It was very easy to chat with her. I have had microshading done twice and so was familiar with the process, but I appreciated her due diligence in discussing what she could and couldn't do so that she could understand and achieve what I was looking for. I originally had my brows microbladed by Alice 4 or 5 years ago, and had been wanting to get them redone, but was waiting as i researched brow lift surgeons. I normally don't write reviews but I had to make an exception for my experience at Beauty Elements. I have been admiring Cindy's work on her instagram (@mzcindyv) and she was always booked. After the reopening of covid, she opened up her calendar and I hopped on the opportunity to book with her for the 1st of December. Her staff are extremely friendly and organized. Cindy, herself, is a doll. She is through in her explanation and listens to my concerns. I am beyond satisfied with my eyebrows and my experience. She even gives you a goodie bag with ointment and some aftercare materials. I would 1000% recommend her to everyone who wants micro-blading/micro-shading/or ombré powdered brows. Covid: she requests that you text her upon arrival and they will let you know when they are ready to have you come to the door. This allows for social distancing between guests and allows staff and Cindy, time to sanitize in-between visits. They take your temperature upon arrival and requires a mask. Cindy has her N95 mask as well as a face shield on when she's working on you. Everything is wrapped for disposal after. I felt super safe in her facility. Again, I highly recommend Beauty Elements. This review has been long overdue, the first time I went to beauty elements was when I got combo brows done by Connie. Even after a few years, my brows are still hanging in there and look good. I have yet to do a touch up. Now I come to them for lovesculpt. Since having my first child, I was struggling with the skin on my belly, it had lost its elasticity and it was just a stubborn area that was not budging no matter what I did with exercises, creams, etc. I was close to trying out cool sculpting and even considering a version of lipo that is done when awake, until I saw a post on IG that showcased lovesculpt. I bought their packaged sessions and I have never seen my belly look pretty frickn close to what it was pre baby. My skin was more firm and the stubborn bulge on my belly had shrunk. Now after recently having my second baby, I am back to lovesculpt to get my belly snatched once more. The best girl in town. Hands down!!! This girl is a rare gem. From the moment I found her to the entire process of microblading, I have never felt better about this decision in my life. I've always wanted to get my brows semi permanent and natural looking. I searched everywhere for a good artist and couldn't find any I was willing to trust with my brows. - It really does make or break a face you know. After finding Cindy, she walked me through the entire process consultation til the end and explained everything extremely thoroughly and made sure I was aware of all the possible outcomes of the process. She let me know ahead of time how to prepare - don't wax or tweeze. Also, she took an ample amount of time to go over the shape - she didn't just do whatever she wanted. She wanted to make sure I was in love with my brows and that they were even before doing anything at all. She let me know that because it isn't a permanent tattoo, it will fade quite significantly and I will need to come back and do a touch up- which is included in her process. She informed me that everyone heals differently and will want to do a follow up and check on my brows to make sure they're perfect. I was amazed at how wonderful they came out and the process was simple. Make sure you make an appointment online, sometimes she has open slots you can snag quickly! Don't exercise for the first 10 days (she tells you all this and gives you a goody bag at the end). She's super busy, so the best way of contact is to get your appointment in first. I am just in awe I never took Cindy's course sooner. This review is as a student who took her collab lip blush/lip jelly 2 day course. Both Cindy and Connie are amazing artists in what they all do, with tons of experience to share. I was fortunate to be in a class of 2 (this was right after Thanksgiving holiday) so it became a focused 2:2 training. I was already doing brows and saline removal before this course but I felt that they were able to teach my other lip sis machine work within 2 days and that is entirely amazing (plus it helps that she's a natural talent). They go over basic information, consultation, consent forms, benefits, machine technique, color theory, live model demo and we each got to work on our own live models- putting everything we learned to the test. Now, it doesn't just end there! They provide ongoing support for me behind