I had such a fun time. This was my first rave. On to many more. The sets looked amazing. The music was really cool. I do think there was an odd sewage smell lingering on the second day from the portable bathrooms. Running out of water to wash your hands was not what I considered happening two hours into opening. Overpriced food is nothing new but $22 for a slice of pizza is insane. A lot of resources that should be available isn't. Despite this, I still managed to have a fun time with my friend. :)

I've been raving for over 8+ years and Beyond is definitely one of the festivals I recommend to anyone to start off with if they have never raved prior. Of course there are more raves one can I attend, but Beyond has that decent weather. Not too hot, not too cold.. Yes, it may be a bit cloudy, but that's ok. Dancing through the crowds keeps ya warm. This year similar to other years I was able to explore and see DJs I wanted to see and, or just simply came across by exploring deep into the wonderland. These festivals typically offer free water stations and they also sell plenty of drinks and food for your needs. If you are 21+, VIP is the way to go as it does separate you from the baby ravers which is always nice to just be able to dance the night away! Also don't forget to prebook your locker to store away any goodies you may get from other fellow ravers. The vibes are what you make of it. Definitely wander off and enjoy yourself. After all, this is a place where we are all welcome. Have fun be safe!

i have to first start this off with mad props to the support staff/medics/headliners keeping an eye out! anytime you have this amount of people support is necessary and it was visably there! we had so much fun for the 2 day vip experience! thank you to all the artists medics and fellow ravers! the experience was safe with no one trying to jack me or kill my vibe! i recommend it and if you see me nevt year say hi!!

Lots of walking since it's only one way entrance exit and it's a wrap around the whole event space. Maybe 20 minutes to enter and exit Super organized and tons of security and staff everywhere! The decor really transformed the space for the Alice in Wonderland theme Everything worked smoothly and nothing was closed or down It was quite clean with staff everywhere constantly sweeping etc The sound was also amazing and really immersed you in the experience

I kind of just typed this by curiosity to see if Yelp has a rating even for raves... And I guess it does!! Well Beyond Wonderland was my 5th rave since 2009. After I found out that the weather was going to be super rainy and cold as hell, I wasn't really expecting much from it.. But it turned out to be soooooo great! That horrible weather was completely ignored by the beauty of trance.. (I was staying at the ASOT 550 stage all night, of course!) It is unfortunate to acknowledge that Insomniac seems to take an advantage of the power of EDM era to make more money out us by increasing the price tickets, adding ridiculous "service" fees and delivery fees and such.. I decided to not to go this year, or maybe even not for awhile. I think I will look for just small individual concerts rather than those huge raves that attract people with the wrong purposes.

First time at Beyond this past March and besides the weather the first day, it was a blast. This is my second time at the NOS event center, first time was Escape. The lineup was fire (Tiesto, Alesso, Oliver Heldens, 7 lions, Tritonal, and the list goes on)... the people were friendly... the production value was awesome and the venue itself was decorated nicely in the theme of Wonderland. There are four tents, which aren't that far from each other which makes traveling from one to the other pretty easy. There are 2 water stations .. one in the back of the venue and one by the entrance. Restrooms are located in the rear of the venue but there are also porta potties stationed all over. Weather was a bit cold but it does warm up when you're in the middle surrounded by thousands of bodies so wear layers that are easily removed. Can't wait for Beyond 2019!

What a lovely theatre. We love classic movie palaces and drove about 90 minutes to see a show here…read more The size is just right... not too big, not too small. The bathrooms were nicer than I expected. I heard they recently did a renovation and I thought expanding the lobby was a great idea. We saw the ballroom area on the second floor and wow, what a cool space that is. I had a few concerns though which I thought negatively affected my experience. During intermission I couldn't figure out why there was such a hold up exiting the theatre. Yes there were a number of older patrons who walked slow or with walkers, but that is totally fine. When I exited the auditorium I saw this HUGE bottle neck of the men's bathroom line, elevator line, people exiting the theatre and people entering the theatre... and to top it all off... they put the refreshment bar right there. OMG... it was so frustrating and such a bottleneck. I'd consider moving the refreshment bar to the main lobby area which seem to be much more spacious and give more room for the auditorium doors. While I thought the bathrooms were unexpectly large and spacious but there were some concerns I had. The line to the men's bathroom went well into the lobby, but the door needed to be handled by every person in line. I think a door stop might help to prop the door open and so not everyone had to touch the door. Every single person (hopefully) is washing their hands - but with a manual on/off lever, it just stalled the sink line. And, it made a mess with everyone's wet hands handling the faucet lever and walking to the paper towel dispenser. I think they could speed up the line and make less congeston by using automatic on/off faucets. This is what the Pantages recently did and it was a game changer. Same goes with the paper towel dispenser. Everyone had to wave their hand to get the towels to dispense. Ugg, it was sooooo slow. I'd much prefer the towel dispensers which would automatically dispense a towel immediately when one is ripped off. And, worst part, with just 2 dispensers in the men's bathroom, there was one that was not working with dead batteries. OMG... that should be a priority to check before opening the house. In many ways this is just inexcusable.

