Everything was boring and not to my liking or overpriced for the quality. At Miro's,There is something unique for every occasion. They had the most beautiful formal dresses, cocktail dresses, and casual dresses. They have both high end designers and the more affordable designers. I couldn't stop picking out dresses to try on. They also had amazing accessories, and clutches. The quality on everything was very impressive. I received tons of compliments on my dress by many people at the wedding and I highly recommended Miro's boutique to everyone. Not only do they have amazing dresses/clothing but the service was on point. Yvonne helped me out and was very patient with me. I'm a very picky buyer and I'm not a super model so only certain types of looks work for me. After trying on 7 different dresses I finally found one that I loved, thanks to Yvonne. I'm definitely going back there from now; I'm so happy I found this place.

I saw the Mikael sequin dress online but wanted to try it on before purchasing so I called the store yesterday (Friday) to see if they had it. The girl I spoke to over the phone was so nice and so accommodating. She took down my information and told me the dress was available in my size and in both colors as advertised online and that they would hold it for me to try on in store. I asked her where the store was located and she indicated that it was off of Kendall Drive and SW 137th Ave, next to Dandy Bear. I asked her about the stores business hours and what would be the best time to pass by, and she told me they were open till 8 PM and that I should go by today (Saturday) because the dress wouldn't be ready till today (again, Saturday). I specifically asked about the best time because Lotus Couture is located right up the street from my house so I could have come to try it on YESTERDAY but she insisted it wouldn't be ready till TODAY. When I arrived to the store (literally less than 30 minutes ago - I just left) the girl at the counter told me they'd sold the dress yesterday and they didn't have any left! I am so upset about this complete disregard and lack of customer service. I would have bought the dress yesterday had the girl over the phone told me it was available, but she told me it wouldn't be because they had to pull it from storage and it wouldn't be available till today! I can't believe that I was stood up like this, what a TERRIBLE first impression. I had my heart set on trying on this dress and purchasing it for my trip to Vegas. Thanks for nothing Lotus Couture!

It was not until recently that the attitude from one specific girl topped it. I had decided to buy my friends beautiful jewelry from Christmas, but as one friend opened her present, the clasp of the necklace completely broke, thus i decided to go to the store and ask if I could switch it. I came to ask a simple yes or no answer and in return one of the girls replied in the rudest and belittling way I have ever been told in my life. Not only was I offended but was told if I even understood how much a necklace would hurt the store. I had said sorry more than 5 times and still asked if I understood. I visited the Dragonfly Thrift Shop after hearing great things from some neighbors, and it truly…read moresurprised me the moment I walked in. With plenty of free parking and curated items displayed outside, you instantly get into the shopping vibe before even stepping through the door. The shop is divided into different rooms featuring well-selected items, pants, dresses, shirts, décor, and even Christmas ornaments. There's also a men's section with dress shirts and suits, plus a secluded room with designer clothing that's slightly pricier but definitely worth checking out. What impressed me the most was how clean, organized, and welcoming the whole place feels. The staff is wonderful, and I was delighted to learn that it's a nonprofit organization run by formerly incarcerated individuals, helping support their reintegration into society. On top of that, shopping here promotes sustainable clothing demand and supply. I absolutely love this initiative and look forward to continuing to support them. They help women who have been previously imprisoned get back on their feet. They provide jobs, guidance for resumes and prep them for job interviews. You can donate your good at this boutique for a great cause! They have a big selection of clothing, home items, shoes, books, etc. I'm sure you can find treasures here at a good value! They have events all the time. I initially was going to attend an embroidery event but was cancelled due to the instructor having gotten sick. Come check them out and support a shop with a great cause!
