I brought my car in the other day for an outside only wash. The car looked pretty good after the wash and I didn't have any complaints. When you are walking through the building to pay, it is great because they have large windows to look through so you can watch your car getting a bath. The problem is the windows are sooo dirty you can barely see your car. I had to squint and put my face up to the window to confirm if that was even my vehicle going through. read more

Due to my own neglect my vehicle was not as clean as it should be, especially the seats. Went in on Saturday and spoke with Herb D. to make an appointment. Showed him everything I was hoping to accomplish especially the very stained seats. He promised to have everything look showroom new inside and out and he didn't disappoint. Dropped it off Tuesday morning and couldn't believe my eyes as I pulled in to pick it up that afternoon. Shining from every angle. You never would have known the seats had been stained like they were. All spots gone. When I had dropped it off that morning I asked if it was too late to request an engine clean and Herb said no problem. As I began to pull off the lot he noticed something that was incomplete and has his employee come over and rectify it. Made suggestions on what products to buy so I could maintan the clenliness. read more

I worked here back when Mr. BG owned it and the crew we had back then in 2005/2006 was amazing. We never had any complaints and took care of everyone's needs. Mr. Herb has been there forever and will make sure all your needs are met and you leave satisfied. I see a lot of complaints about people's cars not being done correctly and I can't contest to that because any time I took mine there it was done correctly. When I worked there I not only ran the registered I also went out and helped get cars washed, and cleaned out correctly. Maybe I need to come back to get these reviews back up. But don't give up on them. If Herb isn't there ask for Melvin Herbert (if he's stil there) he will make she you are also very well taken care of. It's a great carwash. New ownership means changes and everyone is just doin what they are told to do. But I believe in customer satisfaction and if my customers were not happy they didn't leave until they were. I visited on July 27th around 4 pm. I had my SUV cleaned here for the 3rd time.  Each time they haven't done an incomplete job. I didn't feel like writing a review the first couple of times because I figured they were having an off day.  With this third time I have had enough.  The dried on dirt on bottom of my car door and bumper wasn't cleaned off. They wipe it down after it goes through the tunnel but the dry team ignored it.  There was one spot I noticed before leaving and guy came over and cleaned it off. I didn't notice that there was also still a dark spot of dirt on the bottom of my driver's side door, dried bird poop on the wind shield and the vacuum job was subpar(PLEASE SEE PHOTOS). There was still dirt visible.   If you want a quick rinse and wipe, go ahead and utilize this place. If not, go somewhere else.  The people are nice when you ask them something but there is no attention to detail.  I'm still in search of a good full service car wash any recommendations are appreciated. read more

Brought my Husband's SUV in, trying to surprise him with a clean truck today... ULTIMATE FAIL! Paid $30.99 to basically dry & clean the inside of my IWN VEHICLE!! I came here for the first time in May 2021 hoping for a quick mini detail. I usually go to the Pasadena Car Wash and they never disappoint but I wasn't going in the Pasadena area that day and I settled for a new spot, I'll never do that again, we'll certainly not this place. I paid close to $60, the price is higher than Pasadena so I figured BG's would do an excellent job, Wrong! See my photos, they speak for this place. They didn't vacuum the back of my suv, there's still dust on dashboard, dirt and crumbs in console, and large chips/cracker crumbs on seat and floor. There was literally a broken cracker on the floor of the driver's seat. I asked them to re-vacuum and hit the dashboard again, I saw a little difference. If I could give less than one star, I absolutely would. I used to come to BG's and leave happy. Through the years they have declined significantly. their idea of vacuuming is pocketing any items you accidentally left in the car. But they leave the dirt behind. My vape pen is no longer in my car. I took my last puff of it, right before they asked me to leave the vehicle to start vacuuming. When I got back in the car, both my vape pen and my stylus for touch screen were gone. My all weather mats are still covered in dirt and there is visible debris still on my seats. They have a big warning saying they are not responsible for lost valuables, meaning they reserve the right to take anything they want from your vehicle and you can't file a claim otherwise. If you really want a good car wash, go to Roy's. I wish I had gone to Roy's today. Major regrets. Also, the attendant was downright rude to me for not knowing their processes when they have no signage posted. read more

There was still dirt on my seats that could've been vaccuumed and on the interior of one of my rear doors. Everybody is friendly in the sense that they speak but they are pretty stale with their greetings. My car looked better than it did before my wash but I have had better washes from them. read more

