Nutella and banana crepe with vanilla ice cream
    Clarissa C.

Ugh I love a crepe. It's the perfect lighter American dessert that goes well with anything. We got the banana and Nutella crepe and added a side of vanilla ice cream. UGH!!! I devoured this in seconds - the creamy Nutella paired with the bananas and thin crepe... just pure perfection on a plate! I liked that the crepe was perfectly al dente and not burnt or crispy, and they had a generous amount of Nutella. Vanilla ice cream is a must tho taste itself is nothing special - helps balance out the richness of the crepe. The cafe itself has a time limit of around 45 minutes per guest, and they also serve coffee/matcha. A nice place to grab a quick bite and people watch!

4.5/5 stars!! Absolutely devoured the crepes. Yes crepes, I got two and ate both of them, do not judge. I think the only thing was with the salmon crepe I ordered, it needed a tad bit more sauce. Beyond that, it was delicious! And giant! I also got the sweet crepe with apricot jam, which was also delicious!! Really hit the spot. This place also has a lot of tables, free wifi, and tables along the big side window that has outlets, perfect for working and people watching

I dream about returning to Mr. Crêpe. Nice staff and service is usually fast, I've always found seating at night. Great place to do work if you bring a laptop! Highly recommend.

I don't usually like savory crepes, but this one changed my mind. We got the super pesto with had smoked chicken, homemade pesto, sun-dried tomatoes, roasted portobello mushrooms, baby spinach, and fresh mozzarella in it-- and it hit. I've tried savory crepes plenty of times before, but this one was the first that really impressed me. Definitely coming back to try the others. The raspberry Nutella crepe was yummy as well. Food came quick and it gave chill cafe vibes with people chatting or doing work.

First time here and ordered a bacon, egg and cheese crepe. It was perfect! Real, eggs, real cheese and real bacon. Hate to have to distinguish these days but alas... the only thing I'd say is that there was too much bacon in the crepe for me. Likely not a problem for others but it was really delicious. Service was timely and polite. I'd recommend - may be try a sweet crepe next time.

Had high hopes for this convenient crepe café right by the Davis T stop. Sadly, although the super chicken crepe we got had a delicious, savory filling, there wasn't much of it, especially at the $14.50 price point. My açaí bowl was also half the size of typical açaí bowls in Boston, with barely any açaí and mostly just granola. At $12.50, this was not worth the price to me. Overall, this is more of a light snack rather than full breakfast/brunch type of place. The portion sizes were not worth the price in my opinion.

Made couple stops here for lunch/brunch since it is conveniently located right next to Davis T station. And I definitely recommend the crepes from here! We tried specialty salmon crepe, super pesto crepe, and fresh tomatoes crepe from savory menu, and strawberries & nutella from gourmet sweet crepe menu. Our favorite was fresh tomatoes crepe, it is so refreshing and adequately wrapped, as we don't usually like burrito style crepes. Super pesto was rich in flavor and heavy, I'd get it again! Strawberries & Nuetella crepe was also delicious. However, salmon crepe was not great, it tasted like the ingredients didn't blend in well. I'd like to try their bakery stuffs and drinks as well next time!

This has been my go-to cafe for hot days, cold days, work days, and don't-want-to-be-at-home days for two years. For the last two summers, almost every night I would bring my laptop to this cafe, sit down at a table, and journal until closing hours. . It's never too cold or too hot. The crepes are delicious, and the establishment itself feels like a secondary home. I do wish the tables were bigger, and sometimes the outlets don't work. Overall, this cafe has saved my life multiple times, so five stars from me.