the scenes when I have questions or concerns and they never hesitate to repost and promote my work despite us being in the same industry. Empowering each artist is golden!!! In addition to themselves, they go a step further to provide all the supplies we would need to start out including 5 very popular Permablend lip pigments and the Mark PMU machine. I don't like the final result of my eyebrows. During the consultation of my touch up, she did ask me if everything was ok before she proceeded, I told her that the strokes from the beginning of one eyebrow is slanted than the other and I just wanted it similar if not identical, she said that she's just following hairline structure, which I agreed but stressed out that if she can make it look similar. After finishing touches she asked me if she should draw one more stroke to which I agreed. I said yes immediately to everything she's suggesting because I have more confidence in her in doing this than my own opinions at that time. After a few days I noticed that the right brow was brought it too close leaving no room for adjustements. I'm not really good at shaping my eyebrows, hence, me spending a lot on this to have someone do it for me. That's why I went to her. With every step she did ask me, I said yes to everything and now I'm regretting seeing the final result. Nobody is perfect, people have off days or whatever but what got me so mad is when I voiced out the concerns I have, her assistant said they could fix it but because she's busy and will be available in three months. I understand youre busy but when a client says that they're not comfortable with the final result, what am I supposed to do with this now? Good customer service? Nope. I said yes and completely trusted her but I guess her fixing my eyebrows won't be done anytime soon. Really sad and disappointed. read more

She's as good as everyone says and well worth the wait and $$. I am cursed in the brow department and have been very self-conscious about it my entire life. I inherited my mothers brow shape and she and I both have to fill in over half the space because our natural shape is low, thick and terrible. When she draws the outline, it looks thicker than it will be- this kinda made me weary but I trusted her and they got thinner after pealing. I literally thought I might cry after the procedure.. that's how much my brows have been an inconvenience and cause of everyday stress. I could never leave the house with out filling them in because there was barely anything there. Ladies and gentlemen- BE GLAD we live in a time when having bad brows is no longer a problem. Yay, first 2017 review. One word: Game Changer. My story: New year, real brows. Thank you Cindy for giving life to my face. Every morning I can say "I woke up like this and this is really how a normal person feels like when they wake up with real eyebrows. I have very light and little eyebrows, pretty much no brows. Have been contemplating for a while now to get my eyebrows tatted, whether it be permanent or semi-permanent and who to go to. My good friend/coworker referred me to Cindy. I checked out Cindy's Instagram, saw her work and who her clientele was and immediately wanted her to be my makeup artist. Day of procedure: Last Thursday, I arrived to my appointment and felt welcomed. The environment is cutesy, well decorated and not only that, Cindy is very friendly! There was a little sign that said "Welcome Joyee". From there, the usual process, filled out paperwork, went over the procedure, after-care, how the procedure is done. Before pictures, applied a eyebrow ruler sticker on my fore head (it's to make sure your eyebrows are properly centered and stenciled out), drew out the outline of the eyebrows, make sure it's the way you want it to look, make changes until you love it, numbing creme and then it beings! The procedure was pretty painless besides the outline part which was what Cindy would tell you beforehand. Definitely did not love it but once you get by that part, the rest you won't even feel because I fell asleep! I didn't bleed or have any redness so that's a plus. When I woke up and took a look at it, I wasn't sure I LOVED it just yet but only because I'm not used to the shape/style of it. My experience: Was nervous/ excited at the same time since microblading is still a form of tattoo and it's some what permanent.. but I have nothing but good things to say about Beauty Elements and Cindy. I'm so happy and LOVE it my eyebrows, best decision I ever made and wish I did it sooner!! It's only day 4 but I can't wait for it to completely heal and it still looks great. I got my eyebrows done with one of Cindy's students, Erica. Before coming in, they provided instructions to ensure that the procedure goes well. When I came in, everyone was super friendly. They explained the entire procedure to me before beginning. The procedure