Owes me over $10,000, including a mechanics lien over $3000. Went on a payment plan to payoff money owed and soon missed many months and halved the amount he agreed to pay. Has not made a payment since last October. Was often late and missed appointments. Left his trailer in my driveway over a week when his truck broke down. Does not return phone calls. Paid him money and he wound up in jail and used my money to make bail. DO NOT USE!!! read more

Tito came out to give us an estimate and said they were 4-5 weeks out, but our job would only take one day, so they could probably squeeze us in earlier. Over 6 weeks later, still nothing. Every time we tried to get an approximate date, it was met with an attitude. Finally, we were told they'd be here on a certain date. The night before, we texted Tito to confirm, and he said that we'd never even told him what color pavers we wanted (read: he hadn't ordered anything for us). We did in fact send the color choice 6 weeks earlier and followed up multiple times asking if he needed more info from us. Can't comment on the quality of work because nothing was ever done and we finally cancelled. Luckily, no deposit was paid. Never got an apology or anything. read more

We don't often write reviews but in this case we wanted folks to know just how professional and efficient this coma-any can be. Time changes many things and it seems since the last review this company has improved 10 fold. They were knowledgeable, creative, customer oriented and just as important, cleaned up after their work. As a landscape design professional I can attest that it's hard to find qualified and responsive companies these days, but Beyond Pavers came through with flying colors. I can not say this enough, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Tito is a liar and con artist. We paid him to install a new paver driveway and seal the new and existing pavers that we had installed about two months earlier for our new pool. At first, he was very responsive, said he thought he could get the pavers very quickly. We got quotes from half a dozen different companies, Tito and one other came in right around the same. The price seemed almost too good to be true, but since another very reputable company had similar pricing I felt good about it. The reason we went with Tito was because he said he could get the job done in just a few weeks. That was welcome news to my husband and I since everyone else told us it would be 8-12 weeks before the pavers would come in. Tito texted me and said he could get us the pavers and start on the job, we paid him 50% up front so that he could purchase the materials. His guys showed up within a day or so, everything was moving along nicely. Here is where the "almost too good to be true" part comes in. After the second day of work Tito comes to me and says that we need to build a stone wall at the end of the driveway to prevent the dirt island between my neighbor and my house from causing issues. Now mind you, this is a small buildup of dirt and leaves between the two houses, it's not Mt. Everest. This stone wall was not necessary before, so my husband and I were a little apprehensive about it and not sure if we needed it. Tito assured us it was needed and would be an additional $1100.00. We told him to go ahead, and he said he would need the money right then to get the materials. I was home alone with three kids and my husband was at work with the checkbook. I said, "can you come get it in the morning" and he responded that "he had to have it today". I asked if he could go and get the materials and I could give him a check the next day, That's when he told us that he only had a $100.00 in his checking account and could not afford to pay for the additional materials....HUGE RED FLAG!!! The job is almost done, but we are getting ready to go out of town. I made a rookie move, I paid him in full despite the pavers not being sealed yet. It was raining as we left, so I told him to come back the following week to finish. This was on July 2nd, it took me almost (4) weeks to get him to come back and finish sealing the pavers. He gave me excuse after excuse for why he could not get there. Some days he did not respond to text and on other days he would say he was coming between a certain time and just never show up. Once he came and his pressure washer would not work, so he told me he would go and rent a pressure washer and come back. Then I get a text that he can't rent a pressure washer until Tuesday of the next week, it's Friday. Tuesday comes and goes and nothing. Wednesday comes and goes, nothing. Finally, he arrives on Thursday, however there is no pressure washer. He and his helper start sealing the driveway and back patio. Mind you he never cleaned the pavers, so there are marks all over that should have been cleaned properly prior to sealing. Now those marks are permanent stains. I asked him about the pressure washing and he said that he did not need to do it, he used some chemical to clean off the spots, which is utter non-sense. I also want to point out that Tito pointed out multiple spots to my husband and I stating that he would properly clean all the areas prior to applying the sealer. Also, he only applied one coat of sealer. Every company that I have talked to said that you pressure wash the driveway, then apply two coats of sealer. We are going to have to spend thousands of dollars to have the old sealer stripped off, pavers cleaned, then resealed. Tito is lazy, unprofessional, unethical and a liar. Save your self the time, energy and money, hire someone else. If I could give negative stars I would!! read more

Hired Beyond Pavers in January this year to do repair work on pavers in my backyard. We were told that 2 rows of 8-in block were needed to add a retaining wall which would prevent future repairs from being necessary. They came out to do the work during the day. My boyfriend came home during his lunch break and saw that they were only installing 1 row of 8-inch block but were still charging us for the 2 rows. Had he not come home, we would have been paying for materials and work that was not done. However, they corrected the work and added a second row of block. The work, when completed, was fine and we paid. The invoice for work came with a 3 year labor warranty. Beyond Pavers has been contacted by the property managers of this home since August of this year to apply the warranty to the repair of the pavers. The new damage has now affected pavers that were not in the original scope of work. Beyond Pavers has since been unresponsive to any requests to rectify these issues and it is nearly November. This is not a reputable contractor. read more

They will put you off, block your number, refuse to do a job or return your deposit and then berate you on Facebook if you leave them a bad review. I really believe that any good reviews they have are fake. If you wanna just give your money away and get nothing in return, pick a local charity, because then at least the money you spent will have been for a purpose. read more

