This place has done waayyy downhill after their renovation. Vibe went from cozy and comforting to sterile and depressing. Food went downhill too. Overpriced. One star cause I had to, and another cause the food was edible. (I'm sure the food is pretty good, it looked good, but overpriced). You can tell they're competing with Casa Blancas across the street which I purposely DO NOT go to because it reminds me of a nail salon but with pastries. Now I have nowhere to go. I saw someone on Yelp post photos and immediately had to save this post. Tucked away in Revere, this place has all sorts of middle eastern food. From breakfast, to snacks to meals, Beyrut Espresso will not disappoint. Bonus there is ample parking available and is next to a halal grocery store. I was here around noon on a weekend and while all the baked goods were tempting, I opted to get a traditional Lebanese breakfast for $19.99. Felt slightly overpriced but I had to give it a try. It comes with Manouche, labneh, foul, veggies and pita. Instead of the orange juice I got a morrocon tea. It's definitely a plate foul of food! Everything tasted delicious. The service is kind. Got the house pizza and chicken wrap. The pizza was warm, fresh out of the oven. Both were delicious. One of the best pizzas I've had in a while. They have an assortment of sweet and savory pastries. The coffee was really good too. Service was great - fast and friendly. The space is beautiful, clean, comfortable, bright. The music was a nice touch. On my recent trip to Boston I stayed in the Revere Beach and stumbled upon Beyrut Espresso and was happy I did. This Lebanese and Middle Eastern Eatery has so much to offer. My sister and I stopped in Beyrut for a quick breakfast and was blown away by all the pastries in their display. Everything looked so good and you best believe we wanted to try them all. But we settled on the Mankoucheh Meat (which was like a flat bread covered in seasoned meat), a cheese and spinach pastry, and these rose like pastries. Everything was very delicious. The mankoucheh came with various toppings on the side to add to your flatbread, which I enjoyed. My sister liked it but wasn't totally sold on it. The rose pastries were the star of the morning, perfectly paired with our cappuccinos. We could've devoured more of those. The young lady working behind the counter was nice. I wanted to ask so many questions about the different items in the case but I didn't want to take up her time since she was working by herself. You could tell many people in the area use Beyrut as place to meet up for coffee or a quiet café to get some work done. If you find yourself in the Revere Beach area, I suggest you pop into Beyrut Espresso for a taste of some Middle Eastern delights. read more

Wow, this place has some of (if not, the) best baklava and Turkish delight in Greater Boston. Prices are reasonable for the quality, service is warm and welcoming - very helpful if you're confused about any of the baked goods. It's fairly cozy inside too. I got a platter of beautifully arranged treats to bring to a Thanksgiving dinner and it was such a crowdpleaser. I'm really excited to come back and try their lunch specials. read more

Revere Espresso in Revere is a clean and nicely decorated spot with good coffee and breakfast options. However, they're missing one of the most important things a restaurant or coffee place should have -- good service. I've been there several times, and it's always the same person taking orders, handling payments, and serving the food. It feels like a one-man show. I really hope they can hire more staff to improve the experience because the place itself has great potential. read more

Once you enter, you're immediately greeted by a warm, clean, and welcoming cafe environment. I had the Moroccan tea with mint, a chicken sambusa, & a chicken shawarma wrap. The chicken sambusa was very flavorful, with the chicken filling inside being moist. The tea was delicious, and the chicken shawarma wrap was even better. You walk into a beautifully clean café space and are immediately greeted by a huge display case of handmade Lebanese baked treats! With an entire section of their case being devoted to a huge variety of different Baklava, they also had cakes, and load of savory items as well. Also tried a meatball and rice dish that was amazing! I would recommend Beyrut Espresso for a quality hand made Lebanese food for any meal of the day. As well as for coffee drinkers! This coffee was AMAZING! We drive over an hour to come get their Baklava now and it is SO worth it. Also the women that work the counter are incredibly kind. I have so much to say about this place. When you walk in, you are surrounded by so many different pastries, dried fruits and breads.Plenty of tables and chairs for dining but not to the point where you felt overwhelmed. Everything was in its proper place and everyone was so nice. The young lady at the counter was super welcoming. Offered me a date drink and rose drink sample. Both options made my taste buds tingle! I couldn't believe how good they both were. I decided on a large rose drink. It was super refreshing. I've had halal food before, but I wasn't sure what to get off the menu. The chef came out to me personally and helped me with my decision. I went with lamb and rice. It came with onions, dates and cinnamon made into a sauce. I didn't know what to expect. I got my food to go because I was in a hurry to get back home. Let me tell you...when I uncovered my food, my eyes lit up in amazement. The portion I received was enough to feed three more people. The lamb was super tender and juicy. Meat was falling off the bone. The date sauce was a hit! It complimented the lamb perfectly. The chef executed this meal to perfection. 10/10!!!!!! The wife and I grabbed some coffee and food here today and the experience was lackluster and disappointing. The young girl who helped us seemed distracted, wasnt very helpful in answering our questions about the novel snacks we wanted to try, and she even tried to sell us a box of macaroons which she accidentally dropped on the ground. We didnt see if the contents fell on the floor or not because she was behind the counter, but when we asked her if we could get a new box, we were given a response that went something like "whats wrong with you folks - I picked up the pieces that didn't touch the floor!". We tried the velvet cake, which was dry and got a coffee which was supposed to be a Turkish coffee, but instead was a regular decaf black coffee - we were already in the car and on our way otherwise woulda have gone in to ask about it. Probably might have gotten another "whats wrong with you, it's just coffee" kind of look and response even if I did. Anyway, the baklava was good and will probably go back for more once we've forgotten about our last experience at this place. read more