Got a gift card for this place so I checked it out. I needed just an interior cleaning as I seem to live in my car these days. Pretty easy to find. A little further than I thought but the big "car wash" sign was helpful. I pulled up to a worker and said I wanted an interior detail. Total was $120 and my gift card was only $100 so I did pay a little out of pocket. He wrote some notes and told me to pull up. From there I was unsure what to do. My plan was to leave my car and pick it up later but didn't know where to take my key. Went inside and everything was taken care of for me. They called me back in a few hours and my car was beautiful. I didn't like the smell of armorall. It was VERY strong and I still smell it after a few days. They also washed the outside and cleaned up the tires so I guess the $120 gets you more than just interior. I didn't stay but they had a nice big inside seating area with some vending machines if you choose to wait. I also like that my gift card was over a year old and they still accepted it no questions asked. All in all a good experience and would recommend this place to anyone. read more

My second time coming and I'm still not impressed. The customer service is horrible! Today I witnessed one of the machines that cleans the side of ur car metal piece spinning on my side view mirror in which it looked like he scratched my paint. When I inquired about it, the cashier says if it scratch cars we would not be in bussiness.. When I went to look at my car it was Scratch. I will not be returning to this business at all! Went there today on a recommendation from someone I meant in the line at the bank. Paid $23.99 for a Deluxe Car Wash that did not include tire shine. Got my car and noticed it was not dried properly nor was the interior console, seats or for that matter any of the interior adequately wiped down. Tried to tell the young ladies who were supposed to have cleaned it but they ignored me and walked away. A gentleman came over to talk with me. Upon hearing my complaint he sent another worker over to clean it properly and another to dry it. In addition, he told me he was doing it in order to satisfy me as the wash I paid for even though it says interior clean, they only wipe down the console not any other part of the interior. Will not be going back there but I did appreciate the attention that I got once I complained. read more

Went there today to get my car washed, and to be considerate because I have 3 kids, I cleaned all of the trash and mess that I could get before even going. I got the supreme wash, which was supposed to be an "Interior vacuum, ash trays emptied, 100% soft foam wash, underbody wash, rust inhibitor, triple foam polish wax, clear coat poly sealant, windows cleaned, dash & console dust removed, towel dry, choice of scent, complete interior and exterior dressing, etc." But after spending $40, I had to go home and continuing cleaning my vehicle. They make it look thorough when multiple people are working on your vehicle at once but not one person, got in the back to wipe the cup holders down or "completely dress my interior." I would not recommend or be back to this business. Not worth the money, or time if it isn't going to be done correctly or at all. It's fast yes but they don't ask you if you want a scent or even talk to you. Cashier only does cashiering and reason for me being here is due to the excessive snow that I need my car clean. I normally do it myself, now the outside of car is clean, I got the "new wash", no scent inside, they didn't dry all the way still wet areas on my door panel, and cup holder etc still has dirt in it. I can do better myself since between the driver seat on the floor you know the hard to reach area where French fries fall lol they didn't vacuum there. $23 it's only a 1 time thing. Worst car wash! I paid 23.99 for an inside and outside car wash. My car was left with water spots once it came out of the car wash. I had to go and wipe my car down myself at the car wash. No one said a word or even attempted to re-wipe down my car. The inside of the car was never vacuumed. The guys working there just seemed lazy! Spent $34 on Supreme Wash; it was not worth the money! I was supposed to get a thorough inside and outside cleaning and I received what was more like a maintenance clean. Not for $34! Vacuum work was shoddy, missed under the seats and hatch. Glass was smeared and streaked like they used a dirty rag and they missed the hatch window and side small windows completely. Mud was under edge where tag light sits; never wiped off. The only thing good was the tire shine and some of the interior shine. They missed more than they got. I guess I shouldve checked behind them, didnt think i needed to for $34. They barely spent 5 minutes on it once it was out of the wash. No one behind me, not busy but they seemed rushed. I expected so much more from them. And I even tipped them, what a joke! Contacted manager for reimbursement. He offered a complete package again but the trust is gone. Unless you want to babysit the crew, I'd skip this place and do it yourself. read more

