The area is really beautiful, with lots of gorgeous historical buildings. I arrived a early, and was able to find a handicap parking spot right on the corner near the theater. Parking can be a challenge , but there are some lots in the area to provide extra parking. I ran into some people that I had met at previous concerts, and we chatted while we waited for the doors to open. The entrance and the box office are up a flight of stairs, so the ADA entrance is an elevator to the left side near the stairs. We waited here, and they escorted us up to the checkin area just before the general crowd was admitted. The theater is beautiful, with seating on the main floor at the back and in the balcony. We were in the ADA section on the right side. It's not raised, so you do have a little bit of a blocked view of the stage. Sound and lighting were great, which is good because some older venues have issues with the sound especially. I really the Nothing More show, and the openers were good too, which is a bonus. There is one small concessions on the concert level. Everything else is downstairs on the ground floor. Restrooms, larger bar, and merch for concerts are all here. ADA access is from that same entrance elevator on the left side, and there's a hidden women's restroom near the elevator. I will definitely be back, when there's an important show that's worth the trip to Riverside.

The space is large, but one thing that stands out is how dusty the theater seating is. It's visibly noticeable, even in the dark. The building is pretty on the outside, and it's not bad inside. They don't have their own parking area so you have to park at one of the many different businesses nearby, or the parking garage behind the Mission Inn.

She is so accommodating, friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful every step of the way. From the moment we toured the venue, we knew it was something special. The venue itself is beyond gorgeous. So many of our guests came up to us to ask how we found such a stunning location. The setting is perfect, with beautiful hills in the background and the most incredible "stairway to nowhere" that creates breathtaking sunset views and photos. The ceremony and dance area, as well as the dinner space, are perfectly laid out and flow beautifully. And if you're looking for the perfect DIY venue that allows you to truly bring your vision to life, this is it. This venue is truly magical, and I can't say enough good things about it. I am so incredibly thankful we found the perfect place to celebrate our special day.

This is the first venue I looked at and we booked instantly. No regrets. The venue itself was amazing! It was spacious and offered us enough room to have 2 types of photo booths, dessert table, sweetheart table, gift table, along with all the food setup and guest tables. There is a built in bar & dance floor as well. They're both so nice! I will provide as much pictures as I can so you can see how beautiful it is. I 100% recommend this venue!! I would LOVE to book here again for other special events. Also I have a tip: invest in a GOOD experienced photographer. There are beautiful areas to take pictures both inside and outside so make sure you take advantage and don't pass them up. My photographer was a lady named Marlyn and she had creative ideas! Her email is marlynaphotographs@gmail.com incase anyone is interested.

I first booked this venue for my organization in October, paying for the deposit to secure my date. The event was to be held late May. The first red flag was that there was NO proper contract given to us despite us requesting for one. Naomi, the manager in charge, told my team that she would provide one but never did. I paid for the deposit, $2,500, the only thing defined as non-refundable, despite the fact there was no contract because she emphasized our date will be taken if we are not quick. We paid and chose to have faith that she will provide one shortly. Several months later, when it was time to complete payment, we were informed for the first time that outside catering was no longer allowed and that we would be required to use the venue's catering services. This added over $3,000+ in unexpected costs that had not been communicated earlier in the planning process. At that point, we were also told full payment had to be made immediately or we lose the venue. Because it was too late to realistically find another location, we were pressured to hurry and proceeded to pay a total of nearly $7,000 that day. To make matters worst, abruptly, a week later our event had to be canceled. I called her, asking if there was any chance I could get a partial refund. She told me it wouldn't be possible, I will be getting nothing back. I reminded her that there was no contract or policies in this regard. She then began bringing up her "legal team." I asked if I could atleast talk to them or see any written evidence. She laughed and told me that it costs over $500 just to speak to them, so no I wouldn't be allowed to talk to them. She told me I would need to get a legal team if I want to take this further, in which I do not hold these luxuries. I thought I could maybe get refunded for atleast the food because the event didn't happen. I texted her if this was posssible, if there's any further information I could provide, and if I could get a proper receipt of all my payments because that was never given either. All I got in response to this was to "email her our texts in regards to the cancellations." I had to text her several times to see if there was any updates after I emailed her. She finally responds and tells me to wait till the end of the week and I will get a response. She did not send me a response. I waited until the following Monday to ask again and she requests to call me. As I enter the call, I hear her laughing to her co-workers and when she sees I've picked up she tells me "Yeah no, we will not be giving you a refund." She then proceeds to remind me that it should've been earlier and that because of us she missed out on a $20,000 opportunity with a hospital and several other opportunities that could've been utilized over us and that's why she can't give us a refund. Because she missed out on more money opportunities. I end the call because I understood I was never going to get anything back. I simply asked for my receipt once more which her co-worker sends the next day. Funnily enough, there's a discloser at the bottom of the receipt talking about their policy on how "all bookings are final and we maintain a strict no-cancellation policy." Yet she couldn't send me this before? They most likely added it after this whole ordeal. We regretfully lost almost $10,000 in the process of working with her. I understand that there are rules and policies. However, I would've been a lot more understanding if this venue at least had a heart and act understanding towards our situation when talking to me. Without a single apology, without any empathy, throughout this whole process I was constantly belittled and reminded that she could've earned more if it weren't for us. If you want a place that will actually care about you and see you as more than just a paycheck, please consider other options as there are plenty of other lovely venues around Riverside.

They were tasty, juicy and a little bit overpriced. Overall worth it. The cocktails were very good as well. On this particular night, we were there to see a David Bowie tribute show and the cocktails were themed after Bowie songs which was a really cute touch. Parking in the area was easy and I luckily found an inexpensive spot to park. The sound quality in the venue was great and I don't think there was a bad seat in the house. Walking in is a step back in time to when the golden age of the silver screen brought people en masse to classy, red carpeted movie houses. That vibe lingers as one enters the softly lit warm glow of the lobby with its period chandeliers, dark wood painted beams, and carpeted floors. Proper old school escorts take you to your seats. Inside the theater, the stage is flanked by drapes, and aesthetically pleasing lighting sets the mood. The seats are a rare find - wooden with lush velvety fabric. Surprisingly, they were more spacious than expected. Also surprisingly, our seats weren't attached to the floor! If we leaned forward, our two seats both moved. It wasn't a problem, just surprising. We also had one cup holder. It seemed they were randomly placed with several seats lacking them. Since we were here for a concert, let's talk about sound quality, which was spot on! The speaker system provided multidirectional sound that was clear and clean. No pops, distortion, or drops here. The bass gave that satisfying through the feet vibration without rattling our teeth. The temperature was comfortably cool and never stuffy. So, why a 4 instead of a 5? While seat/cupholder were kinda just quirky, it's a matter of layout and patience. As you pass through to the interior, there's a confluence of lines that, even though people queued up as best they could, merged with those trying to find a way through. The women's restroom line - which was clean with good sized stalls - comes first, with the bar just a few yards away, followed by merch table. The bar line ended up descending down the stairs on one side while the merch table went down the other. I honestly don't know how they could manage it differently given the space. Bar and merch lines moved slowly, and I was appreciative when another joined the single bartender to help customers. Someone said there was another bar, but I was too time invested to inquire. My friend eventually left the merch table after making no significant headway after 20 minutes. After the concert, the line was back down the stairs. Patience, politeness, and flexibility win the day here. Did this take away from our experience? No, not really. We were lined up outside and entered shortly after doors opened, an hour before showtime. These logistics would not keep me from returning.
