It's just a fact, they have too many nice plants that need a home as I tell my husband. These include seasonable plants starting early Spring through Summer. They have produce during the season and their sweet corn and tomatoes are two of my favorites there. An added bonus is they have a loyalty/rewards type of card to have stamped on your purchases for cash off when it's filled. The people working there are very helpful with any gardening questions which I sometimes have.

The baskets are gorgeous, healthy, and overflowing! They're heavy too! This year we got two at $35 each. They also sell flats of flowers for $14.95 I believe. More cost effective to buy the flowers and build your own hanging basket, but if you don't want to fuss with that they have plenty to buy outright. I went back a few days ago because I wanted to buy some flowers for my planters. The weather has been so cloudy and rainy I never started any from seeds. I was able to get way more than I needed for $40. Beautiful petunias and zinnias! I have a hummingbird that visits our hummingbird feeder daily so I wanted flowers to attract them as well. I still have some open pots so I plan on going back to buy some veggie plants. They accept cash and card. Service is always great too. The man that works there is very knowledgeable and helpful. I told him what I had and he suggested what to buy. He said they only put 3 petunia cuts in the hanging baskets we bought earlier this month. I repurposed a hanging pot and planted one petunia cut in it. I'll update with photo once it starts filling out.

We get our bird seed here it's cheaper than Wild Birds Unlimited. On our most recent stop, they even had plants for sale in a little courtyard that had never been open before. They sell all sorts of garden equipment, shovels, etc, but also random stuff like critter traps and stuff for your dog, and apparently, is Toledos go to spot for beer brewing supplies. Workers are friendly and helpful. Definitely stop in and shop local!

Who would ever think there would be a great craft brewing section in a feed & garden store? I recently received a craftbrew kit as a gift and someone suggested going to Titgemeier's for any products needed. I am no expert when it comes to craft brewing, supplies, and products, by they seem to have all bases covered. Brew kits galore and many different styles and flavors of ingredients to brew your own at home. They even have some bulk items if needed. Thanks to the gift of a craft brew making kit and a trip to Titgemeier's, I am excited to see the end result of my first attempt at making a batch of craft beer. In addition to having some hard to find plants, they also seem to be very careful about taking care of the plants they have. It is the only place I've found kiwi vines, variegated climbing hydrangea, and epimediums. I can't speak to annuals, shrubs, or trees.