I would not recommend using Beyond Pavers and Lighting. Tito's crew themselves were great and did great work regarding the paver extension installs. However, the job that Tito did to pressure wash, sand and seal the new extensions and my existing paver patio does looks sloppy and rushed. This is not a well-managed business and the communication from Tito post sale is terrible. So that outweighs the quality of work from his crew. I had to put down a 50% deposit since my pavers came from Belgard and Belgard requires payment upfront before they will manufacture the pavers. Once I made the 50% deposit, I had to follow-up a few times myself (no initial follow-up from Tito) before the job got started. Finally, two months after making the 50% deposit Beyond Pavers started the job (I get there is some inherent delays with construction materials due to COVID affecting supply chains). It took 3 days for two decent size extensions and a fire pit. As noted, the crew was great, worked hard and cleaned up well. I informed Tito before they started the job and mentioned it a few times I would be out of town on a family vacation. So I get a call Saturday when they are supposedly done with the install, sanding and sealing asking if I could hold $1,000 from the check because he needed to pay his crew due to mismanaging his business bank account. Mind you, I am out of town so a check was not an option. As such, I was able to Venmo Tito all but $1200 so he could take care of his crew. I sent the remaining $1200 the next morning since it seemed like they were done (lesson learned to not do this until visually seeing a job is completed). However, when I arrived at my house my existing paver patio around my pool had not been pressure washed, re-sanded or sealed and the two new extensions had not been sealed either. So the job had not been finished. I texted Tito later Sunday afternoon and received a two word reply. Then texted again on Monday with no response. No communication from him on Tuesday. Finally, on Wednesday Tito came to pickup the trash trailer that had been sitting in front of my house for almost a week and I had to walk outside to talk with him because it seemed like he was just going to get his trailer and leave. To no surprise he blamed it on being a crazy week so far, some other issues and said he would be in touch to come back out and finish up since he has the sealant. So we are now a week from when the job originally started and he still has not been back to seal the new extensions, pressure wash, re-sand and seal my existing paver patio around my pool. Mind you he has all the money for the entire job. Tito finally came out the following week, over a week later to pressure wash, sand and seal. The sand and sealing job that Tito did does not look good. It looks rushed and sloppy. We have various areas where piles of sand were not blown off and are now sealed and various areas where it looks like there is no sand in the joints of the pavers. This includes areas against my house foundations and areas where the paver meet the coping of my pool. I reached out to Tito on Monday following completion of the sanding and sealing and send pictures of the issues. I have yet to receive a response.. read more

As all the other reviewers have already stated, DO NOT use this company. Tito (the owner) is incompetent and completely unethical. They will steal your money. I paid $1900 for my pavers to be washed and sealed. Within weeks, the sealant began breaking, leaving an uneven look to the pavers. Tito immediately confirmed that there was a problem and that he would fix it. For 3 months he danced around when he would fix it, always saying that the weather wasn't right and then complaining that the product it would take to fix it is really expensive. He then had the audacity to complain that I didn't leave him a review when I said that I would after the work initially appeared to be satisfactory. After 3-4 months of back and forth, Tito finally showed up one day in the late afternoon (knowing that the work would take more than a few hours). His crappy machinery wouldn't work and, when he finally got it working, spent about 30 minutes on it before going home. He assured me that he would be back several days later, but backed out the day of, saying that he had something to do with his wife. When I told him that this wasn't acceptable and that I expected the work to be finished within a week or I would file a claim, he stated that he was done with me. I've since had a second company come out to evaluate and they stated that Tito did absolutely everything wrong. He used 3 coats (obviously driving the price up) when 1 would have worked much better. He did a shoddy job removing the one section of sealant, having the pressure washed on the wrong setting and scratching up the pavers. All in all, this is a company that should no longer be in business. I'll be filing a court claim this week. read more

The owner, Tito Rivera, examined my pavers and stated they were not sealed and needed a sealant that would seal out mold. He convinced me to buy a product which was guaranteed to solve my problem. He had an employee (since fired) come apply the product. He spent one hour sloppily applying one coat and, despite my request, did not leave the empty container to prove all the product was used on my job. Of course, the mold came back. Tito admitted two coats should have been applied, and it was apparent only one coat had been sprayed on. Tito then said the problem was not mold but oxide (although he originally diagnosed it to be mold) and that another product should have been used. Tito said he would contact me about the guarantee, and I haven't heard from him since. He does not respond to my emails, texts or phone calls. I paid $850 and it was a complete waste. I do not care if Tito charges you $5.00 to pave your entire yard, don't trust him, he will deliver service that's only worth $0.50. I was skeptical about hiring him based off of the reviews on Facebook, but I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. Both my mother and I met with him and he assured me that he will move all the furniture off the patio, install pavers and anchors on the patio, remove the tree stump in my son's playground, level the playground with the patio, and move the furniture back to the patio when he is finished. Not what happened, for starters, work was suppose to start on Wednesday, he didn't start until the following Monday. It toom him 3 days, which was fine because he told me it was a 3-4 days project. So on Wednesday when he was "finished" he left my yard a mess. He did not install the anchors, couldn't do that until Monday (5 days later) he didn't move the furniture back to the patio, he couldn't do that until Monday (5 days later), he removed the tree stump, but he didn't fill the hole, debris from the tree stump and the pavers were in my son's playground and it was not even close to being leveled to the patio . It was a complete disaster. He even moved my furniture to the patio even though he told me not to because it will disrupt the pavers. Without cursing or raising my voice, I told him that if he wasn't going to fulfill the terms of the contract, we needed to amend it. He didn't like that, but after 30 mins of us discussing the issues, speaking to our advisors, we agreed that he was to fill in the hole from the tree stump and install the anchors Monday. He facetime his wife, I spoke and laughed with her, I thought everything was good. Unbeknownst to me, he called the police on me, at MY HOUSE, claiming I harassed him and he felt threatened...ooohhh kay, you and three other GUYS against me, my 125 pounds mother and 18 months son. Not sure what his angle was, but needless to say, he didn't install the anchors and I will not recommend him to my worst enemy. He was a nighmare to work with. read more