The only good thing about this place, thankfully the car wash itself does it's job. I am certain the vacuum guys took all the quarters from my change cup. The girl working the register was more interested in her phone than her job. Of the 3 people drying the car, 1 wiped one panel then walked away leaving the other 2 to finish the job. I went to have my car washed at this facility a few days ago and not only is their customer service horrible, their car cleaning skills are horrendous. Last summer the service was a little bit better but this year, I don't know what happened. The outside of my car was ok but the inside was terrible. The floors weren't vacuumed very well and they barely wiped out the inside of the car. Not to mention the rugs in the car weren't even out back in properly. This used to be a friendly, customer service oriented business. I came in with my customer loyalty cards stamped for eight washes and then with an additional receipt when I didn't receive a card on one visit. The owner first miscounted the number of stamps saying I didn't have enough that I had and then told me that I could not use the receipt because he couldn't prove that it was from the car wash when it's stated Bgs name directly on the top of the receipt. He then started taking about the register which had nothing to do with the issue, then he changed his story and said the receipt was too old but I told him the stamps were just as old as that receipt. I then politely told him that I had saved the receipt because I wasn't given a card on that visit . He still would not honor it. It was very disappointing. The owner is unprofessional, inflexible, unkind and made a character judgement On me that I brought in a fraudulent receipt. I directly told him that I'm not a dishonest person. he had no apology no explanation and simply told me he could not honor it and if he did that for me he would have to do it for everyone else. Ok, now I am everybody else? Hmmm. It's a shame the world has come to this where people automatically assume the worst of you, when you are you, not everyone else. I suppose I should bring in a police report when I bring in a customer loyalty card. I've never been treated like that at an establishment before. Obviously customer service is completely lacking and this man believes humankind is inherently dishonest. I feel sorry for him. I will give my card to my neighbor, treat her to a car wash and I will not return nor will I recommend this business to anyone. There's Roys car wash down the street on Crain Highway and I've never been treated like that there. Shame on BGsA dishonest person would have forged a punched card or simply not paid. Usually this is my FAVORITE place to go to. Yesterday wasn't that good. They usually wipe the inside of my car awesome and 2 people work on that and yesterday it was done very sloppy. Wasn't really happy for the service that I paid for(and it was expensive plus tip). I drive all the way from Elkridge to go to this place but now I guess I have to find somewhere else to go. I've had my cars washed here at least twenty years, but never again. They have gotten the last of my money. I was there March 5, 2020, paid $36 for the "super, super deluxe" wash and didn't get $36 worth of anything. You would think for that much money it would be done right? If you did you'd be dead wrong. When my car was "finished" it took fifteen minutes to fix all the unfinished areas. The work was slovenly at best, the effort truly lackluster.. The manager came out to "supervise" the fix ( then later acted like he hadn't seen the issues). Which was also sub par. Totally frustrated, I asked for my money back, being told "we don't give money back after the car goes through the car wash." Incredulous, i replied "after paying almost $40 to go through the car wash you'd think it would be done right. Please take my word for it, the promise of customer satisfaction guaranteed is a bold face lie along the lines of that other lie "trust me you won't get pregnant." Still not satisfied, I called again asking for my money back. The manager told me to come by and he would give me my money back, Lie #2. I drove over, he took my card and claimed the "system" was not geared for refunds. (But gave me a coupon for another wash) What?? So I asked to speak to the owner. "Oh ok, he'll be in tmw at 10. I called once again...my I speak to the manager? "Oh, uh, yeah hold on... oh, uh, he's in a meeting." Lie #3 Now you're just peeing on my leg trying to convince me it's raining. Who is he meeting with? There are only two of you there at any given time. He can't be in a meeting,with anyone but you and you're talking to me! So why did you lie to me I asked "well he's the only one with a code" seriously? I never did get my money back but the soap and hot wax have been scrubbed from my eyes. I will not return to BG's again. I don't say never but I would go to the dentist, gynecologist and have a mammogram on the same day before I go here again. I would strongly suggest you go to any other carwash...kids in the school parking lot, church kids trying to raise money for camp... ANYBODY and ANYWHERE but here. Am I disgruntled? no. Do I have an ax to grind? No. I am old school and I believe word is bond, I believe in giving people what they pay for and lying to customers is just plain ol' bad bidness! Since voicing my displeasure on Facebook several people said they had the same subpar experience and stopped going there years ago. This place is a joke. I got my car washed there and my $5 exhaust tip fell off. No big deal. These people decided that instead of telling me about it they would just sit the thing on my light grey leather back seat and not even tell me. Needless to say the tip was oily and wet so guess what happened? Tons of wet black oil on my light grey leather interior. Called and complained and he sighed and said, "what happened?" acting like stuff like this happens all of the time.
