I was excited to try this place out & have a healthy beverage option while I was at Somerset. This juice bar utilizes customer-facing devices that require you to swipe your card and select a tip amount upon placing your order. If I recall correctly, it was mandatory to select a tip amount, and the options that I recall were $1, $3, $5 and $10. Now, I am a firm believer in tipping generously for the service that restaurant employees provide. With that said, a tip is given after service is provided, not before. I did not have a problem adding a tip to my total, as I assumed that I would be given good service in this relatively new establishment. (It's been a couple months since I visited, so it was actually very new at the time.) I watched in disbelief as one of the employees placed greens in the juicer without gloves. I looked at another employee who was wearing gloves, and then looked back at the employee, hoping that the employee would get the hint. I should have said something, but I didn't want to create a scene or anything. The employee then handed me my $9 juice in a styrofoam cup. Styrofoam. That was the icing on the cake. This is just another "trendy" juice bar that is perfect for people who want to "check-in" at a healthy food establishment or post pics on Instagram, but not for people who actually want a quality product with quality service. I only gave it 1 star because Zero isn't an option. I've tried a few different smoothies but each one tastes like banana. Doesn't matter which fancy concoction you attempt, all you're going to taste is banana. Banana sucks and so does this place. Their Turkey Avacado wrap sucked too. Thumbs down. read more

I love beyond juice. but I feel like this one, the smoothie is a little water down compared to the other stores(evergreen). still good but not as rich and thick. I still love the freshness of the smoothies. They also make juices fresh to order for bottles and some food. read more

Very frustrating. I was going to order a wrap online which was already priced at 10$ but I wanted to have a dressing on it. I went to add it to the order and it was an extra $1.50!!!!! I canceled the order right away and ate somewhere else. That seems like too much to add dressing when I can add more meat for that amount. read more

It was my second time there today getting juice and it will honestly probably be the last time. It took them literally 20 minutes to make two juices, there were 5 people working behind the counter and maybe two other people besides me waiting for their smoothies. It still took them forever to get my juices out. Nobody else but me had ordered a juice. So that couldn't have been the reason why it took forever. Usually have gotten something from different locations. I work at the mall and I've ordered a lot and it has been great. Lately I've been ordering and they've been getting my orders wrong when i can see in my email that i specifically told them what to put on my meal when I'm ordering online. Ordered yesterday and asked for no tomatoes on my sand which and add a sauce to it which costs 1.75 extra. They didn't put the sauce on my sandwich and added the tomatoes. I also asked for a water and never got it. I was so dehydrated. Last week when i ordered. I asked for a smoothie they gave me a completely different smoothie then the one i asked for. Step up the game or you will lose customers. read more

This has always been one of my favorite places to go for lunch during the work week. Went this past Friday evening ~7pm and it wasn't busy, yet it took 30 minutes to get our wraps. People who ordered after us got their food (not just smoothies but wraps and bowls) well before us. Had to ask the cashier why we had not yet been given our food and told her it had been over 20 minutes and her response was "hold on" while she went to the back, never said anything else to us. We were completely dismissed and the food FINALLY came 10 min later with absolutely NO apology from anyone. I spent $36 for two smoothies and two wraps + tip - I'd expect a little more customer service. I really don't think it's asking that much for an apology after you fail to make our order/gave it to someone else, whatever the reason for taking 30 min to make 2 Wraps. The failure of acknowledging the mistake and being treated subpar/like a nuisance was unacceptable. My husband and I will take our business elsewhere. read more

First, the good: -It's amazing to have a healthy option at Somerset--I usually get Haagen-Dazs when I come here. -The Up Beet juice (with beet, green apple, kale, carrot, cucumber, spinach and lemon) was super-refreshing and you get a lot of juice for your money--around 14-16 oz. I would guess? Next, the bad: -The first time I came in, the line was hella long and going in two directions--no one knew where to line up. They need those rope divider things BAD. The reason for the line was that there were two employees helping someone with a credit card issue, and neither looked up to see people getting pissed at the long wait. Another woman left at the same time as me. I decided to come back later to see if the line was shorter--thankfully it was--but they need better crowd control when it gets busy. -STYROFOAM cups. Seriously? You're supposed to be a health-conscious establishment. If you're serving health drinks to humans, you should care about the well-being of the planet, too. Switch to paper or compostable cups, Beyond. -I wish the juice was colder when I got it--maybe I'm supposed to ask for ice? Overall, I'm so happy to see this place at Somerset, I just hope they work out the kinks soon. I'll be back to try other menu items! read more

Really trying to like this location but After three/four visits I can say Birmingham location is much better. Ordered a hummus & beet salad with a small verde. The salad was not good mainly because it wasn't fresh and the toppings (like the beets and tomatoes) definitely tasted like they came from a can. I forced myself to eat it because I spent $17 on my lunch. And the cucumbers were soggy. I almost vomited but I had to stop myself since, again, my lunch cost $17. All the ingredients in the salad were either tasteless or old or both. I'm convinced they get the cheapest of the cheapest. Birmingham location is 100 times better. read more

Came here 5 minutes ago. I was literally standing in front of the lady working there (she wears glasses). I stood there for maybe 2 minutes in front of her. She did NOT acknowledge me. Her coworker told her a customer was there, referring to me. Then, another couple came in, and the rude worker went and took their order. I was invisible. Maybe she needs new glasses. I walked out. She also added that she had no idea what goes in to the items on the menu. What??? I hope the manager of the store reads this review because I sense your employees need some training. I really like Beyond Juicery however this location is the WORST. Ive been to cole st and eastern market locations as well and have had great experiences. Ive tried the somerset location 3 times now. Each time they have a poor very limited stock of bottle juices and shots with most of them expiring that day. If the cashier had a chance to come off her cellphone I had a question for her but she walked to the back without acknowledging me. I really like your products just wish there was more consistency in your locations. I will drive the extra 10 minutes to go to the cole st location instead. Somerset is very disappointing. read more

I had never before believed in love at first sight, but the extravagant view in this life changing store changed my mind. After taking it all in I looked at the menu, and WHAMO! I couldn't believe it! So many delicious options that were bound to change my life for good. When I finally made up my mind and ordered, it was like waiting for your whore stepmother to finally die, such an amazing feeling.
