Turns out it is similar to Orange Theory in that it incorporates two stations of rowing machines and weights (no treadmills). Walking in, the lobby is very minimalist and white. You are met with super loud music coming from the workout room and might have a thought of "Oh jeeze, what am I in for?". They checked us in and gave us a run down of how it will work, set us up on some rowers, and we grabbed some towels (which are available for you to use). The class splits up between the rowers and benching and switches back and forth for three rounds. The studio itself is like a half gym, half nightclub. It's super dark, the music is super loud, there are rainbow led lights in the ceiling, and one of the participants (who I think also works there) was woo-hooing the whole time. The towers are pretty cool because they light up different colors to tell you if your form is correct (blue), if it's wrong (white), and if you reached your goal (red). A woman named Amy (who was an instructor but also the manager at the Prairie Village location) was the one to show us how to row properly and would come check on us and give pointers throughout the class. By the end I really had the form down and I appreciate that she took care to watch and help us do it right! From what I can tell they don't offer a free class to try but the first time visit is $15. They offer different packages ranging from $25 to $1000. I rated it a 4 instead of a 5 simply for the music I don't like it being so loud to the point where I was yelling at my husband and he still couldn't hear me lol!

Gym has a great selection of weights and having gone several times, never seen it busy. Bring your own lock and towel (they do offer a service if you wish). The second floor has a basketball court and misc rooms. 3rd floor offers a walking track, good selection of cardio machines (they also have on 1st floor) facing TV's. They have a focused circuit area of weights too. Yoga room is small. Other rooms for classes are larger on the first floor. Overall, good gym, helpful staff and well maintained.

I reached out to her through email MULTIPLE times and she never called me. 3.) Had to wait usually 4-7 days for her to respond to emails. 4.) The meal plan given to me had the total calories and macro nutrients listed. Well, I did my own math to make sure things were correct and the macros did NOT match up with the total calories. (300 calories off) How can you calculate that wrong being a certified trainer!?!? 5.) Very unprofessional training program--- very simple, no details. I could have gotten it off google myself. Did not coincide with the amount of money I forked out to her. Spelling and grammar errors throughout the program. Very disappointed in her services and very upset that she did not acknowledge the fact that she did not respond to my emails in a timely manner. I felt forgotten about. Not supportive at all what so ever.

We stopped by the cafe on the way out. I tried the grilled cheese and tomato soup. The grilled cheese had apples in it and had good flavor. You're better off not signing up and just walking in. 2. Brining guests is a complete hassle and you're charged a non refundable fee of $25 if life changes happen and you don't come with a guest that day. On several occasions I was denied guests even tho it was well before the required 24hour application to request them. On multiple occasions my requests were completely ignored and went unreported to even if they were placed 72hours in advance. I was frequently traveling to KC for work and sports only to be hassled when my wife visited from LA stating that I reached my cap for local guest passes (mind you, she lives in California full time and would visit me about once or twice a month for a weekend) 3. Steam room in women's bathroom is utterly disgusting and wasn't cleaned since I was there over a several month period, how'd I know? The dirt streaks and giant clump of hair that just remained of the floor for over 6months 4. Coming from Los Angeles and the Heimat gym where I pay $350/month, I was excited to try this gym... but this gym is clearly nothing but a wanna-be elite gym. The best part of this place is the flavored water in the women's locker room- And maybe the pools in the summer but good luck finding parking 5. Looking to bring up an issue with the staff and escalate it? Don't worry, they're happy to ignore you. Trust me, you're not gonna miss this place. Only thing it's memorable for is being complicated while trying to use its perks and over complicated. The 2 stars are for the water and the equipment. The cleaning staff is super nice tho!

Cycling is a great way to get your cardio in and heart pumping. The gym was very nice with a pristine presentation. The staff and the instructor were super friendly and very accommodating to us. The Instructor was motivational and gave us a quick run down on the class. We also didn't have to pay a fee for the shoes which other gyms do. I definitely plan and stopping in here when I want to shake things up in my workout routine.

For a "Diamond Level" this club is far below what it should be based on the pricing…read more They are proud of the renovations that took place years ago but if it rains, the roof leaks. The AC isn't good enough to keep up with the building so it can get very warm in the gym. Gym-wise, its one of the worst " Big Company" gyms I've ever been to. There is always equipment broken or in progress of being in repair that takes weeks or months. The gym is rarely cleaned, usually only to pass a weekly inspection from the bosses. The cleaning crew does a subpar job of cleaning of which they only clean what is within arms reach of them as much of the equipment gathers dust. Simple things such as tightening belts on the treadmills or replacing lightbulbs takes months if done at all. The swimming pool/ hot tube does not have a cleaning schedule and seemingly only gets cleaned when there is an accident or a piece of equipment goes down for repair. The Dry Sauna has issues of wood rot and lighting that has never been fixed in years. There are also screws that are not flush with the wood so if you have bare skin touch, you get burned. All of this stuff has been repeatedly brought up to the staff but the problem is that they either don't care or are not in a position to fix these things. The current GM is nothing more than a towel boy.