This place is definitely an old school theater. A lot of character; not too big, very nostalgic…read morefeeling of being back in the day at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle. The location is easy to find and they have plenty of parking in their private lot. I bought tickets online for my cousin and I for $18/general ticket and we were able to pick up our tickets at the box office on the day of the performance. All I had to do was present my drivers license and they were able to locate my tickets. Our seats were preassigned based on timing of when our tickets were purchase. The interior was quaint, but small theaters have the luxury of good visuals for all attendees. My cousin and I were in B9 and B10 which put us one row back from the absolute front. I enjoyed the distance to the stage but the set back was the chairs. The chairs in each row were connected. At first I thought the person behind me was constantly kicking my chair, but it turns out we would feel every movement from the people in our row. Every time they got up, sat down or shifted... and unfortunately the person on the other side of the empty seat next to me couldn't stop shifting around all night long. It was so annoying. I hope they upgrade these chairs as soon as they have the budget to do so. I completely enjoyed the actual production of The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance. It was divided into two parts with an intermission after the first half. During the 20 minute intermission, the audience got up to use the restroom and to visit the concession area. The concession snacks were served by a friendly group. All of the items were $2 each. It was easy and quick math to calculate your order. They served coffee, tea, root beer, lemonade, cookies, trail mix and cheesy popcorn. We bought a variety of items thinking we could enjoy it during the remainder of the show, but a voice announced over the speakers that eating and drinking is prohibited in the theater area, so we just finished our beverages and left our snacks unopen. After enjoying the remainder of the production, the entire cast met us our front and thanked us for attending opening night. 5 stars for the cast and their performance! I especially loved the strong female lead role. She was perfect!! If you are a fan of the theater, this is an inexpensive spot to indulge. They are currently selling their season tickets and the production we enjoyed is still performing on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until March 8th. Just remember to manage your expectations with the venue when the tickets are so inexpensive.

However, as soon as we got off the 210 freeway, we both immediately became very uncomfortable. Our navigation system lead us through what appeared to be very ghetto neighborhoods. Once we turned onto a main street, there were three hookers walking up and down the street. I was so shocked! Then we turned onto the street where Sturges is located, and there was a guy smoking what appeared to be a crack pipe on the corner of the street. The whole way from the 210 freeway to Sturges had a very eerie feeling and look to it, like a ghost town almost. Not one cop in sight! Lighting on the streets was very dim. Sturges stood out like a diamond in the rough. It is a cute, vintage-looking building from the outside. There were numerous people lined up outside, and they looked decent. Parking was filling up fast. We found a parking spot. As soon as we looked around, there were some shady-looking guys staring at the parking lot. At this point, we were no longer comfortable & couldn't wait to get the hell out of there! On the way back to the freeway, there was a man on the sidewalk appearing to be snorting something up his nose! This whole incident was like a scene from a movie of the ghetto with hookers and drug dealers walking around everywhere! We were both in disbelief! So we headed to the movie theater instead and watched Silver Linings, which we enjoyed. Chicago the Musical will be performing at the Hollywood Bowl this summer, and I will just go see it there. Had it not been in the horrible neighborhood that Sturges is located in, I'm sure it would've been a fine show to watch. What a shame.

Been coming off and on for about 11 years now. The show always starts when it gets dark and has an incredible cast each year that sing and dance. This year it is the 50 year anniversary and they are performing The Wizard of Oz. My family likes to get in line pretty early and hour or two before. We bring a blanket and eat dinner in line in the grass. The kids run around until the doors open. The weather is almost always perfect but it gets pretty nippy as the evening goes on. The show is a couple hours long and has an intermission half way through it for rest room breaks. You can bring your own snacks or buy from JU. They sell at a reasonable price and have every snack you can think of. You can even rent a little cushion to sit if you think your butt will get tired of the concrete seating. We always just bring blankets to sit on. You can meet the cast and crew after each performance and take pictures or get autographs. This is a great tradition that San Bernardino has every summer. Cheap and entertaining. Definitely need to check it out if you have not yet.
