Fantastic place for burgers, dogs, shakes, cakes, sandwiches and malts. Truly great food, very friendly staff, and great relaxed atmosphere with that 60s diner feel Recommend for anyone looking for top notch fast food!

Portillo's brings a bit of Chicago to Orlando, Florida and overall was a good experience. For fast-food, Portillo's definitely hits the spot. I like their Italian beef and would definitely recommend it. The service here was friendly and it has a cool ambiance and vibe. It is great to see that Portillo's has expanded to Orlando and I have enjoyed their meals several times.

The staff was very friendly And helpful. The inside of the restaurant was very clean and the theme is very retro and fun. The burger had tangy bbq sauce fresh red onions and crispy onions rings, Lots of bacon, it was delicious. The fries are some of my favorite they were hot and crispy. I would definitely recommend coming in to Portillo's if you are craving a Chicago Dog, Italian beef, or a burger.

Had the opportunity to try Portillo's again! Visited this place when they first opened a couple of years ago and so much has changed. Now they have kiosks to where you can order in private but still have a real-person at the cashier section ready to take your order. I got the Chicago style Polish sausage with the whole shabang on it: dog, mustard, chopped onions, tomatoes, sport peppers and added relish. Bun on the side. Came with hot, crispy fries and a fountain drink. Dog was delicious with everything on it! It marries each other well and the dog is consistent when I first tried it in Los Angeles like 15 years ago with my Dad. Shout out to Josh who took my custom order. Of course, Portillo's isn't complete without their famous tenders (purchased on my own). All the employees including the manager, all so friendly, happy to be there and know how to work up a nice conversation. The place is also spotless! Can't wait to come back. My go-to is their chili cheese dog, mmm!

I visited Portillo's for the first time as part of a Yelp Elite Event in April 2026. With all of the hype I see online around this franchise, I expected to be blown away. I was in actuality, quite underwhelmed. Its a large pleasant t space, but I had no idea where to go to order and nobody who looked like they worked there offered a singular lost-looking man any assistance. I eventually wondered to the back to place my order. I got myself a beef and cheese with fries and drink as part of the Event. I also ordered a bunch more to take home and share with the family. (They agreed. Tasty. Nothing special). The guy at the order counter was NO help whatsoever. He didn't seem to understand this was my first time. The place was not busy. One couple in line behind me. Then when they called my order, they left off half of it. In short, if I'm craving a hot dog and I'm in the area, I might grab something there. I really did enjoy the beef and cheese. But I don't see myself ever making a special trip to Portillo's as a destination.

One of my favorite cheat meals! I love the Italian beef sandwich and also like to get the cheese fries. Both are delicious. I have tried the burgers and chicken sandwiches from here as well and all of them were a splurge but yummy. I also love all of their sweet treats. Their strawberry shortcake is the best! And the chocolate cake shake is a thing of legends. I typically use their drive thru but if you do decide to eat inside the theming is like a retro Chicago diner. And I love that when they call your number they make a rhyme! It's super cute! It makes for a fun and personal interaction time!

When you're craving a hearty, flavor-packed meal, Portillo's is usually a solid go-to--and for the most part, this visit delivered. I ordered the Rodeo Burger, loaded with BBQ sauce, crispy onion rings, and bacon, and wow--what a combination. The flavors came together perfectly, giving that smoky, savory bite with just the right amount of crunch from the onion rings. Every bite was satisfying and exactly what you'd hope for from a burger like this. That said, I was a bit disappointed when I realized they gave me a single patty instead of the double I had ordered. It didn't ruin the experience, but it definitely felt like something was missing, especially since I was looking forward to that extra layer of goodness. The fries were on point--hot, crispy, and super tasty. And you can't leave without dessert--the chocolate cake slice was rich, moist, and incredibly satisfying. Definitely a must-have if you've got a sweet tooth. One thing that always stands out here is the customer service. The staff keeps things moving efficiently, and there's just something fun and welcoming about the way they call out order numbers--it adds to the whole experience. Overall, a really enjoyable meal with just a small hiccup. I'll definitely be back, just hoping they nail the order perfectly next time.

You ever willingly walk into a torrential downpour... for a hot dog? Not just any hot dog. A Chicago dog. That was me at Portillo's in Orlando. Rain coming down sideways, shoes questioning their life choices, and I'm out here thinking, "Yeah... this is absolutely worth it." Because when Portillo's does it right... it's not food. It's a mission. You step up, dripping like you just lost a bet with the weather, and then it hits you. The smell. The chaos. The energy. This isn't fast food... this is a full-blown experience disguised as a quick stop. Let's start with the dog. That neon green relish? I'm convinced it glows in the dark. And somehow... that's exactly how it's supposed to be. The peppers? Perfect. Snappy, tangy, just enough attitude. Every bite hits like it's been rehearsed. Pro tip... and I mean this with my whole heart: Don't dawdle small. Go jumbo. "Regret comes from ordering the smaller size... never the bigger one." Now the Italian beef. Spectacular. Juicy, messy, unapologetic. The kind of sandwich that requires both hands, a stack of napkins, and zero shame. This is not first-date food. This is commitment. And just when you think you've made it through... Plot twist. The chocolate cake shake. I dare you. Seriously. Try to drink it through the straw. Go ahead. I'll wait. Yeah... exactly. This thing laughs at straws. Pop the lid, grab a spoon, and accept your fate. It's part milkshake, part dessert, part upper body workout. Micro twist? Halfway through eating, you forget you're soaked. Completely. Like your brain just goes, "We have bigger priorities right now." Here's the deal. Portillo's doesn't try to be everything. It just absolutely nails what it does. Every single time. Five stars. No hesitation. Because a little rain isn't stopping anything when Chicago-style greatness is on the other side of the door.

