk or bike in the water. Anyone looking to improve their lives that doubt their ability to exercise under normal circumstances should seriously consider aquatic exercise like the kind H3O offers. Jaden was our swim instructor and was the most assertive yet kind voice for my daughter's first time in real swim lessons. Even though we only did 30 minute sessions once a week, Jaden was fully invested in helping my kiddo learn proper strokes and breathing techniques. This place is a joke. I showed up for my first ever hydromassage bed appointment. The facility is skanky--stained carpet, moldy smell the minute you walk in. But I tried to keep an open mind and waited for someone to acknowledge me. When an employee finally did, he interrupted my questions to take a phone call. Another employee walked me back to the bed, and it and the room was so filthy I refused to lie down. I said "I'm not doing this" and he said "What were you expecting?" I said "Since I've never seen one before I had no expectations, but I'm not doing this." As I was walking out he said I could get in the pool and I said "I don't swim." He said "Some of our pools are only four feet deep." Oh, because people don't drown in four feet?!? I said "I'm not getting in the pool!" I'd been kept waiting, ignored, misled and was really, really over it. And THEN he said "If you'll calm down we can discuss this." Because when you're faced with an irate woman, patronize her--I mean, that's always a great strategy not to mention stellar customer service. I told him to kiss my a** and left. Then I called livingsocial and found out that even though I didn't use the bed they cashed my voucher! Luckily livingsocial let me redeem it toward something else. RUN the other way. read more
