We put in a "request a quote" via Yelp, Capital Locksmith responded within a couple of hours, a locksmith came out the same day and made a diagnosis. She ended up needing a completely new mechanism because it jammed and he drove out to a Toyota dealership the same day to get the part and returned promptly in order to put it back together. I unfortunately can't remember the name of the gentleman that assisted us. He was quick, direct, and efficient. As anything that comes with the fear of getting something with your car fixed, we were terrified of being cheated on pricing. Once he provided a quote, we were able to quickly confirm with our local mechanic via phone call that it sounded legit. This gave us peace of mind knowing we made the right decision and got the job done. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing help with their car door!

We needed a second key for a used Honda minivan we purchased. This company came out, knowing what…read morewe needed, and yet they didn't have the right key blank. My wife paid their fee, as they said that they would come out the next day. The next day they showed up and did not have the correct key. My wife, believing that they were reputable paid their invoice of $699. I decided to call the Honda dealer and asked them what they would charge for the same service. I was blown away when they said about $200! I immediately contacted Locksmith Express and asked for a refund, less their $29 service call fee. It took me weeks before i received any refund, and even then, they charged me a "key programming fee", which they said they had paid $69 for, yet their invoice was charging me $387! That's quite a mark-up. I would stay away from this company!

Fantastic work at a reasonable cost…read more.. This is the second time I've used this Locksmith and both times I was extremely satisfied with both the work and the cost. The pictures I have posted are from his first visit about a year ago when Valet Parking jammed the key in my ignition. The second time was today after getting my truck locks punched in during an attempt to steal it. He worked on it a few hours and replaced the locks on both sides along with the ignition. I find this locksmith more convenient and works faster than a locksmith just a few blocks away from where I live. I hope I don't need future work on my locks. But if I do, I'll know who to call!

On the other hand, they were out the same day and offered to be there in 30 minutes. I had chosen this place because I knew Raphael from another number and thought he was the one that would come out. It was not him, so I don't know if it would have been different for him. The guy ended up doing just one lock and it was (plus the $6 for extra keys), just under $100. He arrived at 4:15/4:20 and was done, made the 5 keys and rekeyed, before 4:40. A little steep for 15 minutes of work, but they did come out when I asked and did a good job.
