Walked in at 11:10 for a regular manicure - not the express. Was at the drying station at 11:20. She didn't clean underneath my nails, didn't seem to think I needed my cuticles cut and the hand massage consisted of slapping some cheap cream on my hands. Beyond Nails is very hit or miss in terms of actual nail painting quality. The salon is nice enough and the shoulder massage at the drying station is also a nice touch. However, I frequently leave with nail polish on my skin. See my check-in photo... There is nail polish around my big toe. I of course, cannot see it while I'm sitting in the chair, so it's always once I get home that I noticed this. read more

We called in advance because we were running late so we called in advance and said we would be their by 2: 10 we came we scheduled for 3 people the first one went towards the end we asked do we still have time for the other 2 they said no but yes on the phone so we explained 5 times still they did not understand so they showed us their "system " so we said okay fine. Then the two front desk ladies were talking in chinese so I got curious and pulled up Google translate and they called the person who asked the question a "crazy woman " in chinese later they kept looking and the first lady got her nails done while more people are coming in which is highly unprofessional. I recommend not coming to this salon if you don't want to be frustrated or named called. read more

I used to love going to Beyond Nails when I was home from college but the last few times have been atrocious. I got a deluxe pedicure and was cut and bleeding from the scraping callus treatment. My manicure wasn't bad but I left with gel polish all over my skin. I kid you not the technician banged my nails on the polish bottle upwards of 5 times to the point we were both getting frustrated when I asked her to fix it. The salon has so much potential but incidents like this make me want to fix somewhere else. read more

This place is always great. Today I had a manicure and a gel pedicure with Yumi and she is excellent, my nails are toes look wonderful.

Not great. I was told to go there by a few of the Ulta employees. The regular pedicure included no heal scrubbing to remove the dry callouses. They said it was extra. No hot stones. Leg Massage was crazy short. The towel was barely warm. I was not impressed. So much for trying a new place. read more

Everything about this experience was awful. I called ahead since I was going to be in the area. Was rushed picking out nail color. Went to put my feet in the water which was way too hot. After a few seconds was told the tub was full and no more water could be added.- still hot. Was asked to switch my feet every two seconds, and the scrubbing on the bottom of the feet was 12 seconds. I counted! That's as much as I could get for the regular pedicure, would have to do the $45 pedicure for more. Granted it was 3 months since my last pedicure so there was a lot to scrub. The service became hostile. When I didn't have cash and wanted to add the tip to the card I said I would add $4 to the card- she went and added $5!!! And didn't ask since it was their minimum transaction - Will never be back no matter how convenient it is to where I live and work. My daughter and I have been going here for several months. We were becoming quite frustrated with the quality of the services at other places we have gone to in the area. I have to say that everyone there is great! They are always busy and I would definitely call ahead to make an appointment. The staff there is very creative when it comes to designs. My daughter always brings a creative look to Sean and he creates it perfectly every time. For their pedicures, I can't understand why people were writing negative reviews. They have everything from a very simple pedicure to a very detailed high end service. They know what they are doing and i normally find if they recommend an upgrade it's because your feet need it! I have been coming to this salon for a few months and each time I leave thinking, maybe next time it will be better. Today I had a pedicure, the technician was trying hard to upsell me. She didn't seem to like that I wanted a basic pedicure. From start to finish it was 18 minutes for my pedicure. I had nail polish on the side of my big toe, she didn't loufa anymore than the heel of my feet, didn't trim cuticles. She was rushed to get to the next person she could up sell. I asked her for a shoulder massage, she pressed so hard I had to ask her to lighten up and then she pounded so hard I finally asked her to stop. There are some technicians at Beyond nails that are great. I recommend making an appointment with one of them and avoiding"walk in" appointments or save yourself the trouble and find another salon! read more

what a bad experience. I have given this salon two chances and this was the last straw. I felt rushed the whole time from choosing a color, to upgrading pedicure, and not even being thorough with the pedicure. The nail tech did a good job with the nails yes but the customer service was awful. I got a dip refill last night and it was fantastic. Jolin did a great job. I had one nail that was shorter than my other nails and instead of cutting all of my other nails down to match (which is what every other place has ever done), Jolin suggested adding a tip to the one nail. It looked awesome! The entire refill was $40 which I think is pretty great and I feel like she did a great job not sanding down my nails and keeping them as healthy as she possibly could. I was able to get in right away, the salon was clean, and I loved the massage as I was waiting for my nails to dry. They also had really fun color selections. I'll definitely be back. read more

I've been going to beyond nails for over a year. The quality has tanked. For the last three months, dip manicures have chipped and cracked inside of a week. The first time they fixed it for free. Since then, I've used clear hardener to keep the cracks from getting worse and to keep my nails for 2 weeks. Today was the final straw. Went in and had the dip removed & just got a regular manicure. I paint my nails as well if not better than the manicure I got. I'm unhappy and not returning. read more

Quality has gone down and attention to detail is completely lacking. We went for manis and pedis and literally wasted $130 plus tips. I had Ailing who would push your hand every time she wanted you to dry ... not relaxing at all ... and would be busy speaking with her co workers as opposed to paying attention to the task. read more

I went for 4th of July gel nails to this studio, felt rushed in every aspect of the service. Not even 10 seconds in the UV light and they'd grab my hand aggressively. Well, fast forward 1 day, 6 of my nails are chipped. I go back the next day and ask for them to touch up my nails that broke, they said it's my fault my nails are too thin. But, they fixed it. Then a day later, they're all chipping again. I go back and ask that they please remove my polish given it is not lasting and is not the gel service I requested (supposed to last 2 weeks). They told me no, they will only redo my nails, or I have to pay $10 for removal +tip (she said tip as if I'm not going to tip)... I said I shouldn't have to pay for gel nails that last less than 24 hours. After much back and forth, I finally just say yes to my nails being fixed for a second time. The nail tech tells me that I should remind my tech in the future to put on their "long lasting coat because most times it's overlooked." If I'm paying $40 for a gel manicure, you'd think the lasting aspect of that isn't being overlooked. Apparently so. 0/10 in all aspects, i told them as I was leaving I would never be back! Being new to the area, I tried Beyond Nails out of convenience. The salon was clean and the staff was friendly. I was a walk in and they took me right in which I appreciated. I had both a mani/pedi. The pedicure was a basic, no extras, gel polish. My go to for the summer. The manicure was a basic gel French tip on top my original nails. The pedicure was fast and the coats, to me, seem like they were lacking at least one more coat. Looked like something I could have done on my own. In between coats, I typically expect the drying (blue light) which was not used. Also very bizarre, my heels where wrapped in wax and then my sandals were placed on my foot. It was quiet interesting and not something I would generally do again. My manicure starts way beyond the cuticle which makes it look like press on nails. The cuticles are also piling significantly. In a pinch, it will do, but not likely to return. read more

When they first opened all of the girls did a good job, I did have a terrible pedicure from a man but I always requested female after that, and it's been fine. This summer, it's terrible. Their prices went up, and they rush. Three pedicures now and twice they could not make the water warm enough in two different chairs. This time I asked three different people while I was waiting and I got "yeah yeah I fix" and "when the girl sat down to actually do my pedicure she was intentionally ignoring the water while she unpacked everything, and sat talking with another employee.