itself wasn't painful or uncomfortable at all and mainly just felt like little scratches. Before I left, they made sure to explain the healing process and provided a post care instruction sheet and kit. Erica was super sweet and Cindy is very hands on mentor and made sure that all her students and models were doing ok. I recently came back for a touch up with Alice and I love how they turned out!! It's been probably 8 months or so since I got my brows done here and although I loved Cindy and her studio is impeccable, the microblading is almost entirely gone from my brows and I'm back to having to spend a lot of time penciling them in which is a huge bummer considering how much I spent on them. I had my included touch up and Cindy was nice enough to do another touch up at no cost since my brows had faded so much already (no I don't have oily skin and yes I followed the aftercare instructions to a T and even tried dry healing after my last touch up). I went to another artist for help who said perhaps she just didn't go deep enough. I'll unfortunately have to shell out another pile of cash to get them done somewhere else. :( read more

I was absolutely terrified about this procedure because: 1. I am male 2. I was afraid my brows would end up looking like my Asian mom's (tattooed) 3. I've never had anyone else touch my eyebrows (not even for a clean up!) I told Cindy what I wanted but she was able to give me even more than what I had expected. I told her my concerns of the eyebrows looking unnatural. I was aiming for an unclean and deeper color to my brows; I wanted my brows to appear DARKER in videos/photos. Cindy was open to my suggestions but she ultimately made the decisions. I trusted her, based on all the raving reviews and the experience in her line of work. This review has been long overdue! I first contacted Cindy via email to see if she did group discounts for her eyebrow procedure and to see her availability. Although it was 2 months out I booked an appointment and waited ever so patiently lol. Before I knew it it was finally time to visit her! My first visit to Cindy was way back in March. Cindy was super friendly and walked both my mom and I through the procedure. She used a pencil and drew out our eyebrows and then asked us to look to make sure we liked the shape. She made adjustments when asked, but also gave her feedback. Once they were drawn in how my mom and I liked she started the procedure on my mom. The actual microblading was faster than drawing on the eyebrows with pencil. The total time for each person was about an hour. The actual procedure itself was a little scary, but having Cindy right there talking you through everything made it a lot easier. She starts by putting numbing cream on, and then mixes the color that she'll use for your brows. After 10-15 mins she starts her first cuts. I have to admit it hurt a little bit initially, but after the first cuts she puts on more numbing cream and eventually you cant feel a thing! Although I was tearing a little bit ( because im a wimp and have a low pain tolerance), Cindy wiped my tears and calmed me down until I couldnt feel the cuts anymore! Right after the procedure I fell in love with my eyebrows! I couldnt get over how natural and clean they looked!!! I was obsessed! My mom loved hers too!! We set our follow up appointment 4 weeks after because I was travelling to Europe and thats the only time I really had available. The heal process took about 2 weeks for me, but only a week for my mom. It really depends on how fast you heal. Cindy talked to us about the healing process and how they would get really dark, start to flake, get really light, and then heal and be the right color. Although she walked us through it, my mom was worried when her brows peeled and were super light. She asked me to text Cindy and make sure this was normal. Cindy replied right away reassuring her that it was normal. Getting in contact with Cindy was super easy and she was more than willing to answer any questions we had! She also sent out a few texts to make sure I was healing properly. I came back with my mom 4 weeks later and had our touch up appointment. Because we're from San Francisco we decided to drive down to LA at 1AM to make it to our appt at 9AM. It was pretty much the same procedure, but a little shorter because she didnt need to make that many touch ups. After my moms procedure she was pretty tired from driving that night and told me she'd nap at the hotel and then pick me up. Cindy was soooo nice and offered to drive me back to the hotel because I was her last client. Please tell me how many people would be wiling to drive their client home after work?!?! Not very many. Cindy is amazing and I would highly recommend her. Shes not only skilled at her profession, but shes just a sweetheart! I promise you'll love her and your brows!! Thank you so much Cindy!
