I was Vicky's client years ago for my eyebrows tattoo. My eyebrows came out so perfect. And it's still looking great. I have chat to her multiple times in the past few years about getting my lips tattoo but I was extremely nervous to do so. But then I finally decided to get my lips done about 10 weeks ago. It was to be a present to myself. After months, I worked up the nerve to finally -- PERMANENTLY TATTOO my eyebrows. I had spent innumerable hours researching the process, scanning through IG pages, to ultimately, deciding on Vicky. For most of my life, I have been blessed/cursed with the hairless gene -- good for other areas of my body but terrible for my face. Without eyebrows, I woke up every morning looking like a naked mole rat. I ran through the rain shielding not my hair or precious belongings, but my wash off brows. A gym bag would be incomplete without a brow pencil. BUT NO MORE. So when I came upon the powder ombre procedure, I knew it was to be the answer to my problems. I reached out to Vicky, and voila, there I was sitting on her bench a few days before Christmas. Well, I gotta start with how lucky I am to finally find my eyebrows artist. I've been doing lots of research and reading reviews on yelp from different places in Tustin, Irvine, Santa Ana. Finally I found Vicky with all 5 stars and give it a try. Trust me the moment I saw Vicky I knew she is the one. After a long patient consultation over my skin type, shape wise, I decided to go with powder shading, which is suitable with my oily skin for better result than microblading. Oh please don't get me wrong that Vicky was steering away from having me done with blading not because she could not do it. By just talking about techniques on microblading , I knew she can do a great job too (since I did lots research on microblading and took online course about it). Back to my eyebrows journey, I decided to go with powder shading and picked the color I want. Procedure wise: her technique is just gently painless (pfcourse with the aid of topical lidocaine and the artist's skill herself ) to make me feel so comfortable to the point that I felt asleep for almost 2 hours. During your initial appointment, she will map and draw out your shape, if you don't like it or need some changes, don't be afraid to speak up, after all, it is permanent. I didn't have to, Vicky got it right the first time for me. The pain tolerant is about 5-7, not too bad for someone who has several tattoos. She will numb you if you want. Vicky will give you a before and after care guide and she follows up with your progress. She even checks in when it's time for your follow up appointment in a couple months. Oh by the way, the initial appointment may not yield your desire results. You will need to schedule the follow up appt to achieve the final look. Initially I went in for the microblading combo brows which shades at the edges. I found that it was too light for me and I wanted it to be darker so that I don't have to do anything to it.
