This is the first year my son was with me and joined for a workout and he felt welcomed like family at this box too. The athletes their were incredibly friendly and fun loving. They know that CrossFit is about the community and having fun and you could tell!! To start with, Gary does an incredible job of warming us up and focusing stretching on the muscle groups we're going to hit that day. He takes his time with all of his athletes so nobody feels rushed. During the PVC progression to teach hang squat cleans he took extra time to ensure my son had proper form. He also believes in "time under tension" with the PVC to ensure proper movement before any weights are added. By the time we started he WOD everyone was sure of the movements and the workout would progress. We all pushed each other since it was a team workout on a Saturday. Afterwards we all helped each other clean up and put away weights. If I lived in the area, their is no question I would make this my home box!! Highly recommend them for personal trainer, local gym, group fitness classes, or even nutrition planning. If you also need supplements these guys can help you out too!! There are many things I am happy with since he started: he has grown confidence, strength, awareness of body and mind, respect for authority, and self-discipline. FT Knox is showing out with this gym!!! I mean nothing but the best for soldiers and I love love it! This gym has a cardio area upstairs with anything you can think of. It also has an indoor walking /running track. It's really great equipment. It almost looks brand new. I haven't been to any other gyms here on the installation but honestly after seeing this place I don't need anything else. The only down fall is that they are not open on the weekends. But I usually do cardio on those days and there is plenty here in the hotel for that so no biggie. There is also a huge basketball court as you enter the gym. It's well maintained! Finally there is a SAuna!!!!! I say again there is a sauna!!!! Wayyyyy to go MWR !! Like I said this gym is showing out " that is slang for being awesome" by the way. My review is based on the Zumba I attend there it was probably the best class I have been to in a very long time I am not 100% sure if OTT O has a Zumba class or any class for that matter because I only use that gym for lifting weights and cardio but nonetheless this is a great gym to go and get a great workout in when Otto is closed:) this is my second favorite gym on post:-)

I am so grateful to have found Yoga on Helm St. I called to let Cheryl know I was coming and when I arrived she was so welcoming and already had a mat and props set up for me. She introduced me to the other students and asked me about my yoga practice and if I had any injuries she needed to know about. Then we got started with the class (I went to the Saturday morning Power Yoga). First of all, her studio is beautiful, clean, and warm. She has plenty of mats, blankets, blocks, etc available for anyone to use, which is great because I have nothing with me! The class was great, she explains everything well and uses the traditional names, which I appreciate a lot. She is really passionate about her practice, learning, and teaching. I am looking forward to going to more classes with her! The first class is complimentary, so you should definitely check it out at least once. $15 per class, or you can buy 6-12-18 class passes at a cheaper rate.
