Here's the core issue: this was entirely your employee's careless error during scheduling. Why should a customer be forced to pay extra for your staff's miscommunication and messy booking system? It's completely unfair to shift the blame and extra cost onto your guest when I stated my desired service twice--once to the receptionist, once directly to the massage therapist before the session started. No one checked in with me mid-session to confirm they were switching my treatment or extending the time. There was zero transparent communication about the price change.