I love eating crepes, especially more savory ones. I have a hard time finding some crepe places that offer lots of selection that I choose (I think..the last time I ate BOTH savory + dessert crepes in one go..yes..one go!! was in Long Beach, CA back in 2017!!). So..I've been drooling/wanting to have good crepes for a long, long time!! My most recent trip to Boston, I managed to resolve my need for crepes multiple times! I think I went 3 times...trying 3 different crepes for breakfast in the 5 days I was there! I love that they have a lot of selection for crepes, so you are bound to find something you like/want to try there. The crepes are made to order...so..you need to be a bit patient if many people are there..and they will come serve you at your table. I also like that they are open pretty early..and into the evening, so you can grab whatever you want (actually..not just crepes..but some other snacks/drinks as well). The only thing is..I don't think the place is super conducive to working. I wished the seatings were more comfortable and there was internet to do work..so I can munch on multiple different crepes in a single visit while there for a few hours. However, I like that the place is in a good, convenient area, a few minutes walk from Davis Sq...so it's just a super convenient place to get to! Mr Crepe is definitely one of the places I would want to visit again when I'm back in Boston next time!

Breakfast for one- I ate the whole thing.

It's a good place to study and the tea is good, but the crepe wasn't anything to write home about. It was really pricey for what you get.

This is a super…read moreno-frills place that also does a bunch of seemingly random food like kebabs, shawarma plates, and pasta. I'm guessing drunk college kids go to town here. However, we are way past that demographic and simply went for some sweet crepes for breakfast. SO got the super crepe version of apple, cinnamon, and brown sugar crepe and chose ham and potatoes as his sides. I got a regular strawberry, banana, and Nutella crepe (i.e. no savory sides). The chef and (I assume) manager made them to-order and gave them to us at our table. These crepes were huge and stuffed full of filling. They used fresh pieces of fruit which were cut in large chunks. I really enjoyed my strawberry, banana, and Nutella crepe. The actual crepe had a nice soft yet chewy texture with a very slight crisp on the outside. I think it helped that my fruits were soft; my SO's crepe looked a bit unwieldy since it was full of large chunks of raw apple. I think for apples it would have been better to cook them down more. Overall I think this is a what-you-see-is-what-you-get type of place. Kind of like if you decided to make crepes at home, thought that would take a lot more effort than eating here.

TLDR: You can't go wrong with a warm, freshly made waffle…read morehere, but people definitely have their individual preferences. My recommendation is to go with the Liege waffle with berries and your pick of any other toppings. With a cozy atmosphere and the smell of warm waffles, this is an especially good spot during the colder months, but still a favorite in the warmer months too. ------ FOOD: THE LIEGE (5/5) The Liege waffle is the classic here and the one I'd recommend. Sweet, thick, and a richer snack (i.e. the satisfying treat you're probably looking for if you're stopping by a waffle shop). All of the topping combos are classic, and the berries they use here are high quality. Waffles come out hot and fresh after just being made, so if you order ice cream or whipped cream, know that you'll have to eat quickly if you don't want it to melt into the waffle. THE BRUSSELS (4.5/5) Besides the Liege, the Brussels waffle is an interesting choice and very different from the Liege. As the menu describes, it's definitely significantly lighter, and it's crispier in a different way (not from the caramelization of the pearl sugar but from crisped up batter similar to an Ego waffle). It's extremely delicate, so I'd recommend just doing some powdered sugar and maybe a chocolate drizzle or some whipped cream. ------ ENVIRONMENT / AMBIANCE: * Small shop on the edge of Harvard Square. Some window seating and a few small tables best for groups of 2 - 4. * Given how small it is inside, finding a seat during peak hours can be particularly challenging, and lines can be out the door too. ------ SERVICE: * Order at the kiosk and then find a seat (if you can). When a waffle is done, they'll call a name and come to you once you indicate that it's for you. * Water and utensils are self-service, and the expectation is that you put your plates, utensils, and cups away in a bin inside by the counter.

The ultimate sweetness is evident from the ingredients. The waffle was light and crispy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside; the sweetness of the banana and caramel is mellow and rich, the pearl sugar was slightly caramelized, and the sweetness of the cream was natural and light. Every bite offered a different layer of flavor. But most importantly, it was really sweet, and sweetness is the most soul-stirring enjoyment. It was sweet enough to bring peace, allowing you to temporarily escape the world and focus on this plate of beautiful fairytale. Café au Lait (Latte): Beautifully layered, with a natural milky aroma. But what does the menu mean by confusing café au lait with latte?
