Darci is incredible. I decided on my 30th birthday that I wanted to go loud and crazy. I walked in with dark hair and 6 hours of labor and love later, Darci had me in bright pink, teal and purple. It was an incredible transformation and Darci talked me thru the whole thing. I came back a few more times to do vivids then found out I was pregnant so I curbed the colors. But: when I was getting colors, Darci made sure to talk thru options and what colors would work best in my hair. The time went quickly because I had such a great time while I was there. All the stylists are so friendly, and the salon is just lovely. Okay: the best part - when you lay down at the shampoo bowls, they are sooooo comfortable! At other salons I've sat so uncomfortable with the bowl on the back of my neck... here, you sit so comfortably it's just lovely! Even if you just want to go for a wash and style - you'll be pampered for sure I highly recommend BeYoutiful Salon & I'm sure you will leave feeling beautiful read more

The owner, Casey, is a horrible person. She is disrespectful, rude, a liar, and does not communicate well. I honestly do not understand how a person with this little maturity can own and keep open a business. To make a long story short a contract was written in December/January for a PRIVATE bridal suite in an upstairs room for a Saturday in June. The mother of the bride was in and out of the salon multiple times getting her hair done, wedding beauty trails and in conversation about the private suite and contract. The week of the wedding (three days before) the owner called to say that we no longer had the suite. She rented it out to a yoga studio back in January. She told us that she just forgot to mention it. How do you forget to mention that the room we were promised was not available. This was the ONLY reason we picked this salon and she knew that. So, NO, she did not forget, knowing that it was the week of and there would be no time to find another place she trapped us into coming. The day of the wedding we did go to her salon, again because we were not given a choice or time to find another place .We were in the main area of the salon with other customers coming and going. Not only is this horrible business but awful character. I feel sorry for Casey and will pray for her. My hope is that other brides will see this review and stay far away from this salon. No bride should have to deal with a very avoidable set back the week of their wedding. read more

I had the best experience here! It was my first time in and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience with Brittany! Parking was really easy. There was plenty of street parking out front. Due to the new guidelines, I waited in my car until she texted that she was ready for me to come in. Brittany took her time to go over my hair goals and her recommendations. My review is for a stylits Jennifer V. Overall, this was not the worst but definitely not the best or what i was looking for. The consultation left a lot to be desired. Rather than ask me what we are looking to achieve Jennifer's first question was if i had pictures, even before saying hello. I did have pictures along with knowledge in the field so I am able to articulate what i wanted. Obviously, the end result is not what I was wanting. I did politely ask if i could give my honest opinion. She said yes, and i said while the job is lovely and it is. It is not what I asked for. She stated at the end of the service, she was nervous to do my request, which was nothing more than a thicker highlight lowlight. A chunky look. Instead, for 3 hrs and this price I got a root touch up and a little bit of a refresh on just some of my blonde highlights.I essentially looked the same as when i came in just a better root (not as much gray) I did my best to explain how to achieve this just that i am not able to myself anymore. I realize this is not the trendy style right now. She then replied that she focuses on the "lived in look" I didnt want the lived in, i told her i wanted something refreshing and different than what i had. I do realize there has to be a starting point but my complaint isnt as much about the actual hair even though it wasnt right as it is when I complained politely she responded also politely only then that she was uncomfortable doing my request that she hadnt done that technique before and that she looks to acheive that lived in style really. When i explained point blank what was lacking (which in the big pic of it i dont think is too complicated) she just said we will get it next time. No offer to correct a clearly disappointed appointment and no apology for that. I also got home and realized that she had missed 3 giant spots in my front hairline that are still gleaming white (gray hair) i will have to correct this myself and wait for the next time i can afford 200+ service fee plus a very healthy tip to be disappointed. read more

After losing my long-time stylist, I had to find a new one. I consulted Yelp for salons in my area (I didn't want something pretentious or too high-end) and although they had only one review, it was a good one. I had to call a few times to get an appointment because the answering machine was on, but once I did, Christa was able to get me in within a week. I just needed a basic cut, nothing too fancy. Overall, the experience was very good. Christa was personable, the salon wasn't busy at all and she got me in at exactly my appointment time. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she did just that. Plus, she made styling my new cut simple, without a lot of product or tools, so I could do it at home. I was in and out in about 40 minutes and the price was very reasonable. The ONLY suggestion I would make for them, is to acknowledge your clients when they walk in. When I got there, I took a seat in the waiting room (its a very open salon, so as soon as you walk in, everyone can see you). Nobody said "hello" or anything. There were only two stylists there, and each had a client...but still, I almost felt like I was intruding into someone's personal space because nobody spoke a word to me until my appointment started. Even at Dollar Tree or Jimmy John's, they say HELLO! as soon as you walk in the door. No biggie. I'll be back. read more

I went there to get my hair done. I had a clear reference photo. Needless to say, my hair color didn't turn out at all. My grays were still showing. I saw friends on the same day before and after getting my hair color and cut, and they didn't see a difference. I had to remind her to thin my hair. I had to go to different salon to get it fixed because not only was my color not good, my hair was cut uneven. When I sent an email asking what could be done, I didn't receive any response. I had to message through FB and simply got that the salon can't do anything to help me. It's been two months and I'm still waiting for a reply from the stylist. I'm sure there are good people working here, but I would be wary. If there's an issue, basically "too bad so sad not our fault". read more

As a biracial woman, it can be difficult to find a stylist who knows how to work with my hair type but, from start to finish, Casey delivered effortlessly. The salon itself is pretty and welcoming! But what really keeps me coming back is my stylist, Kayla! She knows exactly what she's doing and I always leave loving my hair! Very sadly I have to give this business a negative review due directly to it's owner& her extremely hurtful handling of our bridal party booking. I use the term very sadly because there are some very wonderful & talented associates at this Salon that I hold in highest regard. However, Ms. Thompson's treatment of us was absolutely unforgivable. 6 months prior to my daughter's wedding date we were desperately trying to solve the logistics of our bridal party wedding day preparation when I happened upon a sign outside Beyoutiful promoting their Bridal Suite. The pictures I have attached depict the space that we were absolutely THRILLED to have found! We toured the space with Casey, set up a contract which included our paying for a total of over $1,000 worth of services for 9 customers. I became a regular customer at the salon & stayed in regular contact with Casey about our booking. Both at the time that we toured & in many conversations over the next months it was very evident that our entire experience expectation was centered around the private space. Just imagine my shock & disappointment to receive a message from Casey 4 days before the wedding stating "oh I kept forgetting to mention...the original space upstairs is no longer available so your party of 9 plus photographer, videographer, etc will all just be in the main Salon. " Even worse, I could not get her to make any effort to try to resolve this more to our satisfaction (a compromise perhaps with the folks she had given the space away to who only had 1 hour booked that day) nor has she ever seemed to grasp at all how hurtful, disappointing & aggravating this was for us. Thank Goodness for all of the staff that served us that day & all of our vendors (my coordinator, photographer, videographer) & my bride & bridal party who managed to make the best of the situation. But certainly NO THANKS TO OWNER CASEY THOMPSON!! read more
