We finally settled on "fig and pig" and salmon croissant. Both didn't disappoint! Croissant came with a copious amount of smoked salmon over a jam spread. I wouldn't think about such pairing- but it worked! Fig and pig entailed bacon over a goat cheese spread and jam. Another great one. I'm intrigued and will make another trip to try other offerings. The store side had a good selection of wine, deli meats, large selection of cheese and gourmet selections of chocolate. When I say gourmet I'm talking flavors I've not heard of before- like mushroom, and much more. And not cheap (so must be good?? ). I'd like to return when I have more time and explore the store some more.

Among the positives I have two negatives, both of which are not adequate enough to lower their star ranking. Firstly, it took around 20-25 minutes to get our food after ordering. I rarely hold timing against a restaurant as having worked in food, I know lunch rush exists and things happen. To mitigate this (for those in the area) I believe they have an online ordering system, which I would recommend utilizing! Secondly, they do not have indoor seating, so it is a very grab and go type establishment. This is counteracted by the multitude of benches around Royal Oak, though it would be nice to have some amount of seating, especially for those with accessibility needs and those waiting on their food. I've tried 3 different "stacks", the Italian stack, the Suicide Stack, and the Fiesta Stack. It's a MUST to add on cordial bread topping (basically making it cheese bread with seasonings on the outside). Every stack is delicious but my personal favorite was the fiesta stack. Super similar to a chicken hani at National Coney Island (breaded chicken, cheese, lettuce, sauce, tomato). They can get pricey. I think they start at $15 but you can probably get 2 meals out of one stack.

The Tallow Fries: These have huge potential, but unfortunately, mine arrived pretty soggy via delivery. I should have thrown them in the air fryer to crisp them back up, as I know they would be amazing fresh out of the fryer dripping in tallow. And they would have worked much better as larger almost steak cut fries to let the tallow flavor shine more. However as i ate them, i would still choose cajun 5 guys fries well done over them. My order for a burger and fries came to almost $40 (including tip) through their delivery service. Is it worth that price point for a delivery order? Probably not.
