Great local shopping, food trucks, giveaways and family vibe. Weekly themes, great drinks, even the volunteers were so friendly and fun.

Perrysburg Farmer's Market officially kicked off their 2026 season yesterday. The downtown area is undergoing some construction this year but no work was being done during market hours. I would label this more as an Artisan Market than a Farmer's Market. They had a lot of vendors offering items like cutting boards, 3d printed trinkets, painted wood canvas, jewelry, flowers, etc. More of your farmer's market vendors were selling bread, baked goods, honey, coffee beans, kettle corn, etc. There sadly wasn't any produce for sale. They did have at least 10-15 food trucks offering a wide variety of options. There wasn't a lot of areas to sit and enjoy food so people were often sitting on the street curb to enjoy their bites. Overall, this market has great potential and is in a great location! I'd still recommend going to enjoy knowing the downtown area is fun beyond the market.

First of all, the thing spanned a good 5 blocks or so and was filled with a variety of vendors. And what am I a sucker for? Samples. And so many were giving them out. One of whom was Country Grains Market, which had fancy bread, each of them being delicious. I would never pay $11 for a cinnamon bread loaf... but that sample made me do it with no regrets and I would do it every week if I lived closer. There were also a good 6 food trucks, a lot of the stores downtown stayed open later, and it is in a DORA district. There were millennials everywhere with their children and dogs. It was a great way to experience downtown Perrysburg and I was so smitten with it that I changed my plans and explored it more the next day.