First time trying this place, I love that there was so many options. I got the chicken sandwich with FREE LARGE fries, when you sign up for their email. The sandwich was juicy, and the bun was nice and buttery. Deducting stars because the fries were SALTY too salty. But I'd give the a try again!

The chocolate cake shake was the best thing we ordered by far. The small size is already really big so keep that in mind. It tasted delicious and you get the chocolate cake crumb texture from the actual cake they blend in. It's rich and feels like a dessert on its own. The plant dog was ok. I liked the poppy seed bun a lot. The dog itself was smokey but tasted like something you can buy frozen from the grocery store. Not very big for the price so it didn't feel like the best value. The fries tasted too heavy, like they fried it in animal fat or something. They were nicely crispy on the outside and had a good texture, but could have used a little more salt. The diner vibes were cute and classic with lots of tables and themed decor. It's a fun casual spot and good for groups.

What a great place to get. I am from Chicago, and this is the home of Portillo's! The famous Chicago dogs. I was so excited to see this pop up here in Orlando! This location is located on 535 very close to SeaWorld, and also very touristy. There are other locations around Central Florida, and this is not the location we usually visit as there is a closer one to our home. But we came here for a Yelp event and it is just as fantastic as other locations! The restaurant itself, has indoor and outdoor seating, along with a drive thru. The inside is a mixture of cars and tires meet tourists meet your old-fashioned car hops. It is a very fun environment. Music is on, everyone is friendly, and they are very funny calling out your numbers. Such as "Order 252 it's time to meet you" or "Order 365 it's time to shine". It's a fun place and perfect for families not looking to spend a ton of money. The food is pretty much hot dogs and burgers/chicken sandwiches, but they are known for their hot dogs, plain and simple. They also offer other options such as chicken, fish, burgers, salads and bowls and Italian beef. The Italian beef is fantastic, it gets dipped in a hot au jus sauce, but you can also ask for no dip as well. Their bowls are not like a rice bowl, it is their beef or sausage minus the bread. This is what my husband usually orders, and he loves it. I usually go for the Italian beef or the classic Chicago dog. A Chicago dog has mustard, the brightest green relish you have ever seen, celery salt, tomatoes, onions, a pickle and peppers sandwiched on the hot dog. This is a big dog! This can be customized any way you want it, remove something add something, it is how you want it. This visit I did order the Chicago dog with no relish or onions. It's how I prefer it. My husband ordered something new, he tried the Italian Sausage and Beef combo which was served on a hoagie bun. The sausage was actually really so good! I think I found a new favorite item, I will be getting the sausage next time. The service is really great too, everyone is always friendly. They will give you refills; they call out your number really fun and it's just a great place. They read your order back when you order which I also really like. It is quick service, fast food whatever you want to call it, but they do make it an experience. I would definitely recommend this chain. This is new to Orlando, probably within the last couple years, but it brings a touch of the north down here! I love it! It is loud so kids can be loud. It is not super expensive so its a good meal for the family. There are a lot of items so there should be something for everyone. The only difference is the Portillo's in Chicago also have a huge pasta section which I miss. Their pasta was good! I would love to see it here.

Portillo's off Palm Parkway here is the spot to be while Central Orlando. It is conveniently located around everything Disney including Seaworld. The food here is amazing from Chitown to Orlando you have everything you could ever ask for. Beginning with their hotdogs, burgers, and italian beef sandwich pairing it up with a salad or cheese fries and ending with a piece of lemon cake or chocolate cake, you simply cant go wrong. The decor in this place is stunning. I felt like I was in a museum. You have kiosks you can order from and even go thru Drive thru. They also have amazing funny sayings inside when it is pick up time for your food. Speedy service and they nail it everytime.

Love coming to Portillo's any time I'm in Orlando. It's a great taste of Chicago. I'd add pics of my sandwich, but it was gone before I thought to snap a photo. It was amazing!

Before my Mom and I went, we checked the closing hours. According to our online search, the restaurant closed at 9:30pm. We weren't far away and confirmed via GPS that we would get there by 9:03pm. As we were arriving, I noticed a worker had started removing the outdoor sidewalk sign back inside the restaurant. I asked the worker if they were closing and was told yes. The owner or manager, I would assume he was, stated we could come in. We drove around the building to a dark parking lot. Once we parked, the owner/manager, who was taking out the trash, questioned where I parked. I had parked behind, probably, his car which was closest to where we had to walk around to the front to enter the restaurant. I told him I quickly parked so we can get in and order. Once we entered the restaurant, we tried ordering. The owner/manager was very inpatient once he realized we were ordering food and not ice cream as he said he thought we wanted. I ordered a Chilli Cheese Dog (no bun). Mom got a Regular Hotdog (with condiments) and Plain Tater Tots. As we waited for our food, at least five people came in for ice cream. Our food was prepared in a reasonable time. We left approximately 9:23pm. Mom was satisfied with her food. My Chilli Cheese Dog was short on the Chilli. There was not a lot of Chilli on the hotdog. I don't plan on returning to this establishment.
