My favorite was the clam chowder soup, which was creamy, rich, and very tasty. We also shared a salad which had a spring mix, light vinegarette with some asparagus. It needed some kind of goat cheese or feta cheese as well as some nuts. For the main entree, we had a steak (medium rare) with unique onions (?balsamic grilled?) with broccolini that we enjoyed whereas the fish was a little on the dry side over a bed of rissoto. Dessert was creme brulee (good) and a chocolate forest cake (did not taste that great but maybe I don't like cherries like that.) Live music with guitar and singing was occurring in the lounge. That was lovely but it was a little too loud. The atmosphere is nice-- bar area with some table seating in the lounge area. We also liked the patio terrace outside which has fire pits and outdoor games. It has a lovely view of the downtown. (And remember that it does not get dark in San Jose in summers until around 9pm). The club also has a formal dining room, business conference/meeting rooms, ballrooms, etc. for any occasion. Parking is underground in the building and will be validated. It's configurable with Industrial-sized curtains used to divide the large space according to the games and court sizes needed. My daughter just started playing indoor soccer here; The facility is clean and new, but unheated, so dress like you'll be outside. (All the parents kept their coats on.) There's plenty of parking in back, but you'll have to use the nifty stoplight system to get back there; the driveway is only one car wide. Don't be the like the guy today who ignored it and caused a minor traffic jam. First!

Our cabana club was a bright spot of exercise and fun during the pandemic -- they worked so hard to make sure members could get some safe pool time in all season, even extended the season! It made a world of difference, especially for our boys. We're happy to continue our membership here and enjoy long summer days with friends by the pool!

When guildhouse opened to the general public in the afternoon, the atmosphere lit up. It's so casual and just a nice place to come and relax with your friends. There are a ton of amenities, whether it's board games, video games(both PC stations and console stations), and esports streams displayed the whole time. Such a great place if you want to avoid typical bars and want a gaming or anime themed environment!
