Beyond is my favorite juicery and smoothie franchise. I frequently come to this location because it's close to where I work. The smoothies are always consistent, fresh, and well blended. My go-to's are the Very Berry or Carlo's Detox. You can customize any of their smoothies, juices, salads, wraps or fruit bowls. The menu has many gluten free options and even gluten free wraps. The egg, avocado and cheddar wrap is delicious as well as the Pitaya Bloom bowl. Customer service at this location is friendly, interior is clean and there's plenty of parking in the shopping plaza lot. Forget Taco Tuesday....its Happy Hour Tuesday here! I think I've visited just about every Beyond Juice location in the Metro Detroit area, and I've yet to be disappointed. I usually stick to my go-to Caesar salad wrap--it's still the best thing on the menu, in my opinion. Occasionally, I'll switch it up with different smoothies or drinks. This time, I tried the Alive smoothie, and it was pretty good. I almost always place pickup orders, so I'm in and out quickly. The staff here was friendly, and everything went smoothly. I came in here today with my friend and we both ordered an Avocado, egg and cheddar. I got an Avocado turkey wrap???? and mind you this AVOCADO turkey wrap had 75% lettuce, 10 % turkey, 15 % tomatoes. didn't see one chunk of avocado...What is that ratio??? gross. The girl proceeded to tell me with an attitude that she heard me say that i wanted a turkey wrap, which me and my friends didn't say that at all because i was telling her what i wanted while looking at the avocado, egg and cheese on the menu. We ended up re ordering the Avocado egg, and cheese. when i bit into it the cheese wasn't even melted all the way. tomatoes were gross. I don't appreciate the attitude from the worker, and she didn't work well with me to be honest. I paid for something i didn't ask for. I do appreciate the niceness and respect from the manager that was here today though, she was very reassuring on contacting the general manager to get me a refund. Tell me why I walk in with my friend to go and get food and we ordered an avocado egg and cheese wrap which is 7ish dollars and she charges us for a avocado turkey wrap which is $11? Also those are not similar AT ALL. We told the worker when she gave us the wrong order and she gave us a lot of attitude when we were being nice and still proceeded to tell us we were wrong and ordered the thing she charged us for. I genuinely don't appreciate that attitude when all I said was we didn't order that.. once we got our correct order there was was to many tomatoes and out cheese was barley even melted?! The manager that was working today was very understanding and tried helping as much as she knew she could and I appreciated that. Service was crappy. I had called to see check if I had their address correct. The girl who answered the phone was not polite once so ever. To me personally sounded more like a inconvenience to her to pick up the phone. Once i got there they did not make me feel welcome at all. I stood for about 3 mins in silence before they turned their backs to acknowledge that I had walked in. I was a Starbucks customer and to be frank, their spotlight features have lack their appeal so I decided to search for an alternative. Love this place, and an app to order ahead. I ordered the new cookie butter smoothie & greek veggie wrap.. not sure where to start, maybe ill start with the smoothie. The first thing I notice, the consistency of the smoothie is literally perfect, the flavor took my brain 5 minutes to comprehend it was really amazing, whoever thought of that recipe receives props. The greek wrap i always get, loaded with veggies and taste phenomenal. And the service there is always upbeat & happy people. The store is also very nice inside, like all Beyond locations.
